  1. To me any and every life is valuable. But I don't think there is a textbook answer to this. It all depends on the individuals situation and a persons way of looking at it. Not everyone takes their life to escape something.
  2. LOL. Sorry guys... -hides-
  3. The Dolls by W. B. Yeats A doll in the doll-maker's house Looks at the cradle and bawls: "That is an insult to us." But the oldest of all the dolls, Who had seen, being kept for show, Generations of his sort, Out-screams the whole shelf: "Although There's not a man can report Evil of this place, The man and the woman bring Hither, to our disgrace, A noisy and filthy thing." Hearing him groan and stretch The doll-maker's wife is aware Her husband has heard the wretch, And crouched by the arm of his chair, She murmurs into his ear, Head upon shoulder leant: "My dear, my dear, O dear, It was an accident.""
  4. I have thought about it many times. Many, many times. But I've never pursued. I've hurt myself, yes, but I'm too much of a coward to actually do the deed. I'm at a better place (kind of) and have only occaisonally been in that mind-frame again. But I am a different person now and I would never end my life, no matter how much pain there was. Because that pain is something. It is a feeling. And In its own right it is beautiful. I don't believe there is an after life (there might be, who knows? Though I highly doubt it) and because of this I wouldn't end my life. That doesn't mean the temptation isn't there, it's just that life is so much more beautiful now. As a side note, I'm a bit of a freak and a part of me enjoys sinking into despair, self-loathing, depression and helplessness. A good cry every once in a while is nice too. But that's just because I'm a bit of a masochist
  5. ROFL. And thanks douw.
  6. Nice pics Douw, you are very sweet . Everyone is so wonderful who posts their pics. Not sure I am okay with posting on a public forum but if you BADLY want to see one, pm me or bother me when i'm on chat . I bet all you gay boys are lining up.-cough-
  7. No one's commented so i thought I should. Interesting post. I sympathize
  8. I don't like it. It doesn't give me a good feeling at all. Rather, I'm wondering why any normal Father would hit a child repeatedly for something so trivial. It doesn't really serve the purpose because the problem is bigger than the point trying to be made by using the problem...

and yeah, some people are so ridiculous. they think that anything with overly graphic descriptions of sex is not to be considered in any way good literature. f**king get off your high-horses people.

LOL. I was shocked at that post.

I'm not a prude for finding the ad distasteful. Just seemed out of place. I have no problem with sex in anything. And it wasn't that the ad was placed here, it's just that the ad itself (based on what it was for) was questionable. If that had been an ad even for something not involving homosexuality, I would have thought the same thing. Everything serves a purpose and has a place. Imo.
  12. I'm sure Adam wrote something amazing as usual but it was too long so I didn't read . (tl;dr) Anyway, I find it annoying when people claim putting sex-scenes into a story somehow diminishes the quality of it. That's like limiting yourself to a strict type of writing and claiming only that is good. As it is, most of these decisions are subjective. You have to be the one to decide if that's what you'd like to write, if you think it helps the story, or if it doesn't. It comes down to you. For me it depends on the story and my mood. I can allude to sex if I'd like or I can get down and dirty and lay it all out because stagnancy is just way too boring. Sometimes I avoid it entirely (though you won't find many of those stories on this site ). It's all about you my friend
  13. Lol, Mods, I suggest a move to the soapbox for this one
  14. You're over-simplifying it. Beauty is separate from sexual attraction. You can find someone/something beautiful without wanting to (to put it bluntly) f**k it. Many factors contribute to sexual attraction to the opposite sex. It isn't a matter of choice. C'mon. Really? This is like saying...well you enjoy your green bike a lot so if you say you don't like every other green bike because it just doesn't appeal to you and prefer the black bikes instead...you are a liar and in denial. People KNOW what they like. Frankly, a person likes their genitals because it gives them pleasure and whatever gender's genitals appeal to them is based on many factors. One of them being what holes they'd like filled or would like to fill. Sure there may be suppressed desires or very small subconscious gestures a person has in response to the same-sex but if it isn't strong enough to make an impact it really doesn't matter. People ARE straight. This is proven. There ARE males who have no sexual attraction whatsoever to other males. same for females. Similarly there ARE males who have reactions to both males or females. The levels vary. In the end it comes down to how individuals identify themselves and that is everyone's own prerogative. You cannot possibly be saying that everyone is Gay. If you are, I suggest you read something like a study or just look around you. I'm sorry if this has come across as vehement, I've just been annoyed with this particular argument as of late. I frankly, do no like sexual labels but i'm not saying that everyone should stop doing so. I personally don't want to label myself. I too agree with Nephy, love to ME is good in whatever form it comes in but I can be honest with myself. I mainly like guys. The attraction to women is there too but to a degree. I think this goes for everyone. But for some this degree may be too small to make a difference. In the end, we ARE human. But love and sex, while love and sex together is wonderful, the two also exist by themselves. You can love a person you don't want to have sex with and you can have sex with a person you don't love. Usually when you can both love and be sexually attracted to an individual, the money lies there
  15. Happy Birthday Mark!!!!!!!!!!!!! I present you with this: Enjoy :DD
  16. Perhaps you should ask this of a tech-support website.
  17. Sky you are adorable I like the blue on you!!!!
  18. wow there are lots of creepy people on here. I have to say I must buy a pair of dark sunglasses and then do what you all are doing. Sounds like a good idea. Now, I'm getting bombarded with 5 emails a minute from this apparently popular thread...*unsubscribes*
  19. That IS like really really majorly creepy. But I do my own creeping
  20. kittens are cute. Cats aren't. Puppies are cute. Some Dogs are cute. wouldn't want to own either. Puppies ftw.
  21. As i said, it's because a lot of I's might be attracted to a forum and find it more useful than say a social networking site like facebook.
  22. An E !!! And sammy, you're almost the same as me. It's why I love you so much.
  23. lol i'm the only E in here. Though I'm in the middle so I'm sort of a little more Extroverted than I am introverted. It's interesting I guess people attracted to forums would be more introverted . anyway only the NF part, the intuitive feeling repeats when I take these tests. ENFP is supposed to be rare anyway... Also, no personality types suck...
  24. okay so this test gives you a 4 point personality evaluation and you can use it to see where you fit in. I usually get different results based on the day but I'm pretty strong xNFx type, meaning the two "x" spots will vary but my NF personality stays the same. http://www.humanmetr...win/JTypes2.asp I find it hard to answer some questions because it really just depends on the day or sometimes I want to choose neither option or both options equally but will settle with a random one. other than that, I think it's generally accurate. Today I got ENFJ. http://keirsey.com/h...ab=3&c=champion How about you? What did you get/do you think its accurate?
  25. Okay so I had never listened to him until a few days ago and initially I was like...ugh this sucks. Then I was like well he's so young...and he's singing all about "his first love" and etc etc. I think I caught the beiber fever. However, it is at a young stage and since then I haven't given into any desire to listen to his songs. Though I'm fighting it now... I'm better than this....
