Will is also very big on honesty and Zach is living a lie. As to going to NYC, why would anyone stay with JJ? There are so many amazing hotels I'd never stay with him. If I planned on going a lot, I'd buy my own apartment. 610 Park Ave or 995 Fifth Ave would do nicely.

“It was hilarious. You pushed out power just like your father does, and that backed Mrs. Jenkins up pretty fucking fast,” he said. So what I am hearing is, Will has been a bully since middle school. Will will never be mature in my mind until he gets his temper under control. He seems ready to fly off the handle at any slight.

I can't see why. Zach has been a douche since he hooked up with John Hobart in Claremont. Zach has ALWAYS been about Zach.

Don't confuse statutory law and constitutional law. Statutory laws defines specific actions in specific situations, whereas constitutional law sets the overall framework for laws and governmental power. Constitutional law isn't really grey, although there are people who wish it were. Statutory law is very specific. There is no grey area when the law states 'no one under 21 may purchase alcohol'. Statutory law also lays out the punishment for violations. The greyness in statutory law is caused by misapplication, not the law itself.

God is going to send a tsunami to smite Malibu and Westwood to cleanse it of the fornicators and all wickedness and iniquity.

Or provide real clarity for him.

This Travis guy seems interesting......

The only difference between JJ controlling his trusts or not is if he lives like a 0.10%er vs a 0.01%er. The lifestyle is very lavish.

Okay, done ruminating. I don't think Fab being Will's roommate will be a good thing. I get why Will feels betrayed/hurt by Thor moving out, but I don't blame Thor. If you are a recovering alcoholic, you don't room with a bottle of Scotch. I don't think Fab is creepy, but I also don't think him and Will living together is good.

I think the person who should be nervous is Craig, the Foundation president (chairman?). The culture in the foundation sounds antithetical everything Stef believes in.

I think Will needed to spend at least six weeks at Le Cordon Bleu or maybe the CIA in Napa.

I'm ruminating.

“You always have to be difficult and get your way,” she said, Of course, he is The Will. It is the core of who he is.

What happened to Brad and Jake going to Australia?

Will does not. The best definition of love is "willing the good of the other". Will does not want what is best for Connie, even if it is bad for himself. Will, as always, wants what is best for Will. I also think people are seldom in love with each other to the same degree at the same time. It seems one is more into it than the other. Ah, well I think that puts you in the minority, ha ha. I still like JJ. I think the sweet boy is still inside him some place, but now I believe he has inherent mental health issues, not of his own doing. I don't think he is just a bitch, I think he fights demons he doesn't understand. I felt the fury flying through my body, the rage that he would bullshit me and tell me he wasn’t in town If Will were the mature, wise, all seeing, all knowing that so many of hes devotees claim he is, he would understand why Connie didn't want to see him. Will has anger issues that need addressing and I am not sure he is getting that help. When I was a kid I had white hot anger issues. The capper came when I was 12. My sister and I were in the kitchen at the dining table in there and she pissed me off. She immediately saw the rage building in me so she started to flee up the backstairs. I grabbed the nearest thing to me, which was a fork, I flung it at her (luckily missing), but I threw it so hard it stuck deep into the wooden staircase. That was when my parents decided I needed help to control my anger and rages. Now I am very JP like, rather unflappable, and it has served me well professionally and personally. Will needs something similar.

“Yes, but I feel betrayed at a very core level,” Stef said. “I have had employees fuck me over, but never anyone who has been so close to me.” Does Stef think Julian's betrayal is worse than the assistant who was a mole?
-
“Or not,” he said, and before I knew what was happening, his lips were on mine, I was responding, and I found myself absorbed in one amazing kiss. Dude, you don't fuck the hired help, unless of course they are a stable boy, then it is pretty much expected.

I will say The Iceberg is one of the coolest places on the planet, especially for swimmers.

I thought about this earlier. In San Francisco and LA, at the clubs I've been to, they don't accept foreign IDs for entry, only passports. Maybe because the drinking age in CA is 21. Maybe because the age is 18 in Australia they are less stringent on ID.

I alluded to it in my first review, but Brad is right to be worried about Will. He broke several cardinal rules of solo travel a) he bought drugs in a foreign country b) he flashed cash too easily c) took someone he'd known for an hour to his Four Seasons Suite that just screams 'I'm Crazy Rich'. He is painting a target on himself. And I love the Park Hyatt because it is at the end of The Rocks, has killer views of the Sydney Opera House and I can sit on my terrace and watch cruise ships come and go. I do like Mel-bun (well, that how y'all pronounce it) better because it is more compact, people seem more chill and I especially love the Park Hyatt because of its location.

“I’m glad you never do that,” I said to him sarcastically "Only, I, the Golden Child, the Chosen One, am allowed to tell people how to live their lives with no recriminations."
-
He was probably mostly referring to my clothes, since I’d worn gray slacks, a blue shirt, and a blazer, but skipped the tie, that way I was already dressed to go to the wake tonight. No one at a wake on Maui is going to look like an Ivy League preppie. In 2004 they'd be wearing Hawaiian shirts from Sears, shorts and slippahs.

I loved this in the intro: "Will Schluter. He just graduated from high school a semester early and is looking forward to spending the next eight months in the pursuit of hedonistic pleasure" Hell that is all Will has done since he was 13, sex, drugs, surf, jet all over the place in private jets.....

Chapter 50-Final Chapter
PrivateTim commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 50-Final Chapter
Hell, I wanna book with Nana as the narrator and we get to see hot, steamy sex with his Lordship. -
As I said, Will is an asshole. Does anyone remember the massive deal he made about Austin being made to feel unwelcome at Escorial? I'd think JP would be appalled at Will for making Brad and Marc fell unwelcome in Escorial. The scene was very funny. But it was also passive-aggressive Middle School bullshit; not the actions of someone "wise beyond their years".
