I’m kinda surprised no one else has brought this up.  A modern gay teen romance that is everything the Shack Out Back is about.  I binged this show in one night and then had to watch it again.  I cried like 4 times at least.  It’s soooo good.   I’m spreading the word because, first I think folks here would love it.  But also, it’s based on a webcomic and there’s room for more seasons.  I highly recommend (obviously), go check it out.

I love the Heartstopper web comics and I watched the whole series on the night it premiered on Netflix!  :D

Pagey I hadn’t read the comic prior to watching the show, but I decided to check it out after.  The writer in the show is the creator of the comic.  The show is like a perfect adaptation, I was amazed how true they stayed to the source material.  The kids were perfectly cast and they seemed to really understand their characters.   I seriously can’t praise the show enough.

I'm also reading another of Ms. Oseman's books, titled Radio Silence.  :D

I had seen trailers for this show, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I'm all wrapped up in "Moon Knight" and "Arcane" at the moment, so I need to catch up.

Also, if you get a chance...check out "Love, Victor"! Excellent show! ::nods::

Comsie, it’s right up your alley buddy.  Also the boys are adorable too .  The only recognizable actor in it was Sebastian Croft, playing possibly the most punchable character on the show, but the boy has aged well.

As directed, I have started the series. I’m glad for another story that treats gay dating as absolutely normal! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I think that the purity and simplicity of the story is one of the most important aspects.  I hope you enjoy it.  I rewatched again the other day cause I had to make my friend watch it.   It warmed even his heart.  He’s always been less into romance, and yet by the end of the last episode he said “ wait that’s all there is?”  He was ready for more.

Love isn’t romance. Love is love! A lesson we need to take to heart.

Just in case anybody didn’t see the exciting news this last Friday, but Netflix renewed the show for two more seasons!!!

Looks like the show got a lot of great feedback, obviously more than enough for two more seasons.  I know that’s not that common for Netflix so that’s pretty cool!
