W_L Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Bless your heart, Steven. Krista ain't no southern Belle ------ Is Cajun considered a variant of Southern or is it a completely different language?
JamesSavik Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Is Cajun considered a variant of Southern or is it a completely different language? Cajun (or more properly Acadian) came from a completely different root language- it's sort of derivative of French.
Robert Rex Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 There's an interesting book that talks about some of the difference in being Southern, "The Southern Belle Primer". Even goes into what the selection of silverware paterns says about the personality--almost like an astrological prediction. Funny, funny!
