grahamsealby Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 I've been using Grammarly for some time, but I'd now like to switch to something better, if possible. Any suggestions? 3

Any suggestions? I use AI Grammar Checker & Paraphraser – LanguageTool which is an extension i have on Firefox. It works well and if you choose premium, it's a lot less expensive. Mike Carss Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 I use Grammarly and QuillBot. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, and between them, I'd say they catch 99% of my typos/grammar mistakes. https://quillbot.com/grammar-check The free version doesn't have a character/word limit. I also tried ProWritingAid for my previous novel. It's a very powerful tool, but it's easy to become overwhelmed by all the features it offers, giving the impression your writing is terrible. 😅 That said, if you've not tried it, no harm in trying the free version. https://app.prowritingaid.com/ (Side note: this topic would be better suited in the Writer's Circle forum) 3
