    Transmorgification

'Unabashed by his nakedness'... surely no 'natural' creature is even aware they're naked? 'Then with some many tries' ... is the word 'some' needed? Another subtle tale. This time of disenchantment with how things turn out. So many people feel like this without the possibility of such a grand exit. [i bumped your green button.]

    Changling

Ooh... took me a while for the implications to sink in. Just a little bit unpleasant, isn't it? and so true to the traditional character of 'fairy folk'... they are cruel in their treatment of humans. Very subtle and fine. Editorially: One has proof of, not for, I think that's what you wrote... I should have copied it. and don't forget to put a comma before the person's name in speech, thus. "You'll be a good boy, Robin?".
  3. 'These were the damned souls of beings that had been murdered or who had themselves murdered others.' Presumably Kian will join them after death, being an accomplished assassin? Or is it only humans who end up here? Again, endlessly inventive, descriptive and action-filled prose that astounds in it's plenitude!
  4. Goodness me! A bit of gentleness in there as well as rutting... clever of you to meld the two. Can I have Kian next?

    Chapter 7 - Quiet

Ye gods! what a world!!! You are very clever to make us like Kian despite him being a murderous thug. I meant to add back in chapter 4? that I appreciated your words about 'Faith' and how you showed how dangerous to oneself is the blind faith Kian had regarding the priest.
  6. Getting f***ed to death seems horrible to me. I thought it odd that Constantine smoked... That's as bad as getting fat, surely. You sure can roll out the words!!! your brain must be a seething mass of ideas, visions and plot twists and turns. What a tale!!!

    Chapter 1: Arrival

This is hilarious! I gave you a green tick. Teehee shehe. Now I must go f**k a knot hole.
  8. Calisto dead! thank goodness and now Kian knows of Dolmani's turpitude... Great stuff. another green tick from me.
  9. Wow! what a fight. It beggars belief that they would all be so against Kian... What can be their motive? How you manage to keep all those names and qualities in your head and weave them into a story is astonishing... you must have a full notebook to remind you of it all. I bumped your green spot. Well worth it.
  10. So many twists and folds and complications!!! I'm too prosaic to live in any world other than this one... Poor Star... what a life.... and what's his future? And what an imagination you have!
  11. Bloodbane ... what a wonderfully inventive mind you have. I am impatient for the horrible Dolmani to get his just desserts, Renfro's a sweetie.
  12. You have a superb talent for descriptive writing, from the first word to the last. I have a vivd picture of the dreadful place and its inhabitants. and the description of Hunter- the golden boy naked, is a treasure. Thanks. Dolmani is wondrously corrupt and evil and Kragar suitably wise and pleasant. Such invention! I love it... God of thieves... wonderful.

    Carbon Based!?

Yay!!! I love it! "That’s frightening. Fission technology, hydro-carbon pollution; they have to be insane." Indeed, indeed. And then the twist with the Hendrix words.... we know we're insane but go on doing it... Thanks you've made my day.

    Story

OOh... I hope They find the real culprits. What a horrible Policewoman. There's lots of detail and scene and character setting. I'm a bit impatient and tend to cut to the chase, but it's a great plot so I look forward to the next chapter.
  15. I'm thinking no one should have anything to do with nuclear fission...
  16. Gay suicide and harassment. Watch and cry. http://tv.gawker.com...u-will-ever-see
  17. I love baths if they're long enough for me to submerge, and then shower afterwards. but we're on rain water tanks so can't have baths... in the dry season two minute showers are all we can spare.
  18. What wonderful photographs. I had no idea it was so beautiful . My heart is aching for everyone and every living thing there.
  19. Forrester then Captiva... everyone in aus can service a Captiva, and spare parts are less expensive.
  20. Thanks... I look forward to the updates. Apropos of reviews, I had an idea! [wow!] If the word 'review' was changed to 'comment' that might be less intimidating to people who dont feel qualified to write a review. Thanks, Linxe. someone else told me about that, but it doesnt appear when I cut and paste. I've tried firefox, google and IE... but there must be something wrong with my satellite connection -- they're very temperamental. Gaytron, I will heed your advice... thanks.:2hands:
  21. Actually, I'd like to post it again, [under the name clovis, not the other name for various reasons]... but the trouble is the editing! no matter what format my stories are in on my computer in 'Word', when posted they appear as a great blob of text, and I have to go through on the little box and put in every paragraph break... takes ages and my eyes cross! I don't mind doing it chapter by chapter as I'm doing with The Price of Freedom at the moment, but 32 chapters in one go? arghhhhh. I've had feedback by people who liked it and missed the end, and if the GA editing changes, It will appear again. meanwhile, as I mention on my profile page, the entire story is available totally free for download here: http://www.lulu.com/content/8027268 simply click on 'download'at the right hand top corner. And I agree absolutely with those who say the knowledge that two or three people are reading and enjoying it is enough. I sort of wish I hadn't begun this topic, because I like GA so much I'd hate anyone to think I was criticising it...
  22. AH ha! that explains it... thanks to you I checked the member list of the forum and discovered that writer apparently isn't a member, therefore has no profile etc...... It's odd to have two diferent sites for the one place -- GA... keeps things interesting I suppose. Thanks for the responses everyone.
  23. thanks... I'll try that.
  24. The reason probably is because, like me, most people have either never seen the little + - boxes, and if they did, they had no idea what they were. I've just given you a + to cheer you up.
  25. Hi, I've just read a brilliant story and want to find the author's profile to leave a message.... but how do I do that? If I click on the name I only get his stories... round and round in a circle... Other people manage to find my profile, so I'm feeling even more stupid than usual. All suggestions welcome. :pickaxe:
