Dom Just a crush though. I don't know enough about him besides the fact that he is an amazing writer.

I am totally the person who picks up a book in the store and reads the first page and the last page. When I get to a suspenseful part in the novel, I will skim ahead until I find the resolution, then go back and read the suspenseful part. (That is why I am such an impatient reader of your books, waiting for the next chapter in all your cliffhangers is stressful!) I like happy stories. Angst and drama is great as long as it all works out in the end. Ever read, "My Sister's Keeper"? That book (not the movie-the movie wasn't nearly as sad) pissed me off! As far as chat, I drop in once in a while to say Hi, so I tend to miss the drama. No idea what happened, but the threads were frustrating to read. Chill out! Grow up! Deal with issues in a respectful manner so all of the adults don't have to be grounded by the admins. That is embarrassing. P.S. I wasn't around for your earlier absences, but please ... when you need to take a break again ... try not to do it during a cliffhanger!!!

Why oh why am I finished reading already? Why oh why did it take the whole chapter to see Milo again? When oh when is 19 coming? The last few Fridays there have been chapters. I spose its too much to hope we'll see 19 tomorrwo?

Females to Lugh? I don't know if I have sucked up enough to you in your forum for you to be my Captain yet... I just wanted to say that I have been dropping into chat a few times a week for a little over a month now. Besides some teasing from Lugh (which I am fairly sure is all in good fun), I have found it to be a welcoming place despite my newbie status. I can't imagine what has gone on today (and I am curbing my overwhelming and unhealthy desire to beg for details), but I have enjoyed my discussions to date and have yet to have a bad experience.

Brandon FTW! Milo's boring apart from his paintings BORING! He is one of my favorite characters in Dom's stories. He has a mysteriousness about him, and I just can't quite figure him out. I love him almost as much as I love Nels. How can we cheer for Brandon when we barely know him? Besides, he isn't any more out that Milo, even if he is a little more comfortable with his sexuality. BTW ... As long as Linxe has been using it, I still have figured out what the ITE part of MNITE means...

You know, after reading all the posts, I could almost see Milo telling his father and Jame that Nels came onto him with the alcohol and lube and Milo turned him away. Then having Jame spread those rumors. I still buy him not getting in touch with Nels for a while if his Dad said not to, but not being able to resist going to him when he saw him in the parking lot. The other obvious is that this was simply the first day of his Dad slackening the reigns of his "grounding." I dunno. This story has been on the tips of my toes and I want to see the end and I want it to go on forever. *sigh*

I think probably his asshole of a father just grounded him guys. I am sure he knows the phone was disconnected. If you think about it, there isn't anyone Milo was close to at the school besides Nels, so it makes sense to me that no one tried overly hard to get in touch with him. If it is true that Jame started the rumors about Nels, he certainly wouldn't clue Milo in. That would add to the reason Jame tried to stop him from going to Nels, other than knowing it would get him in a heap of trouble with his father. Despite everything, Jame seems to still not want Milo to get hurt and crossing to talk to Nels would have hurt him at this point, as Jame is still obviously not ready to come out. I cannot wait to see what Nels and Calen cook up to get Nels and Milo some time together!

Cliffhanger again! AHHHHHHH, Dom what you do to my insides. I like the beginning. It makes perfect sense for their friendship and Caleb is feeling more frustrated about not knowing, than Nels being gay. I was dying with every slide of the mouse with no Milo. However, I love Caleb all the more after the ending. Dom, will you please end the torture! I need to see Milo and Nels together again. P.S. To all the nonbelievers .... NELSON AND MILO TOGETHER, FOREVER!!! Sorry Brandon, maybe you can be in another story.

I just started reading and I am entranced. I am heading off to day number four right now. Its painful to read, but I just keep going back.

I don't think Assface likes Milo (but I am not ruling out the possibility that he is gay. Mike L is right. Nels didn't call Brandon cuz he loves Milo. Lastly, I think you are right Vic! I thought it when I read it, them forgot cuz of everything else that was going on. I think Brandon knows more about Milo's past!

So, I actually loved that chapter and I thought the last paragraph was brilliant. The fact that Nels crossed out free and they all left together was beyond perfect for the spirit of this story and really summed up their relationship with each other. Whoever reminded us of the note left on the floor, thank you. I do believe that had a lot to do with the rumors. Maybe Jame heard them and concocted the rest of the story to make Milo look innocent in comparison to Nels? I do think he is protecting Milo and wouldn't intentionally hurt him. UNLESS, he really did bring Milo's Dad home early. AND, seriously people. I am all done with the doubters and haters. Milo will stand up to his Dad, just give him some time and have some faith. I am dreading the inevitable Nels/Brandon fiasco that Milo will surely find out about. Grrrrr! I am so impatient and I feel horrible for being so impatient when Dom has been putting chapters out so quickly ... but, hurry Chapter 17!!!! Dom, if you are out there, its my birthday on Wednesday!!!!

Hey! So, I first discovered Nifty in 2005 and got introduced to slash. The first author I ever fell in love with was Ardveche. Life got busy and money got tight and bye bye internet. I just refound nifty and discovered GA in October/November of this past year. All of the authors I have fallen in love with seem to be around, except Ardveche and Matt. Does anyone have any idea if they are still writing?
