I have gone so far beyond laughter now, just hysterics. Loving all and every character at the Jamboree. Pick out one? Got to be Barty Junior - now a veteran. Pick out one outstanding phrase in summation? " Step forward and embrace the sparkle."

Chapter 12 The Island Taketh
sandeman commented on Grayson Rose's story chapter in Chapter 12 The Island Taketh
Have we crossed into an episode of the Tv series "Lost"? Is his friend Darrin part of a rescue party? Has it all been a dream? Whatever, an intriguing development at the end of another great chapter. -
The Truth of the Prophecy
sandeman commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in The Truth of the Prophecy
We are about to reach the end of our journey. Vince sorely wounded but hopefully to be healed by Skarg who has returned at the right time. Jack fearful for his friend and guardian but will do what he can to defend him to the end. Theo doing what his trials always intended him for, a final battle with the trees' pack leader. And the Whiteflame pack resurrected to destroy once and for all the evil trees. Goodness and love triumph. -
More interesting developments detectionwise and socially.

Epilogue: Six Months Later
sandeman commented on Soren Kraft's story chapter in Epilogue: Six Months Later
Sad that the story is concluded but a wonderful chapter to end it with. -
What a wonderful fantastical experience this has been, binge-reading the last few chapters. Beautifully drawn characters who could all almost be human or supernatural, probably something in between since they've all been touched by magic. I adore Matt. Was he the prototype of Lucas? Now to move on to the next tale and the unresolved situations from this one.

Isaac Newton invented calculus to explain change and motion in physical systems( according to Google AI). So Simon was actually putting calculus into words or vice versa. Is there a reason I only managed to get O-level maths? But what a delightful chapter! And I have always found Lovecrafts creations frightening.
-
Again never underestimate the power of the British Education System. Is Simon about to unleash the power of A- level calculus? Will Matt survive and take his being force-fed chocolate to acquire a future A-level in Chocolatiering? Will he have to move to Belgium?
-
Up until the bout of jousting with the crowd Matt wasn't looking forward to retaking his A-level in Physical Education.
-
And now we have Matt proving he has an A-level in Domestic Science....." here to critique your latte art. Your foam is subpar and your extraction times are a disgrace." Then we move on to a demonstration of the technique of mopping! Never underestimate the power of the British education system.
-
My choice out of this chapter is again Matt. Harsh of Lynix to call him a "poor addled mess of a mortal". Particularly when he does have a grasp of politics......" blow up a Costa Coffee. That's, that's terrorism". ...... and of economics... "The economy is in shambles and you want to destroy my free latte?" Im sure he has an A-level in both subjects. .

Late to this story. So much happening as usual. Pick out one thing. Matt being goosed. By a determined goose. A laugh a minute.

Parents Weekend, Book Three of Five
sandeman commented on Boy Mercury X's story chapter in Parents Weekend, Book Three of Five
Matt's not just a sex magnet for hunks! Max is just SEX! -
Parents Weekend, Book Two of Five

Like all your stories, Matt always delivers! -
I'm glad we've got to the bottom of that! But Jake is well ahead of you. "Make it a steel one, and add one of those digital locks or whatever they're called. After what happened yesterday, I want to make certain the room is more secure."

"Oliver laughed." A chapter where we have perhaps Oliver letting his innermost feelings begin to surface. Finding perhaps some commonality with Julien. The size/weight of the packs corresponds with the amount of emotional luggage we carry with us. Some are heavy burdened some unprepared. Oliver is feeling good that he is achieving a kind of equilibrium. I hope that he finds in Julien the guide to take him forward.

Scouts Guide to Vampire Hunting. Section 1. Rule 3. " I am Loki of Asgard , and I am burdened with glorious purpose." (Anonymous Addendum re Lucas (without official authorisation)). Apologies to the author. Forgive me.

This reads like a bad - or brilliant - recruitment campaign funded by the Scout Movement; but are you sure, Topher sir, that you read correctly the terms of reference and conditions of employment. And am I too old to join Andy's group? Physical age 83, emotional age 33, mental age 13. I love this tale. I am a great believer that laughter is the best medicine and you are providing it by the bucketful.

A sweet meeting of the two young men who know they have 'unfinished business'. Much can be said in a glance, or in a reaction to save someone. I like the way Ingomar finds time for reflection; and a growing realisation that his loyalty might just be for Marcus. How easy to walk into an ambush which could have been much worse but for Ingomar's trail sense and Marcus' spear throwing. Further action and reaction ahead.

Great chapter. A beautiful evening for all three. Nothing forced, just a preparedness to give and share of themselves.

Chapter 11The Island Giveth
sandeman commented on Grayson Rose's story chapter in Chapter 11The Island Giveth
Interesting development. Father and daughter? It didn't take long for Connor to get over Jamie and get it on with Dale. And why the antagonism toward Jamie? -
My aged braincells could not do the mental gymnastics required by drpaladin! They were inundated by the information in the unparalleled Scouts Guide. The Sanchez triplets have indeed spoken. I think for the first time Andy has realised how much he is loved. That he is not alone. That he is protected. That he now has Barty Jr in his defensive line up. Is he the secret weapon whose erudte knowledge of his rock cousins will cause Esca to surrender and flee after a two hour discourse? And as ever the chaotic, irresponsible, irrepressible pack mascot that is Lucas. Who will probably take more defending than Andy! Exam Questions. 1.What was the inappropriate phrase Lucas has taught Barty Jr ? And does Bartholomew know yet? 2. In fewer than 5000 words outline the tree stumps counter proposals in the argument with Lucas.
-
You couldnt resist it could you. " ...chip off the old block." Mind you I can't wait for Bart Junior to join the scout group! But not NOT the Squirrels. Although..... ? And congratulations Andy on becoming a father again - or is it grandfather!! I love ( as I do everything in your tale ) the continuing development of Andy. He is no longer the cold creation at the start of the story. He is becoming a warm caring man regaining his humanity. And sharing his love . But I hope not losing all vampirity.

The ranch has to be being watched. And one of the bastards out there has taken advantage of an afternoon when the guys are feeling in a more relaxed mood to make a move, coincidentally when River leaves a propane tank by the bunkhouse! We all are hoping that Kidd's injuries are not so severe as Doc fears. Bass' reaction was totally to be expected but Coop was able to restrain him. A powerful chapter.

Chapter 4- Sven's Decision
sandeman commented on BendtedWreath's story chapter in Chapter 4- Sven's Decision
I am finding the development of the matching of Nos / Cal and Blake/ Emon quite endearing. Orion is a bully but he just needs someone to tame him. Now that would be interesting! Sad to lose the partnership of Sven and Luc, though. They provided Nos with a loving stable home.
