I would disagree that Mark is manipulative There are plenty of authors on GA who are, Mark is not one of these. How do we know? Look at the diverse opinions on Will, Brad, Jeremy, Matt, Robbie, etc. To me, manipulation is forcing people to react to a personality or situation and every feels the same way. Great authors don't do that and Mark is a great author. Dom Luka is of the same cut. People loved or hated Rory and many other key characters. The GA authors who I see manipulating are the young authors or the lazy ones,

And Will is EXACTLY like Brad. They are two peas in a pod, always nosing into everyone else's business. They could be twins.
-
But he did do the whole paranoia thing when he shut Will out and "relied upon the kindness of strangers" and we saw where that got him. I would think once burned, twice shy. If I was Will I'd hire a firm to guard him and not tell Travis.
-
I cannot imagine either is in the works. Maybe Travis' sister and that football guy, what's his face, are behind this. Zach is certainly dumb enough to be manipulated into involvement.
-
My guess is Jake doesn't know Travis didn't replace Ninja right away.
-
My brain hurts. Who is Jack?
-
Well if you don't know.....

Love it. Legit drama. Thanks for the latest installment Mark. I appreciate the effort it takes to keep things rolling. But let's be serious. As if Will "mind your own damn business while I get involved in everyone else's" Schluter wouldn't have made arrangements to have someone keep tab on Travis when he arrived in LA. I know, I know, where is the fun in that.... Wonder what had Finn occupied? I do hope Will makes it to Durgin-Park at least once for some chowdah and lobstah.

Happy birthday Mark. There is ZERO reason for you to apologize for the pace of this story. Bridgemont is 10x more complicated than CAP. You have to worry about proper words for the era, historical accuracy, getting the zeitgeist of the era. None of that happens quickly. The fact that you can and do juggle two stories is remarkable in its own right.

Thank you for the latest and greatest. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like Finn. Maybe it is because he is a slut bag hoe, and I haven't like the slut bag hoes in the story. That would be Matt, Rob, the vineyard guy, the St Louis guy and his slut bag hoe friend. There are exceptions like Stef and Cody, but the Wade type are more to my taste. I am still hoping we have some future Wade narrations. Chip I am finding a little interesting, and I loved that one of my favorite peripheral characters was mentioned, Noah. I thought Will and Noah would have good, hot, steamy high school sex. I am still waiting for Alistair's cameo at Harvard. Still waiting for the shoe to drop on the hit squad, etc.

Maybe the Charles in Chip, is Charles De Gaulle IV and his great grandfather, Charles De Gaulle I is Stef's real father.

THIS was the funniest character on SNL

Right, which is why Chipper is intriguing. https://i.makeagif.com/media/9-27-2015/dLfyKt.mp4

Amen to that! Well let's hope not, we need more drama. And thank you Mark, both for posting on schedule like a champ and giving me the first chance in WEEKS to point out what a DOUCHE Will is. If my roommate told me he was into a guy, like Thor is into Finn, even though Thor may be TOO into him, not a chance I'd have any kind of sex with the person. I thought the entire interaction with Brad and Jeremy was so of the most brilliant writing of the series. We see the first hints of the Brad I remember from when he was younger. I like him being honest and vulnerable.

Is to, is to! (bomb bomb no erasies, no take backs)

Two thoughts. Jeremy never stopped being Will's brother. He made an temperament remark and DQ Will and DQ Brad (the acorn didn't fall far from him) have been moping like tween girls ever since. My second thought is, read the bold italicized bit above, who needs to forgive whom? Brad for Jeremy's one remark or Jeremy for Brad's neglect of him during his childhood while Brad doted on and indulged the Golden one?

PS Keen's and Le Bernardin are two of my favorite restaurants in NYC after Aquavit and Peter Luger.

The goal would be to mess with Will, not kill him or any such thing. Kidnapping is a bridge too far because it gets the FBI involved and in 2004 the FBI was still a highly feared law enforcement agency.

I think it bears repeating that Jeremy has diagnosed and treatable mental health issues.

Well you had me up until "Claire". I still think Travis is the target, but that mess with Will is credible, but not a chance Claire would do anything like this because she is butt hurt by Will. I think that is a marvelous insight.

Can't see where his siblings or mother would know Serbian crime families, MS 13 yes, not Serbs. I think Travis' first lawyer is a better suspect, or perhaps a fellow actor.

I love it, Serbian gangsters.... NOW it is a CAP story, not Will of Sunnybrook Farm. Thanks Mark for another on time posting, I appreciate how hard that can be. But why doesn't Brad buy an NY apartment, given the amount of time he spends there? Or Stef with his fashion interests? Lord knows they can both afford it.

Harvey Weinstein has nuts, just not where most people have nuts. They were "relocated". But nuts or not, Harvey Weinstein was a terrible person who did terrible things. Most of the terrible things never came out in court and many women declined to come forward for fear of being black balled (not pun intended) in the industry.
