The fact that Chase wanted his father to meet him even on his death bed speaks volumes. the nursery scene was very important because understand the matter of Life and death crossing paths sometimes. he's a smart man and no one except Chase seems to give him complete credit for that. Danke, Nettie Poo. I'm really happy that you are enjoying Shades of Gray. I tell Chase is in for one hell of a ride and he doesn't even realize it which we will see in the future. Kaleb has this efect on him that he can't put a handle on, but as you mentioned the reward is always great. Helen is a little over protective and with Horace's explanation it makes the picture a little clearer, but she still is a bit over the top with it. lol And the children, Kaleb loves them to death, and is wonderful with them.
