sandrewn Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) The next time someone asks if you are from a one horse town? You can look them straight in the face and say with a twinkle in your eyes, at least we have a horse, it could be worse. From itty to bitty: Canada's tiniest town gets even tinier. Former Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I guess if there are only four of you and at least three of you are the town government, you can have the town pay for things most expect residents to pay themselves. Everywhere I’ve lived, either homeowners or building owners pay for garbage pickup.
sandrewn Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) At first I was going to put this post in the Make Us Laugh section. But once I saw them all, some where down right disturbing and left to many questions. Here they are, you figure them out if you can. 31 of the Most Unexplainable Photos on the Internet or (WTF) I did not even try to think of a caption for this one, religious maybe? http://blazepress.com/2014/04/31-unexplainable-photos-internet/ sandrewn I liked most of them, but some I just don't know what to say? sandrewn Posted February 19, 2017 Author Posted February 19, 2017 (edited) Jiffy (time) History & Usage A. jiffy in Technology1. The duration of one tick of the computer's system clock. Often one AC cycle time (1/60 second in the US and Canada, 1/50 most other places), but more recently 1/100 sec has become common.2. Confusingly, the term is sometimes also used for a 1-millisecond wall time interval. Even more confusingly, physicists semi-jokingly use "jiffy" to mean the time required for light to travel one foot in a vacuum, which turns out to be close to one *nanosecond*. B. Noun blink of an eye - a very short time (as the time it takes the eye to blink or the heart to beat); "if I had the chance I'd do it in a flash" instant, jiffy, New York minute, split second, trice, twinkling, wink, heartbeat, flash mo, moment, second, minute, bit - an indefinitely short time; "wait just a moment"; "in a mo"; "it only takes a minute"; "in just a bit" Based on WordNet 3.0, Farlex clipart collection. © 2003-2012 Princeton University, Farlex Inc. He died in January of the year the Padres won the ‘World Series.’ Did you know? That he and Walt Disney trained together as ambulance drivers during WW I. They both lied about their ages to get in. sandrewn Posted March 4, 2017 Author Posted March 4, 2017 If you are like me, the orange juice I drink every day comes from a carton. I always choose the one that says, all natural from concentrate, 100% orange juice. After reading this article, I am thinking of going back to squeezing my own. http://www.foodrenegade.com/secret-ingredient-your-orange-juice/ sandrewn
Former Member Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 My doctor told me to stop drinking orange juice because it’s just sugar. I’ve cut out juice and cut way back on soda. I drink my chemicals in a different form: the water flavor drops (Mio, Crush, Kool-Aid, etc) that are bad for me in an entirely different way. But at least they don’t contain sugar.

The 25 you will see next are not your average seen every day types of wedding. Or, maybe it's just me and that I have lead a sheltered life. You be the judge and tell me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qm9tmg8KGg#t=277 sandrewn The video is screwed up. When you press play it will start 2/3rds of the way through. Just make the indicator go to the beginning and it will play the whole video. Sorry about that. Edited March 7, 2017 by sandrewn
