    Chapter 4

If the men are already on the ships books it would seem they should be immune to the press. If not the whole royal navy would be subject to any press gang.
  2. I thought the Mann/Wilcox bunch pretty much nutered themselves with acts of courage and leadership. Who is left without yellow stains in their undergarments?
  3. Another wonderful and interesting chapter. They may not be actual cliffhangers, but teasing us with the promise of what iis to come has given it an almost cliffhanger feel. Thanks again Mark for another wonderful chapter.

    Chapter 2

I really enjoyed his chapter. Helping with the fitting out of the ship and meeting some of he new crew has been nice. I am holding out hope that he will find his 3rd lt. still at the Abby and young mister Clifion will be going back to sea with Sir George even if he has to defy his father.

    Chapter 1

I love that Sir George is once again in print once again. Mark you are a wonderful story teller, but I think your style or flare or whatever it is, is greater with our lovable captain. Thanks for the start of this new adventure.
  6. Music to my ears!!!!!! Are you going to tease us with the title next?
  7. LOL Patients are in horse pistols or hospital even. I waited a whole week, I'm old (as in second childhood. Don't even think senile). Just trying to let you know I have not forgotten about Sir George. Thanks again for this wonderful series. Jim
  8. I keep looking every day to see if there is any news concerning something hinting or talking about the next Sir George adventure. Anyone else needing a Granger fix? Jim
  9. In other words he found a good cliffy!!!!! Jim
  10. sorry for the empty review or chapter 41. My fat fingers caused me problems and it just happened. You know I love this saga and regret it will be awhile until the next book starts, but and glad that there will be the next book. I hope that Winkler decides to stay with George, I think he makes the story better for his presence, but you have a way of opening a window when a door closes. I am confident that what ever happens with all these "old" characters will be add to the story in one way or another. I think Caroline in a sword fight would be cool, but not something likely to happen. I wouldn't be consistant with her repairing her rep with the upper class. Great job Mark, I look forward to the start of the next adventure. Jim
  11. i wonder how Caroline will take the news that the king has banished her to the country until after the child is born. I think it would be appropriate if the Duke of Clarence and the brotherhood had a little talk with Silly Billy to let him know that Sir George has friends looking out for his interest even if he is far from home. Can't wait to see the brand new ship and the old reliable crew together. I do hope that Jervis blows a gasket at losing the only nobleman that he trusts and likes. I know this part of the story is coming to a close and can't wait to see the opening of the next book of this story. Great job Mark.

    Chapter 39

I'm glad George tried to knock some sense into his idiot brother. Freddy has to really hate his wife to not have any idea what she is up to. Great chapter that gives us some insight into the deranged mind of Divina. It also gives us another young man to follow George to his next ship. As this story winds down, how about some teases about the book in this series. I'm always wanting more. Tomorrow is my birthday. (I'll use any nudge I can get).
  14. Yes, thanks bro, I appreciate your help
  15. I have viewed my opinion of sir George's rape and kidnapping in the chapter reviews, but I have a question about rating. I have seen a few post mention them and I support Mark receiving fives, but if I wanted to rate some story or chapter how do you do that? I hate showing my ignorance, but how else do we learn. I tried help and didn't find anthing close to how to rate a chapter/story. Thanks in advance to the kind soul that replies without making too much fun of my ignorance. Jim

    Chapter 38

Well, I can't say this is my favorite because it isn't. Unless George plans to kill his slut-in-law and his brother both, he proably should have let the kid go get the constable. Family problems or not that bitch needs to be locked up and publically degraded. I am sure you will not, but please don't leave George without some retribution on his brother and slut-in-law.
  17. Congrats Mark!!!!! I so love this series and George is a large part of that along with you excellant story telling ablility.

    Chapter 37

It is good to see George getting some time to work things out in his mind and someone that he is starting to trust to him work through his thought process. Peter has helped George see that until he assures Caroline that he still loves her and they can get through this before she will feel confident enough in their relationship to kick 'Silly Billy' to the curb. Now that they have a plan to allow some of their men to have options It appears that George might be able to keep some of his best men. I hope that the doctor and purser are two that he can keep. I think they help to make this a great story. I love this series Mark. You and your helpers have done a wonderful job telling this story. You make all your stories interesting and I like them all, but I truly love this one.
  19. Damn Ricky, I must say that you my an unique and a tad strange imagination. I guess time will tell what happens in this soap opera.

    Chapter 35

Caroline was painted as very good at the politics of court. Maybe this is her way of throwing Sir George under the bus for a little more influence with the Prince. If she really doesn't know the wags are talking and her affair is becoming public knowledge George should at least tell her the truth that he can't stand to stand around while all of London is talking. Maybe she will understand just how different her being a slut and George being a slut affect more than just them. George taking the children with him to the country makes a big statement. If Caroline continues with her party with the Prince, I can see there shunning her and leaving early. I guess it shows that I am a real Granger fan.
  21. With all the drama over Kerry's distraction, it would be fitting if he were the father having done the deed just before leaving to go to Granger. Just a thought.

    Chapter 33

Mark you sadistic SOB!!! Just kidding bro. I just hope poor Granger's mind doesn't become totally unhinged without a command to offer some normalicy and structure to his racing mind. The poor man has way too much time to think and we all know that isn't good for his mental health. I hope that when we find out who the father is, that fact doesn't contribute to George's mental stress. Of course, this new development takes a lot of the moral high ground out of the actions of George's sister-in-law and Caroline's disagreements. Caroline's indescretions easily show while Divina's husband wasn't away at see should she become preggers. Still it is the mental health of George that worries me most with so much time to "think" on his hands. I'm sure Mark with get George out of this mess with at least some of his mental health in tact or this story would abruptly end.
  23. I remember that now. I guess I had an old man brain fart. Thanks for spraying air freshener on my brain fart.
  24. Okay, I'm going to show my ignorance, but it is something that I have not figured out for myself. Why is there two captains aboard Victory? I know Captain Calder is the fleet captain and Captain Gray is the ship captain, but my questions are what are their responsibilities and why two Captains are necessary? I enjoy this series so much, this just seems to be haunting me.

    Chapter 30

Very interesting. Another fantastic chapter, thanks Mark. Makes me wonder why Lennox was sent aboard to be part of Granger's crew. Isn't that what most would consider a demotion? Although who wouldn't want to be part of Granger's crew.
