  1. Happy Birthday! Hope you have a wonderful day!
  2. Greg stretched out on the couch, a blanket covering his lap as the wind howled outside. If the lights kept flickering, he would have to go down to the basement and find his battery operated lanterns. With it only being early evening, he really didn’t want to end up spending the majority of the night in the dark. He shoved the blanket off his lap and walked to the large bay window directly across from him. Even in the winter darkness he could see the large pine tree in his front yard weaving
  3. Aspen Falls.. what a misnomer... the Aspen was about the only thing left standing! Little did he know that when the last wind blew he will have fallen too.
  4. Happy Birthday to You Happy Birthday to You Happy Birthday dear Wayne Happy Birthday to You!!!! Hope you have a great one!!!
  5. Okay, I prefer the Garth Brooks version of this song, which is the original, but I cannot find it ANYWHERE... so... here's one of the newer versions, but Garth still sings it better!!!
  6. Going with Comic on the Grinch ones, I really like that one... but from the Jim Carrey version, I like this song:
  7. This one is kind of a fun song as well:
  8. That one is really good ... Was thinking of adding that to my own list... lol Another one of hers I really like is: I Believe in Santa Claus by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton
  9. This one is a fun one:
  10. Another favorite: Belleau Wood by Garth Brooks
  11. This is one of my favorite songs... it's really sad though... Christmas Carol by Skip Ewing
  12. When I was growing up, we had one at my grandma's house, but it was more of a "permanent" one. It was made of felt and had little pockets at the bottom and a felt christmas tree at the top. In the pockets were little items. Some were little felt cutouts, like a present, and others were little mini ornaments, like a nutcracker. Each day, one of them got pinned onto the Christmas tree. The last one, that you put up on the 24th was a little sleigh and reindeer. Me and my brothers and cousins always argued about whose turn it was to pin that day's item up on the calendar. In fact, now that I think about it, I think my grandma still uses it, but since we're all grown up and none of us live close to her, she pins all of them up unless one of us makes a day trip down there. After looking, I found one on Amazon that is fairly similar.

    Be Okay

I could have sworn that I'd already reviewed this, but I guess not. Maybe I just posted in the forum about it. Anyways, reading this actually reminded me of something that would work for this prompt... maybe I need to write it out and just change the names to protect the... errr.. innocent... Yeah.. Anyways, this was a really sad story, but in the end it worked out well, at least for this mother and daughter. Not knowing if your kid is okay has to be the worst feeling in the world for a mother. Well written Cia, well written.

    Speghetti

What a cute way to incorporate the words! I got a kick out of the ice water scene, that wasn't very nice!!! I also liked the thing about the writing dictionary. I'm guessing that when a word gets spelled wrong, the teacher adds that word to their "dictionary"? Cute cute story.

    Taming the Lion

Great little tale Cia, as always! I especially loved how even when you had Seamus in human form, the cats were drawn to him, as though they could sense the other part of him (not that they had to, they saw it and it's probably not the first time), but still.
  16. An interesting little tale you weave here Cia. I really liked how you did leave it up to the reader. My take on it was that he "wanted" to be a sub, but maybe not quite to this extent. Great read!

    Connecting

I loved this story!!!! I really need to go read through all your "dribbles" since I know a lot of them I haven't had a chance to read yet! Ted's date was a complete jerk, but at least Steve made up for it!!!! So now the question remains... does it work out, or doesn't it.... Hmmmmmmm...
  18. Liking the beginning of this, though there are still so many questions to be answered. Hopefully won't have to wait too long for those answers. This I think is going to be an interesting tale, the talk about becoming a eunuch was really unexpected. So, if I'm reading this write, since the middle brother did have two children, is that why Seeon didn't become the "spare" ? And what is a Ma’ Nee???? Keep going with this!
  19. Happy Birthday Rush!!! Hope you have a wonderful day!!!
  20. Lugh, in my experience (granted I haven't been writing as long as you) a story like that is very likely not to leave. If it's been in your head that long, I'd say it probably plans to stick around for a while. I'd personally love to see what you come up with!!
  21. I've definitely had that happen, but I have yet to find a way to get rid of the idea or keep it from annoying me. Unless of course I put whatever I'm working with on hold, but that isn't always an option either. Wish I had something more to tell you! Hugs!!!
  22. Thank you for the review Ande! I am so glad that you enjoyed this story and enjoyed the way it was written. I know that there were spots that moved fairly quickly, but the one thing I didn't want to do was drag out spots that didn't need it. As of right now, there are no sequel's planned, but we'll see what the future brings. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy future stories!
  23. The only thing I can really think of for me is that I tend to lean towards writing Vampires and/or Shifters... Not sure if it's a temporary trend or not, guess we'll see.
  24. Thank you so much for your review Daddydavek! It was tough to decide the best way to finish out the story, but I think this was fitting.... I appreciate all the reviews you have left throughout this story and thank you for sticking with me despite the occasional delays.
