It makes it easier for people to read all of them together but it keeps them seperate from each other too
Lugh Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Personally, I find the listing of each poem (250 words or less) as a seperate story annoying, even if it is in a series. Poems of similar style, content, or other elements can be listed together on a page and several pages together as a story... like an anthology of poetry. To do otherwise just clutters up the site, annoys other people when they update once each two-three weeks and you post a poem three minutes later, and a few other things probably best not said on these forums. Please, if you do post poetry, do it anthology style, then start a thread to discuss your poetry with others. Thank you. Lugh
Silven Posted June 10, 2006 Author Posted June 10, 2006 (edited) What do you mean by posting it anthology style? I am not sure what you mean. I post each poem as a seperate chapter within a story to give readers a chance to see each work alone, as it was intended to be read. I broke up the different styles of poems up into seperate story's and put the story's into a series. Please explain what you mean about the "anthology style." Silven Edited June 10, 2006 by Silven
Silven Posted June 12, 2006 Author Posted June 12, 2006 edited to add: you did raise a good point though ... we could do more to help people figure out ways of posting in eFiction. That would be a good idea. Either have a set of "rules" for posting poetry, or just put up a suggestions page. Whichever happens, it will help people out in the future. Silven
