Hey everyone. Life’s a rollercoaster right now but I’m doing fine. Sending 🫰🏻💙 Sorry for being so quiet and absent.

Thank you, @JohnnyC — I am in fact doing that. The weather has been treating me well and I have a tan—looking frightfully radiant. I have written in the meantime, but many things led me to decide that it’s better to finish the story or at least a significant portion of it before continuing to post. When my long-term employment disintegrated with the bankruptcy at the beginning of the year, I had to build a business, not knowing it that would be fruitful or not. Well… it is. But it’s taken a lot of my free time and creative energy so it’s not easy for me to plan unpaid writing sessions anymore. I’m up to Chapter 34 right now, and I’m feeling good about it. But for the sanity of everyone, and especially myself, I need to hold back. For this apologize.

They just… think heating up meat is odd. Or frying it. But they’d eat it, I guess. The druids however… I love these questions. I don’t even have to think about them, I put my brain in [insert character name here] mode and just answer the questions as they would. 🧡

In shadows dark, their deeds were done, Ifrit’s flames spared not a one, Chains and sins turned into ash, Justice dealt in a fiery flash. No mercy for the wicked’s plea, For all complicit faced his spree, When dawn awoke, the land was clear, Ifrit’s wrath had scorched the fear. Having said that, I am sooooo looking forward to the next chapter I accept anything you’re throwing at us, because good writing is good writing. 💙

Either that or a melancholic ending, no love, but Andrew buying Matt to set him free with whatever happens after leaving open for interpretation. Then again, there are so many victims just in that ship, I can’t see a happy ending anywhere unless a fire demon reigns down on those responsible and mutilates them. I don’t think that’s in store for us, however Really good chapter. Still hooked, and more so. I wonder if D ends up helping more than telling Matt to jump.

😬 There are SO MANY clues and hints in earlier chapters, just saying… 😛 This isn’t a Portkey! 😬 The betrayals in this case are not simple, and neither are the agendas that people had (and still have). I won’t be revealing stuff in a comment, but I feel ok to point out previous hints and questions to ponder. 😬 For example: How much did Theodore actually influence members of the pack or specifically Luis and Beatrice. One might wonder at what point he was out of the picture. Chronos in the latest version of his truth said they created him, and then they tried to fix the mistake. When was that? Luis once said to Mark that he’s less of a disappointment than his own sons Grey and Sebastian. Why? They did play a part in trying to keep the brothers apart. On Beatrice’s part: Motherly love or ulterior motive? On Luis’ part: What did he have to gain by turning Mark wolf? When Theodore appeared in Labirinthoset, he was surprised to see his sons. He was in fact particularly surprised to find out it was two sons, he seemed surprised Mark existed in the first place, and he blamed it on “that witch”. Why did he not know? In Chapter Three: Strawberry, after Beatrice’s violent departure, Grey felt a change. Why? What changed? What did she do? This chapter we learn that the very same day, Mark felt a change in him, too. Back in Chapter Four: Coalesce, we learn that Dave “made the bad guys go away in screams”, he also nonchalantly mentions it happened before. Makes you wonder when those powers awakened, right? By leaving, did Beatrice cause all of their powers to awaken? I really do have a plan with all of this, I promise. 😬 Thank you. 💚

THANKS. Haha. In an early chapter it was established that they just prefer their meat raw when hunting as a wolf, but when in human form they prefer not to eat meat that much. When they get meat hungry, they just run and eat whatever they can pounce.

This story is all tim. I just gave him a few suggestions and corrected a few grammarical things... some of which he took, some he didn't. The plot is great and honestly I think this is tim's crown jewel. Thank you for the clarification. I would’ve been surprised if an author/editor relationship existed where the editor decided who to kill of next. 🤭 And yes, this story is extremely good. The emotions are there in every word. Looking forward to more.
