I didn't even realise this story ended. I guess it makes sense, it finish the story of what lead to the event of the first chapter. But I hope there will be a sequel, I think there's interesting stuff to explore in what happens next.

Chapter 5 - Gay Bar and a Pool
Davide commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 5 - Gay Bar and a Pool
If she doesn't know, there may be...turmoil. Thankfully for Benjamin, regardless of how his mom reacts, he knows one of his parents took it well.- 36 comments

It's curious that Phil doesn't even remember what he did. And it may work against him, as he doesn't yet know the severity of it. We really need him to not get bail. It's nice to see Bobby and Tim took the news well. Allison's a brat, that was out of line, although it mostly came from curiosity. But it was hilarious, especially the part about the dick sizes.

Chapter 5 - Gay Bar and a Pool
Davide commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 5 - Gay Bar and a Pool
That's a hell of a way for Benjamin to come out, bumping into his dad while being at a gay bar with his boyfriend, lmao. Attempts at finding a boyfriend for Marty are being useful, but not in expected way. One led to gaining a professional contact and the other to more time with his son.- 36 comments

Jesus, that escalated! So Phill is even worse than we could have possibly feared. At least Roger was attentive enough to see what was going on and reacted before Phill could get Sam alone with him. But Phill shooting the person he thought was Roger just because of this, that's a whole other level. He deserves the jail time and hopefully a divorce that keeps him away from his kids after he gets out.

I'm sorry to hear you had to deal with that, but I'm not surprised after what I saw in this story. You write the emotions Marcus felt in a strong enough way that I felt you must have had some kind of personal experience. Despite what I said above, there's one thing I want to mention. I think the conversation between Marcus and Hunter did a great job at conveying what it made Marcus feel. But I really like one detail of Hunter saying "when you were outed", rather than "when I outed you", the passive voice hides his blame like he can't say it.

Crisis averted, Sam came back, although only because he felt like he had no choice. I doubt Sam blames Virgil, he's just shaken by the situation, but I can see why Virgil's interprets Sam's words in the car that way. Virgil's father is okay with him experimenting with other boys, but it remains to be seen what he'll think if (when) it turns to be more than that. As for Sam's parents, I don't think we can conclude anything yet, they were to focus on worrying to show us what they think.

I think I should say I've continued to mostly read this story and it's good. But there were parts I had to just skim after some point because they're difficult to read because of the serious subject matter.because the subject matter makes them difficult to read. And I don't think I should comment if I don't read everything because I could miss relevant information, that's why I stopped a few chapters ago.

Frosted Hearts: The Bracelet
Davide commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Frosted Hearts: The Bracelet
Oh, you'll visit my country. I hope you'll enjoy it. To say something on topic, I like that Five said "Percy baby" in an affectionate way this time, rather than as a joke, it reflects the shift in their relationship. -

I think the south coast Portugal, which is near the Mediterranean, gets about 22C water in the summer. But you get a few degrees more in the Mediterranean in Spain. And I'm on north of Portugal, we don't get the impact of being near the Mediterranean. So I think we get about 17C in the summer, but at least we get decent waves, not almost a salt water swimming pool. -

This is a much wider insanity. Abolishing comes up every few years around here, but this somehow has to be a decision on the European Union level. And that means dealing with 27 countries and very different geographical locations in regards to variations in the lengths of days throughout the year. -

I'm in Portugal. We, along with the UK and Ireland, are normally 8 hours ahead of you, but we haven't switched our clocks forward for the summer yet. -
Frosted Hearts: The Bracelet

“I don’t need anymore caffeine but I’m freezing,” Percy said as pulled his hat further down over his ears. “I’ll buy you a hot chocolate,” Five said as he pulled open the door. Now I want a hot chocolate, but I can't because places that make those aren't open at midnight. And it seems Percy can't have one either because “Two Cowboy coffees” was the order placed by Five five minutes after promising Percy a hot chocolate. -

If you want to kill someone, make it Michael. You don't even remember he exists, anyway. 😂 -
Frosted Hearts: The Bracelet
Davide commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Frosted Hearts: The Bracelet
I like sex scenes when they're not just there to be hot, they're also relevant for something regarding characterisation or the plot. This one was a big moment, it was when Percy finally accepted going along with his feelings for Five. That and Percy also wanted Five to see what he's like in bed before committing. They did also have a conversation after, which Five thankfully didn't let them avoid. But it was a done deal the moment Percy saw Five fuck himself. Six thousand dollars for a gift, damn! Being rich must be nice, take off one zero and it's still crazy. And a breakup gift is not even a thing, but I know the situation is unusual and Five is doing it because he feels bad for Bethany. Meanwhile, I was wondering where the story was going in regards to these brothers and I got the answer at the end. They exist in the story as a temptation that, by rejecting it, Percy and Five showed their commitment to each other. I keep guessing Ethan will show and he never does, but this time the gun sounds like too much for Ethan. This makes me think it's not Ethan, which probably means this time it is. -

I barely started reading the chapter and I'll post actual thoughts after I do, but first I want to laugh at what @Jason Rimbaud said in the forum a couple weeks ago because he actually fooled me, good job. -
I said essentially the same thing as what you're replying to and you make a good point, I think I was wrong. I was commenting on a chapter I read a while ago so, until you said that, I didn't remember that Miguel said “No es la primera vez para mí. Not even close.”, where the Spanish part of that translates to "It's not the first time for me."

You're back! I hope you're okay and your absence wasn't because anything bad happened. This chapter was intense, probably the best one so far. During the attack, you made me really feel the tension and the fear the characters feelings. And then the scary moments when they learned a teenager died, but not if it was someone from their group, followed the dreadful news that it was, where their feelings were also captured very well. Their loss makes this war feel a lot more real for everyone in the parche. It must have already felt real since the attack at the school, with the death of the headmistress and some students, but this still feels like a lot more. Miguel not saying much while the cartel attacks were ongoing may have been him knowing stuff, through his father being involved with the cartel, that he can't tell Hunter, similarly to how Hunter has things about his father that he can't tell Miguel. But it's important to remember that Miguel is not his father, there's no guarantee he has the same views, and I think him wanting to leave Colombia suggests he probably disagrees on at least some stuff. And I have full trust that all the feelings he expresses about Hunter are real, including his desire to marry him some day.

To boyfriend or not to boyfriend.
Davide commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in To boyfriend or not to boyfriend.
Damn, they got caught again, the boys really aren't lucky. Virgil's mom seems to have taken the surprise a lot better than they feared. But I'm worried about Sam's parents if he's so sure they'll take it badly that he ran away before even seeing their reaction. -
Xennials - This Explains so Much - People Born between 1976 and 1985
Davide replied to Myr's topic in The Lounge
On the topic of things called @Myr, I'd like to submit this species from Magic: the Gathering. -
That was stressful for Sam and Virgil, but crisis averted. Scott was shocked, but he took it well enough after calming down, even though he's still not a fan of gay people. Thankfully, all this was sorted out before the other guys woke up. It would have been hard to explain the situation if they had woken up while Scott was still gone.

Turmoil Chapter 4 – decisions and revelations
Davide commented on Paladin's story chapter in Turmoil Chapter 4 – decisions and revelations
Like everyone else said, I'm glad Martin kept Terry's last name. Him knowing Martin was born out of his wife cheating on him and still treating him the same way he would do to his own son means a lot. The pretentious restaurant was hilarious. How dare they enjoy themselves too much, lol? Marty accidentally acting as a matchmaker is nice, but now we need a boyfriend for him. Martin took the news of having a title better than I expected, although I imagine he'll avoid using it as much as possible. His ex wife will probably not take missing out on it well, thought.- 39 comments

I'm a fan of this bit from your story description: "I was told this format/style doesn’t work, but I decided to let you all judge for yourselves." I'm not a writer but I think these kinds of 'rules' should be seen as only guidelines. I guess doing multiple first person points of view is probably harder because you need to make their narrations feel different, but that worked out well in this chapter. Jumping between the three perspectives and reading their inner monologues gave us a different look at the situation than if it was told in the third person. "I don't know if I'm more turned on or disgusted watching this. Nope, little Scott isn't waking up, disgust wins. It's like a car accident or a train wreck. It's so awful, but I can't stop watching." Scott's inner monologue makes me worry about how he'll react now that he's no longer hidden. But this part makes me wonder if he's really disgusted or trying to convince himself of that, while actually being interested. But the other guys may have heard him crash into the tent and, if so, there's the worry of how they may react when if they realise what was happening.

Turmoil Chapter 3 – Family
Davide commented on Paladin's story chapter in Turmoil Chapter 3 – Family
It's good to see Martin hit it off with the whole family, both adults and children. That surely made the decision to accept the role in the company easier. It must have been amazing for Bertrand to see Martin calling him dad so soon. Same for Martin to find out his dad was secretly attended his graduation. I was starting to wonder if, without realising it, was developing feelings for Simon. If I'm right, him dating Rick complicates things. I guess that could be another way the title of the story will apply, in addition to the turmoil caused by the whole revolution in Martin's life. And probably more coming with his ex.- 38 comments
