This is an excellent point. I do have people who I allow to sway my opinion...these are my beta readers and editors. Not readers of the finished project. It isโlogicallyโthe best way to go about it. And finishing a story before a regular reader reads it is the easiest way to remove any sort of influence. I still didnโt do it. ๐ But I probably will for future stories, even future installments to this first one. You still have to teach me how to ignore a garbage comment and not let it get to me. ๐ฌ -

I'm so proud of him for finally making decisions and assuming the role. At times he felt like someone just along for the ride, but I knew weโd get here. And yeah, proud of him. Heโs my original character, the first person I invented. And now heโs alive. ๐ -

You know me by now. It will be complicated. But then again, we have the druids back. Their original idea was to send them to Labirinthoset. Letโs see what new information they gathered since then and if they know how deep the rabbit hole went in there. ๐๐ -

He also very much enjoys Daveโs reaction when he plays alpha. ๐ Iโm sorry it took so long. I did such a thing early on once I think when I โsummarizedโ everything that had transpired after Mark arrived at the Lunar Haven. Luna and Fiona needed to know, and I had to seize the opportunity. You have no idea how my head is dealing with this. I have graphs and diagrams and I might print them and put them on a wall. ๐ Druids and werewolves are a good combo. Youโll see. This story is still a werewolf story, albeit a really really strange one. Weโre back at the Belcore Pack, and they are the center of it all, for reasons that will become apparent. ๐ I have not! But it is now on my list. I have many books on Norse and Greek mythology. Inspirations from Asian mythologies I usually cross-reference from video games I play (itโs odd, I know). And Egyptian mythology is something new to me, but ever since Stargate, I just knew I had to work it into a storyโit is the most fascinating to me. Thank you for your comments. ๐ -

I chuckled at this. I mean, isn't that what stories do? How can you tell a story without basically, stringing them along. Do they want point form notes on a single page? If thereโs a balance between answering questions vs opening new ones, I definitely fall on the side of confusion. To me it was just an insanely good self-check, because I am posting as I go along. Couldโve easily let myself be swayed and change things. I did not. Proud of myself. It remains my story to tell. ๐ I donโt attract as much off the rails commentary as you do. Far from it. ๐คช But you are completely right, if you donโt engage with your readers, you fail to get the whole point of this site. -
โNothing surprises me anymore,โ Dave said, his nonchalance evident. I was unable to contain my amusement and chuckled. Mark stood there, shrugging toward Sebastian. โI guessโฆ welcome to the club, honey?โ โSeriously, how could I have been so clueless? Honey, again? Weโre going to have words, Mark! Words!โ I tried to pout. I failed. But how quickly the mood could changeโฆ โGrey, you ignored him for yearsโฆโ Sebastian said. That stung. I growled. And it made Sebastian wh

A writer must control the story. Period. But itโs so hard at times. For many reasonsโฆ Reader comments influence me, greatly. They are my motivation to write, but other times they can kill my motivation to write completely. I donโt let them derail what Iโm ultimately about to tell however, my outlineโrough as it may beโis fixed. From the early chapters in my first story ever to see the light of day, I have had people be upset at me for stringing them along, creating more questions than answers. This was the hardest. I had to curb my desire to please them and derail my story, as it wouldโve killed the whole concept. The only ones who derailed me so far are my characters themselves. They live rent-free in my head, and thereโs a certain character I never thought would amount to much, yet he ultimately became my favorite. Reader sentiment seemed to agree with me, so I was happy about that. It boils down to motivation for me, and reader engagement gives me that. I adore those that can write a story in solitude. Maybe I will get there some day with my next story, simply as an experiment to remove the distraction and to see what works better for me. -
Now, I know, why posting the previous chapter took you so long: Domesticating two wolves and finding someone on Grindr to test best sizes with simply takes some time. Appreciate the effort, though!

Alaskan King bed then? XD The whole house would fit in it. But thank you, now I had to google bed sized that are available in the United States. I can confidently say that 4 men fit in my bed though. Hmm. Thank you for reading and commenting, @Geemeedee ๐

I look at numbers too much and agree I shouldnโt. But what I really do appreciate is the comments, because it brings a human factor back in. Makes me feel like I am writing for someone, and not just for myself and into the void. I crave human connection :f You too. I hope everyone gets the kind of weather they wish for. ๐

Grey is finally starting to make decisions. If they are the right ones, we will have to find out. He simply trusts Mark over the stranger who has lied to them, at least by omission. ๐

You're one of them ๐๐

But this isn't the Neverending Story, I'm sensing here, is it? You edited an additional comment in there, so I had to respond again Answer: Hm. No.

It'll all come full circle in the end. I hope? You are closer to answers than you think Iโm really messed up in the head I think. Thank you! I really enjoyed the smaller moments, like the four men ending up in bed together. I think everyone deserves a reprieve now.

Letโs see just how deep the rabbit hole goesโฆ...

Because instead of rewriting a significant and important part of my upcoming chapter, I have: Written a poem. Watered my plants. Precooked some food for next week. Done laundry. Trimmed my eyebrows (donโt ask). Watched hours of idiots on YouTube failing to properly drive a car. Help!
