    Chapter 9

Holy crap, does Granger ever do any work? And poor Caroline - half the fleet officers have had his ass and the other half is just waiting it's turn. When he gets back to England, she is going to be waiting for her 'sex starved' man to come give her the high hard one a few times and he is going to be all 'yawn' sorry dear, my balls are empty. You're a bad man Mark, but you are very good when you are bad.

    Chapter 8

Bell, Blackwell is a 'friend' of Dorothy - er Arthur Teasdale - they're going to naples - which mean Iggy I'm sure. That's me whistling 'It's a Small World." Guess I was wrong about Toulon - or maybe it is too soon. Nice how you worked in Admiral - still just a captain - Nelson before he got the massive statute erected to himself in Trafalgar Square.
  3. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 7

Toulon has the feel of a trap, though the Admiral and his staff seem to think this is a great opportunity. Perhaps it feels wrong because I know it doesn't end the war as the Command Staff thought/hoped. Robey??? Good lord Mark, you think the Royal nave was comprised of 6 people the way George is constantly coming in... er meeting people he knew or heard of. But at least he is still having fun - seems he has a dude in every port.

    Chapter 5

Opps quite the doofus, I posted the review for 5 in chapter 6 - oh well, no review for six then which is no big deal it wasn't very good any way Just kidding. TBH, this one is better than the first, in that George is older and more confident and seems to be making his way just fine and moving up the rungs.

    Chapter 6

An interesting start to live on the Flagship. Seems George has a way of landing on his tail wherever he goes. It a wonder his bum is still attached with all the action he sees. At least Wilcox is going to get his own. Not sure how in hell the Wilcox have any friends left. Every last one of them seems destine to be drawn and quartered at some point. You'd think the Admiralty would exterminate the lot of them - oh but then who would be the antagonist for poor Georgie if that happened
  6. Purpose: Chapter 5 is posted. I'd like to post faster but between work, the baby stuff, and trying something new, well this is taking a bit of time for me to get right. But it's getting there. Thanks for reading and commenting.
  7. Peter's natural tendencies are to be giving toward those he cares about, especially Jason in this instance. That is the dichotomy that comes out in the later chapters that make his behavior so baffling. Glad to hear you liked this enough to read it a second time

    Chapter 4

Nice to see George hasn't lost touch with his own roots. Though he wasn't a Middie that long, he at least had the foresight to feel the plight of Chilton. Sadly even this must end, and the pair will be parted with no firm notion of when they will see each other again - if at all.

    Chapter 3

Seems like there are a lot of Wilcox in the Royal Navy. You'd think they'd be a tad smarter than to mess with the Earl of Bridgemont's son. Who is Lord Chatham going to side with, them or the Earl? Not much of a contest. But at least George got to meet up again with Travers - funny how Travers keeps transporting him around and around. Poor Caroline, married a day then vooom - hubby is off to the true love of his life. so sad

    Chapter 2

Good lord, George is only just recovered and he gets it on with his old friend who is now a MP - which seems odd given how young they both are - so at 17 Arthur is in Parliament? Bully for him. Now Caroline is either a right cheap tart or a VERY dangerous figure in court circles. She managed to get her hooks into George and they popped each other's cherry just to get him to Marry her. But then oh snap, her plan only helped an even more astute politician - The Earl of Bridgemont. I hear wedding bells.
  11. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 1

That was a heck of a way to start the first chapter Ballvin clearly reminded George of himself when he was a Mid. War is hell, sad but real. Good thing Travers wasn't there, he and the Captain would be fighting over who got to nurse him back to health. Guess we'll see how George deals with being injured.

    Prologue

Okay so being stupid - or at least inept - I left the review for the prologue in the 'story review.' I actually think that is a flaw in the system because I know i hit chapter review originally and it defaulted to the story review. I noticed that happening in other stories too. So this was quite fun to read - I have to admit I didn't gloss over much of the sex toward the end. Sorry but there is only so many times I can be interested in reading about how Travers f**ked Granger or how many times he blew 'the great man' But the rest of the book all 12 pages of it was fun [okay so i t was a bit more than 12 but that's how it felt at time ] On to the next. I have to wonder if it is Metro friendly or not - If I had to hazard a guess, I'd go with not. LOL
  13. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 13

Since the capture of the Intrepid was as much Travers work as any, that should help his standing - monetarily at least. It also has to go a long way toward helping him prove his worth. Too bad they can't know about his love for George, because if they did no one would question his loyalties. He'd never risk being parted from that 'sweet ass' forever. Nice to see he can return to the HMS Randy as a real Lt and not acting anymore
  14. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 12

Captured two ships and gets a 'ride' home from Travers. Sounds like a nice little bit of luck. At least they didn't have to wait long before getting back together. I still feel like something back is going to happen to Travers, Life just seems too perfect for George at the moment. With the nation at war, well things happen
  15. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 11

Well back to unacceptable reading for the train I see Good thing I was at home for that. Seem George found someone to 'fill' in nicely for Travers. And what's up with trying to 'break' in the new Midshipman?? Ah well, let's see if war changes things for the randy crew of the HMS Buggery.
  16. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 10

Wow I think that might be the first chapter with more drama than sex - were you ill when you wrote that? And how come I got to that chapter at home and not on the Metro - that was definitely the most train friendly chapter in a while. George sure was at the perfect confluence of connections, timing and blowing - er - knowing the the right people to sleep - er - earn his way to a promotion. Sad about the Travers and Granger being split up - not a lot of chance for them to do the mattress mambo anytime soon is there?
  17. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 9

For two someone's being careful, that is not exactly being careful I love how he is not blowing 'the great man' One wonders where that will lead. Funny for all that buggery is outlawed, this ship might be better call the HMS Buggery given what all is going on.
  18. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 8

Okay, couple points. So this isn't exactly the best story to read on the Metro - gotta keep myself turned toward the wall at times. Are all the chapters thinly viewed sexcapades? But then again, I didn't stop reading did I? So what happened to George suppressing his urges when he first got to the ship??? That lasted what? A day? LOL One wonders what the Earl, and his other sons would think of Little Georgie and the Handsome Lt. doing it night and day?
  19. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 7

Love? Wow talk about a hanging offense - but good for them, they seem a good match. Why do I feel that business with Travers's father won't be too much of a problem for the randy son of the Earl of Bridgemont? I assume it was deliberate but there is a lot of Sir Evelyn in George. They both seem to care for the men. His handling of Winkler was sweet. The poor kid has no one but George did right by him and the other. One sailor at a time he is building his loyalty.
  20. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 6

Things certainly are moving along with the two - but I have to say this is the randiest ship I ever heard of Hmm must be the author. I liked the battle scene - you did a nice job of taking us into the depths of it without getting bogged down in too much detail.
  21. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 5

Uff, that was like three chapters in one. First he has to be a hard ass - no pun, which is something he'll need to get better at if he's to succeed. The interaction with Travers and George was nicely done, it's the cat and mouse of their relationship that gives a real feel. That and the jealousy - nice twist
  22. Point noted, I'll have to see if that helps - though he is somewhat partial to Purpose, so I have an unauthorized Beta reader in the house now No, it would be a short story about the trial of Jordan Colmar. I haven't gotten it going to well just yet but am working toward it. No fear, I have it on the list. I might also have a companion story to this in the offing but for now that's a pipe dream. Just ask your brother what a baby means in terms of time
  23. Sorry Sherlock Trevor, but that is not a mistake. Just because the drinking age is 21 doesn't mean she has to say it like that. She was reminding him he wasn't even 20 let alone 21. And yes that is how I meant to write it. The idea was given his year in college - sophomore - and that he was not 20, it was a good bet folks would guess he was 19 which is what I wanted to say without saying he was 19. But thanks for trying
  24. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 4

I suppose that is one way to get what you want - climb on top and not take no for an answer. For a group that is desperate to NOT be found out, everyone seems to know everyone's business. Not sure how they could hang one without decimating the entire crew. LOL. So why does it feel that now that George has what he most wants, it won't last or not in the way he wants? Guess I'll find out with time.
  25. Andrew Q Gordon

    Chapter 3

Well that was a chapter for sure. First Georgie gets his revenge on Iggy but then when the chance to return 'the favor' arrives he doesn't. At least he shows a bit more character. I suspect that had they more time, Iggy would have made George his permanent play thing. George to the rescue was unexpected in that he was/is perhaps the youngest of the men there and the only one to try and help. That will have to earn him a few props with the men, captain and his father.
