  1. That is an awesome compliment ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ’œ
  2. I hope your day somehow improves.
  3. This is an excellent point. I do have people who I allow to sway my opinion...these are my beta readers and editors. Not readers of the finished project. It isโ€”logicallyโ€”the best way to go about it. And finishing a story before a regular reader reads it is the easiest way to remove any sort of influence. I still didnโ€™t do it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But I probably will for future stories, even future installments to this first one. You still have to teach me how to ignore a garbage comment and not let it get to me. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  4. Reprieve. And a good normal bed again after a while. And yup, theyโ€™ll need each other soon enough. ๐Ÿ’™
  5. I'm so proud of him for finally making decisions and assuming the role. At times he felt like someone just along for the ride, but I knew weโ€™d get here. And yeah, proud of him. Heโ€™s my original character, the first person I invented. And now heโ€™s alive. ๐Ÿ’š
  6. You know me by now. It will be complicated. But then again, we have the druids back. Their original idea was to send them to Labirinthoset. Letโ€™s see what new information they gathered since then and if they know how deep the rabbit hole went in there. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’™
  7. He also very much enjoys Daveโ€™s reaction when he plays alpha. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ Iโ€™m sorry it took so long. I did such a thing early on once I think when I โ€œsummarizedโ€ everything that had transpired after Mark arrived at the Lunar Haven. Luna and Fiona needed to know, and I had to seize the opportunity. You have no idea how my head is dealing with this. I have graphs and diagrams and I might print them and put them on a wall. ๐Ÿ˜… Druids and werewolves are a good combo. Youโ€™ll see. This story is still a werewolf story, albeit a really really strange one. Weโ€™re back at the Belcore Pack, and they are the center of it all, for reasons that will become apparent. ๐Ÿ I have not! But it is now on my list. I have many books on Norse and Greek mythology. Inspirations from Asian mythologies I usually cross-reference from video games I play (itโ€™s odd, I know). And Egyptian mythology is something new to me, but ever since Stargate, I just knew I had to work it into a storyโ€”it is the most fascinating to me. Thank you for your comments. ๐Ÿ’œ
  8. I chuckled at this. I mean, isn't that what stories do? How can you tell a story without basically, stringing them along. Do they want point form notes on a single page? If thereโ€™s a balance between answering questions vs opening new ones, I definitely fall on the side of confusion. To me it was just an insanely good self-check, because I am posting as I go along. Couldโ€™ve easily let myself be swayed and change things. I did not. Proud of myself. It remains my story to tell. ๐Ÿ’™ I donโ€™t attract as much off the rails commentary as you do. Far from it. ๐Ÿคช But you are completely right, if you donโ€™t engage with your readers, you fail to get the whole point of this site.
  9. โ€œNothing surprises me anymore,โ€ Dave said, his nonchalance evident. I was unable to contain my amusement and chuckled. Mark stood there, shrugging toward Sebastian. โ€œI guessโ€ฆ welcome to the club, honey?โ€ โ€œSeriously, how could I have been so clueless? Honey, again? Weโ€™re going to have words, Mark! Words!โ€ I tried to pout. I failed. But how quickly the mood could changeโ€ฆ โ€œGrey, you ignored him for yearsโ€ฆโ€ Sebastian said. That stung. I growled. And it made Sebastian wh
  10. A writer must control the story. Period. But itโ€™s so hard at times. For many reasonsโ€ฆ Reader comments influence me, greatly. They are my motivation to write, but other times they can kill my motivation to write completely. I donโ€™t let them derail what Iโ€™m ultimately about to tell however, my outlineโ€”rough as it may beโ€”is fixed. From the early chapters in my first story ever to see the light of day, I have had people be upset at me for stringing them along, creating more questions than answers. This was the hardest. I had to curb my desire to please them and derail my story, as it wouldโ€™ve killed the whole concept. The only ones who derailed me so far are my characters themselves. They live rent-free in my head, and thereโ€™s a certain character I never thought would amount to much, yet he ultimately became my favorite. Reader sentiment seemed to agree with me, so I was happy about that. It boils down to motivation for me, and reader engagement gives me that. I adore those that can write a story in solitude. Maybe I will get there some day with my next story, simply as an experiment to remove the distraction and to see what works better for me.
  11. Now, I know, why posting the previous chapter took you so long: Domesticating two wolves and finding someone on Grindr to test best sizes with simply takes some time. Appreciate the effort, though!
  12. Alaskan King bed then? XD The whole house would fit in it. But thank you, now I had to google bed sized that are available in the United States. I can confidently say that 4 men fit in my bed though. Hmm. Thank you for reading and commenting, @Geemeedee ๐Ÿ’™
  13. I look at numbers too much and agree I shouldnโ€™t. But what I really do appreciate is the comments, because it brings a human factor back in. Makes me feel like I am writing for someone, and not just for myself and into the void. I crave human connection :f You too. I hope everyone gets the kind of weather they wish for. ๐Ÿ’œ
  14. Grey is finally starting to make decisions. If they are the right ones, we will have to find out. He simply trusts Mark over the stranger who has lied to them, at least by omission. ๐Ÿ™‚
  15. You're one of them ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’™

Thatโ€™s heavy. Such an honest tribute. ๐Ÿ’™ Scott found the right people in the end.
  18. Iโ€™m back in the Recently Updated section! Go me!
  19. Thank you. That really helps. ๐Ÿงก
  20. But this isn't the Neverending Story, I'm sensing here, is it? You edited an additional comment in there, so I had to respond again Answer: Hm. No.
  21. It'll all come full circle in the end. I hope? You are closer to answers than you think Iโ€™m really messed up in the head I think. Thank you! I really enjoyed the smaller moments, like the four men ending up in bed together. I think everyone deserves a reprieve now.
  22. Letโ€™s see just how deep the rabbit hole goesโ€ฆ...
  23. Because instead of rewriting a significant and important part of my upcoming chapter, I have: Written a poem. Watered my plants. Precooked some food for next week. Done laundry. Trimmed my eyebrows (donโ€™t ask). Watched hours of idiots on YouTube failing to properly drive a car. Help!
