Ok, deep breathes. What’s about to be born? I have faith in Sparkles’ insight, not panicking, prepared; as she knew to have Kohen there. So now, are we about to see a special Komohen Dragon or a baby Sparkled Dragon Boy? Or will we see the birth of...Kohen’s unforeseen abilities?

Ok, I take back what I said weeks ago about the length of your posts, how the short length allows time to process, consider, and reflect possibilities; this is NOT AN APPROPRIATE TIME TO REFLECT!! Dang it, CIA! Couldn’t you have given us a couple more paragraphs! Argh, one should not have to pace for a week of delivery; that’s cruel! 😤🤬🤯🤢🤮💩💩💩! (💩💩)! 😠🥺😩😫😭🤧

Caught Between Two Packs
Philippe commented on Yeoldebard's story chapter in Caught Between Two Packs
Wow, Riardin may be a werewolf but he makes me think of him more as a snake! The intention to turn the Prince, betrothed to his sister, killing his father (most likely), and now possibly killing his sister; pure evil 👿. I’m glad to see some of the events leading to Elias’ rescue (spinoff) explained. I hope the Elven army can contain and secure the castle but it makes me nervous as to the reliability of their discriminators for werewolf friends and foes. Riardin, is yet to be contained and I’m sure he will continue to be a snake until the end; hopefully the Prince can bring honor to himself and his reluctant pack of friends. -
Does this qualify as an info-mercial ? 😱

Omfg! I can’t give it but one heart without a comment. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️❤️

I think the communication has improved tremendously. Their time shared in personal moments is much more relaxed and compassionate; gone is the sparing and challenges to boundaries as we first meet them. The growth they're showing is relaxing into a more comfortable verbal and nonverbal communication. Aidan’s spontaneous slips are now with minimal regrets. They now make agreeable plans without the Bunny being tamed like a horse corralled and broken for saddle. So...it’s slow, but we’ve cum...ahem...come a long way!
-
Or did he? This is Heath, he likes the play end game. He also knows how Aidan will get spooled up if he doesn’t get him relaxed 😎. I believe Heath may be further ahead on this than we give credit. He certainly got Aidan relaxed and helped him find fucus...ahem...focus!

LOL, and the title of the song claiming Maurice Is what some people call him is...THE JOKER! The easy acceptance of life altering events, lighter intensity of something when focused on calming Kieran, it just seemed to also say Rhys to me.
-
Now the true test, will Kieran be able to use his animal / nature talents to calm the bea...Maurice? 😂 Also, interesting that even though introduced to the Pearl before, it seems as if the Pearl was ready to jump to friendly hands. It seems innocuous but is it? Even if the Pearl senses purity would it normally jump so freely; granted the current possession was a motivator. But even Ranevarger had been surprised before at how willing the Pearl was to allow Kieran access, now the present thoughts of Ranevarger confirm that maybe the High King was possibly trying to protect his Pearl for him... How much of this Lord/King powers should one so young (elf standards) have and when exactly should they come into those higher powers when not recognized or seated as a lord/king? Likewise, Kieran has only his adopted Realm and his human friends for support. Where are the lords/King? We only know the location and activities of two; hmm. Curious...

The Joker By: Steve Miller Year: 1973 Some people call me a space cowboy, yeah Some call me the gangster of love Some people call me Maurice 'Cause I speak of the pompatus of love People keep talkin' about me baby Say I'm doing you wrong Don't you worry baby no don't you worry momma I'm right here, right here, right here, right here at home Maybe the big bad dragon will be...Maurice after all! It took only two syllables to name that tune! 😂
-
😂Oh my, a little familiarity before space travel unattended might have been best! An interesting start for the introduction of this story.

Mine mom is 84. There is perhaps too much divide in that one aspect of her beliefs for me to ever have that moment.

Lol, cleanup indeed! I believe the negotiations have moved for a more balanced respect for diplomacy and individual rights; I hope so. Elias’ strong presence from intro to ?abduction? and the mangling of an attacker certainly leave us with huge questions of who and what’s at play. I look forward to the exposure of the such agents of the night and what influences are at play. This is not my normal genre of interest but you have my attention with the different elements of drama and suspense; an interesting story to unfold here.
-
Wow, a lot happening in this chapter but still a building suspense for the outcome of the maneuvers used by the two parties. The prince seems to have already expected the imprisonment claims and upped the ante by calling for a new leader to parlay with. Very aggressive in dealing with the arrogance and oppression of a apparently a selfish dictator. Where is Elias? And what really happened in that attack by the river? Who was the other parties involved?

"Oh, Miss Scarlett! I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' babies!" I certainly hope it’s a special baby just taking it’s time to display a spectacular arrival and NOT a baby in distress; come on momma Sparkles, sprinkle your magic!

Maybe an extra ration of coal, not that he deserves good boy status. 🤔🤔🤔👎 Nope just coal.

We could just use some of Jay’s hair dye...Rainbow Sheep! 😀

I’m with you on Charlie. Hopefully, the interaction and the subsequent reaction with Sue will bring her back stronger, reenergized, and more focused to help Charlie too. I don’t doubt the overworked and under appreciated influences can drag anyone down. I myself backed away from mentoring at a children’s group home because of exposure to people whom, should not be given control over children, would burn you in a NY minute to protect themselves; children be damned. I was powerless to bring change from within with my limited access. It was heart breaking to me but I was accused of improper contact with a 10yo child that I was not directly mentoring. I was accused when in the common area, properly supervised, and signed in for documentation. I noticed the kid that looked to my mentor child as a big brother had started craving a name on the inside of his forearm. I was able to patiently get him to talk. He was so depressed he didn’t want to be Ricky any more, he was craving his new name “Jack” on his arm with the point of his drawing compass. I inconvenienced the house supervisor by requesting his case worker get my report and by insisting on ointment/bandages for his arm. I hated to back away but I couldn’t risk that type of exposure to myself and my own children. All this was while waiting for my mentor child to return from work, he was late because the transportation by the home was inconvenient at that time so he waited unknowing when to expect his ride. I had driven over an hour to meet and discuss plans fro his transition/time out of the system.

As I criticize her character, and her compassion for Tyson, it is with the belief it is a convenience for her: to showcase her smart child, to display her musically talented child, to show what a wonder parent she is to raise such a wonder child; the same child with a broken heart, a broken purpose, and a broken will to live all neatly hidden or beaten (mentally if not physically) into submission. Tyson’s silly little games of life and death are a terrible inconvenience to her trophy family and her image. So my friend, you should feel very accomplished, Edith was given life by your hand. She is real enough for me that I don’t like her and I certainly wouldn’t entrust her with a mentally fragile child.😡 I think perhaps Cynthia knows and understands but needs Tyson to understand and declare how it’s unsafe for him to be under control by his parents. 🤨 You’re doing great, presenting us these characters that emulate everyday people in settings that are of real life challenges. I stand by my words that Tyson is portrayed perfectly imperfect! 😝 Ahem, the parents however have sold their souls! 🤑💩 I love your story and look forward to seeing where you’re taking us on this journey! Thanks for your commitment to follow through and move this story forward; truly.

And that explanation is mixed review, how can she be so strong and demanding to everyone except her husband? There’s still too much convenience to the explanation for me.

I’m with you on the emotions held for this story. What are we being held in suspense for that Bastian hasn’t been able to deal with on his own; will Mason bring the inter strength and clarity Bastian has been unable to find?
-
Lol, Borderlands. Absolutely, for both geographical and emotional transitions, it’s tough especially at his age. Super creepy!
-
Hey, courthouse, park...it’s a small world. Yeah, right!
-
I guess what I’m saying is, I personally wouldn’t change a thing as to do so makes Tyson too rational or too perfectly damaged for his fragile recovery from suicidal thoughts and actions.
-
I fully understand your meaning but that is also the beauty of your story. Life is not anywhere near perfect nor is it forgiving. So in my humble opinion, the fact that characters have flaws beyond the central theme makes them even more lively; real. Also Tyson’s assessment is very realistic to his present state of mind even though we know he wishes better for Charlie. Beyond that, the unvarnished truth is Tyson’s thoughts reflect upon that fact that even the system is flawed and doesn’t assure success. So this imperfection, as we may wish it otherwise, actually gives the story the reenforcement to project beyond the bounds of the main characters and nicely broadens the setting.
