Chapter 1 A Chance Meeting
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 1 A Chance Meeting
Chapter 1 ?!?!? LOL okay so I use firefox, what can I say. Other than the soccer, the martial arts, the scene with mom coming around AND the use of Firefox, I am NOTHING like Jason -
Chapter 32: Head In The Game
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 32: Head In The Game
IDK about the pizza place but it is unlikely that Dean has abandoned all hope of getting his drunk on before the weekend is out. Hmm was that a foreshadow of things to come? Thanks . -
"Hey Tellerman," Coach screamed from the sideline closest to Jason. "Get your head in the game, or I'm taking you out." "Yes, sir," he shouted back. When asked before the game, he assured everyone he was okay to play. Now he wasn't living up to his words. "C'mon, Jase, we need you man." Davis gave him a pat on the back as he ran by. "We need this game, dude." Eric told him as they both ran back toward their own goal. Standing by mid field, Jason realized he was letting his team

Ch 28: The Crystal Prison
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Hamen Cheese's story chapter in Ch 28: The Crystal Prison
Okay, that Brian is in love with Adam is not news, that Brian didn't know what was up between is unimaginable, especially after what happened but that Adam would kiss him, is stunning. He tells Brian he thinks of him like a brother but then kisses him?? How many different ways is there to say GROSS Beyond that, I have this feeling something bad will come of the kiss. I have my suspicions that Brian is the one the Seer was talking about. Sad, I really like Brian, he is a decent guy - despite how much he wants Adam, he is still good to Jacob, much better than you would expect. Nice chapter, keep it up. Andy -
Ch 27: The Challenge
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Hamen Cheese's story chapter in Ch 27: The Challenge
Did Brain but Bruce up to challenging Adam and acting the way he did? I mean, at first it seemed as if everyone was annoyed - esp Bruce, telling Adam to come back in a year - yet they had food waiting for a celebration, meaning they already accepted him. Oh and what, is the the gay squadron?? Adam, Jacob, Brain Rick? did I miss anyone??? -
Chapter 13 - Ghosts from the Past
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 13 - Ghosts from the Past
When I asked how much worse could it get, you didn't need to make it so soon. He could have at least enjoyed the moment a bit longer before you thrust them into hell. You are wicked, and you accuse ME of being mean. Perhaps this is karma paying River back for abandoning his professional responsibilities. Or then again, who says Karma is real anyway. -
Ch 26: Lucas Barstow
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Hamen Cheese's story chapter in Ch 26: Lucas Barstow
Lord how embarrassing to blow up your room while getting blown This was a cute chapter, the two have finally come to terms with their affection for each other, with a bit of help from Ho-o but still. After all the chapter of Adam feeling the way he did, it was high time he put them into action. -

Thanks Monty - next chapter sooner than later - promise. -
Chapter 12 - Making Friends
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 12 - Making Friends
For someone not comfortable making decisions, Silver certainly had no trouble trying to lure River into his den. What's interesting is that despite all they did to condition him, he still kept his ability to read people. River thought he was sly, that Silver wouldn't notice or understand what he felt - WRONG. Silver survived by reading people, by knowing what they wanted before they said or even wanted it. I feel bad for them both - for as much as River wants this, professional conduct aside, he knows Silver really needs a person to trust and a part of him suspects - rightly so I would imagine that Silver has not processed this enough, despite Silver's words to the contrary. Even if they can be together, it can't be now. How much worse can it be for River?? And knowing you Nephy - the answer is MUCH! I trudge deeper into your web with ever passing chapter. But those will have to wait for tomorrow. Andy -
Chapter 11 - Taking Strides
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 11 - Taking Strides
Singing for Julia must have been incredibly hard for Silver. Last time he 'sang' for someone was with David. Julia might not know the full extend of his gift, but River must. For Julia, it doesn't matter, she couldn't have loved it more. Such complex vibrant characters, the severe Dr. Marshall, the bastard, drunkard Kevin who might not really be suitable for this work, the quick tongued, but good meaning Royna, the beautiful broken Silver, and the equally beautiful, almost equally broken River. -
Chapter 10 - A Journey into the Past
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 10 - A Journey into the Past
Wow, how incredibly sad that was to read - Silver's child like pleadings, even now, that he didn't know, were so biting. River's strength, to help Silver find his voice, while struggling to stay at a professional distance adds a dimension to his character that has been peeking out but never fully developed. It is clear he knows he is about to cross a boundary that he can never retreat from, but he also knows it is one he can't refuse or else Silver will never re-emerge. His plight is also filled with hurt, because he can't be friend, carer and lover, but to him he needs to be all three to truly help his patient. So very nicely done my dear Kudos indeed. -
IDK, personally i think this one is mighty cool: :mace: And then there is this: but I suppose you didn't grow up on Jerry Springer so it might lose a bit. This one: leaves me And of course I never mind getting this, or this, or this, Sometimes this when I am by myself I feel like And of course, this like to think this is how I am most of the time though more often then not I resemble But welcome a few days late and don't mind the excess of emoticon - Andy

Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Deans reasons, though not really well spelled out were that he's trying to keep tabs on Jason to be sure he is okay. After he broke down in his room before the pool hall and then how he was cursing and smacking the steering wheel, Dean is just trying to watch over and be there for Jason. Thanks for reading - Andy -
Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
BW - No I really plan to tease or play god, but seriously, do people REALLY Want me to spoil the ending? I just don't know how to respond any better when folks say this or that. Like you said, there is no 'right' answer for me I can say this - if it helps - I am making good progress on the remaining chapters after a stall so I expect to get er done soon. since I have few chapters left to write, every time I finish one, I will post an extra chapter. Fair enough? Thanks for reading, and the comments -
I think I get one Story review in addition to one per chapter. I think I will turn in my chit now while I am about half way through. As someone who is trying to be a writer - even if just part time - I feel humbled by this story and how it just pulled me in. Rarely - and I do mean rarely - do characters grab like River and Silver have. In a way I feel like they are my friends. Now I know people say that about stories and some say it too often, but this is truly one of those. The interaction between the two is astounding, phenomenal, incredibly emotional, thought provoking and real. That's a lot of adjectives, they are all apt. This is an amazingly wonderful story despite how heart wrenching sad it is at times. Yes Silver's plight is sad, but River's situation is not much better. In part he feels that helping Silver will redeem him for failing - in his mind - to save Nikki, both before and after his abduction, but he fails to see how this will affect his heart. Yes Silver is beautiful and desirable, but he is truly beautiful inside, something only River has seen so far. THAT is where true love is found, nurtured and grows for a lifetime. Beauty is skin deep and River's feelings are borne not of the skin but the soul. Denying himself to save Silver will leave him barren, and a part of him knows this, but knowing the pain he is setting himself up for, he chooses to accept that rather than let Silver suffer any more. It is beautiful and touching and sad and wonderful all at once. And it is such a tribute to your skills as a writer to be able to accomplish this. I do not believe I have ever been this effuse in my comments before, but I think this was the perfect time to express them. Thank you so much for this. Andy

Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Hey Nephy, thanks so much for this. What I was/am trying to show is how this affects Jason and his life - like I have said in other responses, Peter is in a coma. I could just snap my fingers and make him better immediately or I could try to show how his injury and condition affect those closest to him. I am not dragging his situation out, just to drag it out. I think this is how it would/might progress. I HOPE when it is resolved folks will agree it was a natural and realistic portrayal, but time will tell. Thanks for everything, I take your comments very seriously as I so admire your work. -
Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Someone once said, a death is hardest on the living, they have to carry on - and NO I SWEAR that is not a hint that Peter dies. I am keeping a tight lip on what happens. My point was with Peter in a coma, how Jason handles it is the main conflict at the moment. I am not dragging out Peter's situation, well not really and certainly not on purpose - but the injury WAS severe. One can't expect him to snap back like Wolverine. His fate for good or ill will be revealed in about 4 chapters or so. BUT just to allay fears that the delay is a sign he will die, one could also take it as a sign he is healing and if he were going to die his condition would get worse. Just sayin -
Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 31: Pre Game Warm Up
Haha, yes this was short, I know, but that won't make me post faster - writing the last few chapters will help me post faster and you know how that is going at the moment LOL. Thanks for all your help along the way. It might have been rather tough to read without you. Andy -
The sun was up and shining through the living room window when Jason opened his eyes. As best he could recall, he did not have any disturbing dreams. He felt rested for the first time in three days. Remembering everyone was still sleeping, he quietly went into the kitchen to make coffee. "Fuck!" he said louder than he meant to. "How do I run out of coffee?" Dean was sleeping soundly when Jason slipped into his room. He decided to go to the Java Shack, then visit Peter while his brother s

Chapter 30: A Night Out To Forget
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 30: A Night Out To Forget
LOL no, there is not story there, just needed a character and that was him - I just see him as a small city police chief. They tend to know everything that is going on and they respond personally to make sure things are handled right. As for Jordan, I promise to let everyone know what happens to him after the story is over - we won't get to the trial before I end the story - I will do it as a short story addendum I think. -
Chapter 6 - Making Progress
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 6 - Making Progress
It was nice to see a bit of progress for silver, but then at the end, there was that darn cliff - you just can't seem to get away from them can you? One question, how old is River? -
Chapter 5 - Shades of Blue
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 5 - Shades of Blue
Clearly River knows something, you are dropping hints about what is to come, but so far I can't piece them together. Clearly whatever it was must be really bad, if he has to retreat into himself into himself to find peace or sanity. Hopefully something blue won't be Silver. -
Whoa. That was . . . intense. That River survived that guilt not once, but twice speaks to his character. I just wonder, is he really as ordinary on the outside as he says, or is it a defense too keep the beautiful away so he can't be hurt like this again.

Chapter 28: The Price You Pay
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 28: The Price You Pay
Not sure if you read the forum post attached to this story/chapter, but 28 is one of my favorites too. It also is the one most closely based on something in my life - so it is among the most emotional for me as well. As for making folks wait - I figure it is better to keep to a schedule until it is all done, that way I can manage expectations to a degree. If I post all the written chapters before I am done, then I will either annoy folks with the delay or be hounded until I get it done and then I would stress about the quality of the chapters. So I prefer this method - for now Thanks for reading - and shame on your for reading the end first LOL. -
Chapter 29: Brothers
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 29: Brothers
Nope, no hints, just wishful thinking on Jason's part - and others. But there are only three options, he gets better, he stays the same or he gets worse. Wouldn't be much of a story if he stays the same so scratch that off, so either he gets better or he dies. And well from their, I am pretty sure what people will conclude - which is not to say I won't surprise you - just sayin
