  2. They're having soup! 🍜 Thank you for reading and commenting, it means a lot. 💚
  3. 😁 I'll have Maio place a flower atop your head, too. 🪻 Thank you, @Dan South.
  4. You called me a sly fox. That is so funny. 😂
  5. Spoilers, @CincyKris, spoilers! 🫣 A solar boat you say? Opener of the ways? Or maybe just guiding people along their paths? Sun and moon. I am dropping hints here and there throughout all of the chapters. 😬

    Chapter 9

I think I remember 95% of them weren't even actors. Kuntergrau ended me. Not every story has to have a happily ever after, but the series just floored me at the end. What the f***. I appreciate your actor choices though.
  7. Thank you. 🧡 All valid options. Stay with me to find out
  8. How could they! They didn't even have soup yet! Will be interesting to see if Maio knows her… right? Thank you, @akascrubber for your readership and comments. 💚
  9. To everyone: I appreciate you staying with me and continuing to read. I know we started in a simple (shitty) bar, and now we find ourselves in a magical forest with treehouses and fireflies, yet people are still here. Thank you. My mind goes places, but you continue coming back. I want to hug you all.
  10. I'm very unfunny in real life. So I appreciate this comment hugely. Clara only knows the best people.
  11. 🙂 This is not just some Hollywood movie, I made a language! Yes. Maybe Maio knows more? And down the rabbit hole we go... Thank you so much for commenting, @drpaladin 💙
  12. Present Day. A small city in Central Oregon. The Lunar Haven. “I feel useless,” I said. Clara and Dave had done most of the packing. I was just standing around, looking at Dave’s backside more times than was appropriate. And I couldn’t keep my mind from wandering to the topic of Mark. As I glanced over at him, I saw a troubled and handsome man. A man I had once loved. That I still cared about. The things on his mind were so clear, it made him look ancient, burdened with regret and the

    Chapter 5

Great chapter. I didn't know of your history with this story before, so I'm looking forward to having this story around for a long time. Thank you for posting. 🙂 I did catch the referenced people I think (trying not to spoil) @Justin4Fun, but only because I have an inquisitive research mind and found a list online that would help me identify. 😂

    Chapter Nine: Mark

Mark: "I want to humiliate Grey in front of the whole pack, including the alpha." drown: "No problem. I'll have that arranged. 🤝" That comment entertained me way too much. Five contemporary chapters, then one flashback—seems like a good ratio to me 👍 🙂 Thanks. Thank you 🙂 I am currently trying to release 2 chapters per week, next one hitting tomorrow hopefully. The 52 is a rough estimate, it used to be 50 but then the characters did their own thing and so stuff became longer. The characters have chosen their Puppet well! What a nice compliment 😁 Can't wait for you to meet more of them. My butt is fine though. Thank you for all your feedback. 🧡

    Chapter Nine: Mark

Oh I know. And I remember that Roy Orbison didn't want David Lynch to use the song. Then changed his opinion later after seeing the movie.

    Chapter Nine: Mark

Oh yes. Here's a playlist someone made of Twin Peaks. Lots of the odd music video endings included from season three.

    Chapter Nine: Mark

Thank you for reading and commenting. 🙂🧡 I have to disappoint you, I'm just a puppet for these characters. They tell me what they want to do. It's a really odd feeling writing them. I immediately know when things are wrong, and then I stop. And then I suddenly write flashback chapters like this one. It just felt right to have this as Chapter Nine. I will do my very best to bring all open ends to a conclusion, but I also like David Lynch a lot, so who knows... Right now I stand at 52 chapters. It's a long road.

    Chapter 9

Rhys seemed way more forceful in the relationship, but it's what appeared to our protagonist, and was not the truth. They both played a role. Now they have a chance to get to know each other. Maybe I'll write a story about my previous relationship (10+ years, wtf) and how that ended. Not sure I want to go down that rabbit hole yet, though. Looking forward to more 🙂

    Chapter 9

Ha, they found each other. Nice turn of events. Truth in a relationship is important, I think maybe they just realized that.

    Chapter Nine: Mark

It was my intention. But I also hurt writing it. It's cathartic. Maybe the druids have something more to say about how all of this works. The wolves seem connected to nature—and Grey maybe even more so? If so, why?—while remaining utterly oblivious to the inner workings of magic. To me it says a lot about how tainted Grey is having grown up in a pack like this. He's not cursed, but he applies things he learned in situations of despair. And sometimes even his most animalistic side, his wolf, has to keep him in check. You can be a ravenous creature, and still remain respectful to nature. And… balance. I'm honored by all feedback I get. It's very humbling. It affects me greatly, and makes me a better writer. I started with this exactly one month ago… Thank you for your feedback and readership. 💛

    Chapter 5

It seems it required Harry to almost lose it all to remember what he once had. Stuart didn't deserve the way he was treated, but I'll take the happily ever after.

    Chapter Five: Miles

Thanks for a very well thought out and reasoned response. I didn’t actually miss that descriptive detail. What’s to say Dave isn’t also Hispanic or Native American or Arabic or Pacific Islander or black or any number of other descriptive labels for persons of color? I’m all caught up and you have revealed more over the later chapters. And that’s good. There’s still a lot of room for you to paint in the canvas as you see fit. I don’t assume the default is Caucasian. Unless an author tells me it is. All my best! Thank you, that is very good to hear. And yes, there is much more to fill in, and it becomes way more descriptive in—tentatively—Chapter Eleven, because... reasons. I do have all those descriptive details written down, of course, I don't want to accidentally change someone's history or just flipping eye colors all the time.
