  1. I binged this story this weekend. It doesn't happen often. Morningstar: The Malaise lives off of its incredibly charming and impeccably written characters. The pacing is on point, and the plot is very well rounded to just leave you wanting for more with each chapter. Are there tropes? Oh hell yeah, but this story does them justice. Like any good shifter story, this is about love and community. It's about cherishing the traditions that come with a bloodline just as much as the family we choose for ourselves. Blood can be strong, but love trumps all.
  2. I'm just very happy right now and I wrote this for you: Beneath the stars, where whispers heal, Kellar’s touch turns wounds to steel. Tobyn, his flame, fierce yet kind, Guides his heart, his soul aligned. A healer’s howl, a guardian’s light, Together they pierce the velvet night. Through shadowed trials, their spirits blend— Alpha and mate, no storm can end.
  3. It's a trope, it's predictable, and yet I was very much surprised, because it's all so believably written. Thanks
  4. BOOK 2 CONFIRMED.
  5. You carefully set that up, didn't you, Mr. @Headstall sir. AHHHHH! AHH!

    The Reunion

    That was nice.
  9. I'm weird with stories. I sometimes start them, then abandon them quickly—but that's my own fault—but usually once they grip me, I can't stop until the end. That happened in this case 😅 I appreciate this story a lot.
  10. I had cataract surgery on both eyes at 39 and now two years later, I see better than ever. I hope things go well for you. 💙
  11. Always!
  12. I did! Currently on family vacation… So I got up and immediately continued reading. I did get some writing done, too, though! The community here is fuel for writers, and I too like to at least pay it forward by commenting. Brings a smile to my face knowing you enjoy the reader interaction, even after such a long time (I do, too!)
  13. I am racing you!
  14. I did but now there’s an air fryer on my shopping list!
  15. Scenes are playing over and over in my head… I'll see myself out the door…
  16. Hello and happy Sunday to you! 🌻
  17. Very kind of you. Thanks for the recommendation. I appreciate the low amount of oil needed, it's probably a lot more healthy already than the stuff I fry in a pan. And I'm not a big cook. 😂 Soups and stews and casseroles. I throw shit together and then wait for aeons. Air fryer should fit right in there!
  18. This author does have an odd sense of humor: !
  19. Hard to miss it It's all about the wolf🐺!
  20. Hahaha. I… I mean… It originated from the idea of a belt I was wearing when I was still very very young (at least it's what I tell myself) around the time I registered my account on GA in January 2010, I thought the picture was hot and I used it as an avatar on this site: So when I decided to make a new one, I decided a close-up of my crotch would be most fitting, retaining a big belt buckle. Tradition so to speak. 😛 Despite my fascination to the vast outdoors and specifically the Pacific Northwest, I am as German as they come, and live in Berlin, Germany.
  21. Again, too exciting for my precious heart. Reznick is down and I appreciate the addition of Tobyn's childhood friend.
  22. I am pleased that they listened to me and showed some responsibility. Lives were depending on them doing it! That was very hot.
  23. While I am extremely pleased with the plot, I think it's irresponsible for Kellar and Tobyn to not violently fuck make love right away! They need all their strength and the best bond they can have 😛
