Maybe it depends on where you go to college, but for me it was the exact opposite. You go from being one of the smartest kids in your school, and being well known to an insignificant toad where everyone was the smartest kid in THEIR school too and no one knows you or gives a crap about you. Berkeley had 30,000+ undergrads my freshman year and you walked into a lecture hall that seated 500 people and the professor had zero idea you even existed. Hopefully that is the point so we can a little more drama than being busted by your RA 🤣

My thoughts too. When I was younger I had what I thought were great FB only to find out the FB thought we were BFs and he was thinking about changing the curtains and picking out a china pattern. I was lucky to early on learn the lesson of communicating and talking about expectations and the future. Once even though all this was clearly communicated, the person could not stop from falling for me and hoped I'd change my mind. It was ugly when he realized how different of places we were.

The trouble is, and my criticisms of Will and how he skates by with his outrageous behaviors, stems from the fact that I have known many "Will" in the wealthy enclaves and environment I grew up in and still live in. They live lives completely divorced from reality and their parent's wealth shields them from the kind consequences a poor or middle class kid might face. Despite what the parents think, that doesn't help their kids. Will is fictional so everything can turn out okay every time, but that isn't the reality.

This is not a joke, it is dead serious advice. If comments on a fictional 18 year character so upset you, perhaps you should seek some professional counseling and work out why it so upsets you.

For the most part I never liked threesomes, but I admit in my younger days using one guy to get to the other guy. I knew A was lusting after B, but not me, while B was lusting after me, but not A so much. So I used B's lust for me to help get A naked and nature took its course. Will and Jeremy really haven't had that much interaction and when Will went to Norway to "support" Jeremy, it was really all about Will and his dick, as always.

While I would have liked Him Whom I Love To Hate, a chapter of the sailor boy is most welcome. I thought the conversation between Granger and Napoleon was brilliant. Some of your very best writing. I think you could have had a brilliant career as a writer, then as a producer. I have an acquaintance, far less talented than you, now a fabulously wealthy Hollywood mogul, all because he had one good idea and about four good scripts. But I digress. Point being, this was quite a brilliant chapter. I can't imagine where we are going in the story since there is no war, but I am sure it will be interesting.
