Oh my, Timothy! You may well hope to escape from Oliver but a cake is a cake and a fork has now revealed itself to you. I hope that this will develop into romance and love rather than anything more distressing.

Frank is the boss, and he does need to be authoritative. But Josh hits the nail on the head telling Frank that he can get more out of his staff by being the guy Mark sees when they are off the clock. That this relationship is good for Frank personally and for business. How will Mark, who is rightly upset accept new overtures from Frank ?

I am in awe, continually amazed by the story and the way you blend poetry into your prose. This is a tale of resurrection and of redemption. I have no doubt that in Theron/Luka/Enzo it will be the hearts of Luka/Enzo that will come to the fore to recognise the love Devin has for the man he lost and now has found. Even if the eyes are a different colour. Paulo Coelho " The eyes are the mirror of the soul and reflect everything that seems to be hidden; and like a mirror, they also reflect the person looking into them." And there must surely be redemption from Heaven for the Morningstar ? -
What a delightful period piece of manners and mores this is developing into. In keeping with the period, I trust that Oliver's intentions towards Timothy are "honourable".

Two Spirits ranch a physical and spiritual haven for wounded things. As the story of the Little Man develops I am sure we shall also be witnessing the unfolding of Jake's tale.

A sweet story. I just love the Barrington family and the ease in which they seem to be accepting Oliver as a fitting friend for Timothy; and Timothy's embarrasment is delightful. I await the author's description of the first overtures of romance between Oliver and Timothy. . . and hope pride and prejudice and the morality of the time will not affect them adversely.

A lovely start to a story that will slowly develop in the style of Austen. A tale not to be rushed by author or reader.

Fine development of this story with the younger man making the first overtures. Would Frank ever have done this as he has always kept work and play separate, never forming a relationship with his employees. Interested to see how this will develop as their involvment becomes more intense.

I do love this story and keep re-reading it. And again I hope Casual Wanderer will not mind if I quote from Philip Sidney's ' Song from Arcadia'. " My true-love hath my heart and I have his.....His heart in me keeps him and me in one ....His heart his wound received from my sight; My heart was wounded with his wounded heart......" Just a beautiful last movement in an awe inspiring tone poem. I too had tears in my eyes at the end; and a longing for an encore. Simply wonderful.

Great story. Loving the slow development of the obvious attraction each has for the other. " .... the air was thick with possibility.... " Indeed !!!

Shakespeare. Sonnet 116. How exquisitely you have expanded this. "Love's not time's fool ... Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, but bears it out even to the edge of doom ..." I admire your skill in the way you are developing part 2 of the love story of Devin and Luka. A different approach and a different style in the way Devin is coming to the realisation of what has happened . This was a chapter full of surprises. With more to come. Just loving it !!!

I cannot find the right words to express how this chapter affected me. Your previous poetry pales against the beauty of the way you re-unite the two boys whose love in the space of two months has changed into something deeper and more mature. I wept with the rain; and rejoiced with them in a love that was not rekindled because it was never lost. Any conclusion to their story told in words or music or art or even a kiss will be joyous ; but your readers will grieve at losing them.

The poetry is back and it is so beautiful. I cannot wait for you to tell us how Julian reveals the love story with Mark through his own music. " If music be the food of love ....."

I am just in awe of your writing. What might have been a sorrowful end to a beautiful love story in the chapter "Goodbye" is being transformed now into a new vision ... of hope. And I want to be there through Devins journey wherever it takes him and whatever its outcome. Thank you.

And who knows what redemption or change a selfless act of sacrifice made with love for another person will bring ??

I have mulled over the cruel way Victor dismissed Marc with " ....a future. A home. Standing ....with my son's hand in yours.....That I will burn down to the ground with you inside it ....." If Julian does go to find his soulmate and he and Marc rejoice in their love and need for each other , will Victor take cold pleasure in trying to separate the two in some way that physically harms Marc ????

From the poetry of the first chapters through the brutality of the later one to the reflective tone in the writing of this chapter I have been enthralled by the different paces you bring to your story. Now Julian has grown from a boy to a succesful composer and teacher and without the wealthy parental support he might have expected. But he has had for the past ten years the support of the man he comes home to ! Dare we hope you will fill in the story of the past ten years , and that after that dreadful night of revelations Julian and Marc found forgiveness and solace in their love for each other.

Eventually all things rise to the surface. Truth can hurt so much more than lies. But the deceit and lies of three individuals are going to have a profound effect on Julian. Has he the strength to cope and see beyond what he has just heard from two he thought loved him? And the one he loves ?

A powerful chapter repellent and mesmerising at the same time. Mezenga is a demon , an incubus draining the sexuality and life of those he pressure fucks. Luka will need all of his strong personality and will power to resist; I fear for him as Mezenga calls upon dark supernatural power. A story to be followed with awe at the writer's ability to involve us totally as helpless onlookers ; or participants.
