And I'm very pleased with this story. Your reactions have all been amazing and encouraging. 🙏

Yeah, I wanted to write a story where things are basically 'going' for them, instead of creating/dreaming up drama and difficulty. So the drama is in the background, with Callum/Megan, in a way, not the two in the foreground.

You're welcome. Though let me be more clear here - Callum did exist once I began releasing/posting the chapters. So he is also planned, once I 'found' him. So it's not like I'm writing him now, as I go. He's there in multiple jotted down scenes, that were written weeks ago. 😉

Planned. As you can glean from all my stories, I write in a scene style, more like episodic tv. I jot that down in bits/scenes, in a big 'seed file' as I call it, then weave it together while I pick and choose from scenes. The one I didn't have was Callum, when I began the story. I knew I wanted Megan, as background noise but needed a counter to it. Then, when I wrote the scene with Kai and Doc, their first actual meet, Doc wrote himself, really. The pregnancy wasn't there either, it's just a 'vehicle' for them to have their scenes in the background.

Chapter 19 - Adam I’d slipped upstairs when Kai went to greet the new visitor - this was all a bit too much at once to process. I needed some time to myself after making sure Megan would be okay with it. It’s not as if I‘m not used to visitors, absolutely not: I like receiving and entertaining guests. But I’d like to know of their coming at least a day or two in advance, so I can prepare. Ready rooms, get groceries, stock up, that sort of thing. In this case, the rooms would not be nee

And went straight over the head of the haters! Right? They didn't see it as it was intended - Adam is a bit child like in a way, still. Focusing on hate, instead...tsk...😤 😂

You should already know, because Callum has said it: Scribblyboy.

CHAPTER 18 - Kai I chided myself as I left Adam in the dining room, muttering to myself on the way to the deck doors in the living room, the cane tapping on the wood. 'What kind of an asshole are you, McIntyre. He invites you into his home, is bending over backwards to accommodate and what do you do? Treat his house like a damn mess hall. Yeah, come on over…' I’d invited Megan when she sent a text around 6am, telling me she’d been up all night. She’d talked to Callum pretty much

Oh YUCK! I never shoulda written that.

I'm just teasing. I think Sunday definitely another chapter. I got some advice, quite a while ago, not to post too quickly because people move on and don't comment, which is half the fun. Which it kinda is, I like reading all the thoughts and ideas, likes and perhaps dislikes in chapters. The guesses are always fun to read. Sometimes they're way off, other times right on the money.

Oh, it sure will be! I SO did not need to know this. 😷 LOLOL! They would! 🤕 He'll be wounded for sure. Possibly might need some extra TLC. *furiously scratches line* 😡😤 That he thinks about that, even with his own predicament of a Saturday lazy morning ruined. I'm not tellin' Anarchy! Total anarchy I say!

Sunday, actually. Ah, but I didn't tell you that asking for a new chapter automatically adds a day of waiting. Damn, why didn't I think of that when I began this story, I'd have had a backlog up to Christmas! Yeah, that was it!
-
Unfortunately not. I posted this chapter some eight hours ago and we are allowed one per 24 hrs. Sorry! Don't look at me - them's the rules.

CHAPTER 17 - Adam I woke up a little before 7am and, stretching, looked beside me. And my first thought of the day was, - ‘wouldn’t it be nice if Kai lay there now?’ I could just imagine him there, still in slumber, me scooting backwards and pressing myself against his warm body, letting an arm encircle … fall asleep again, maybe, for just a few minutes before rising, silencing the alarm so it wouldn’t wake him. Then put on a bathrobe, go downstairs and grind the coffee beans, brew co

In Doc's case, his actions will show his true character. You'll see. 😊

I think you're reading way too much into this. Though wordy, which is a propensity of mine, all I really glean from that is that he is traditional, wants a big family with a woman who challenges him. No dull moments there. Grotesque, you say? Depends on how you read it. 😉
-
Well...crap. I knew there was something I forgot. I feel like Megan, forgetting something...
-
You're welcome! I also like the interaction with the readers, it's a nice way of communicating. And they can be brutal at times.
-
In the end, aren't we all? Monday = laundryday, Wednesday - meatloaf day, etc etc. I honestly have no idea, gotta ask the writer.
-
I found some of mine when my grandmother passed, and my father before that, from when I served in the UN, in Former Yugoslavia, back in the 90's. Tiny musings written on postcards and such. It's fun to read!
-
Noooooo, not the F-word! Oh, wait...different one, nvm.
-
The fun thing is that while they do so on paper, they might not in real life, when speaking to each other. 🙏

This topic seems to be on repeat. 😂 It may be telling but - I've never written a versa. I have one in mind. But he's not in this story. 😉

Though this was addressed in chapter 6, where Kai counts a different number of chairs, I can see why you might read this as such. I assumed people would assume themselves that Adam did not include himself in that number of chairs. So I adapted this, just now, slightly. It now reads: Never more than seven people, though, eight if I include myself I think it's an improvement, since you were meticulous enough to notice it! Thank you! 🙏
