Yes, we all grieve differently but we also have different sensitivities…and all that on our own schedule of what is right and when we’re ready. The sad part is too often we think we have to totally let go, it’s farewell forever. Even our new interest should be concerned with that expectation, as to what does that say about any future relationships when you’ve been one so disconnected that it’s so easy to say farewell…forever. Human nature is often habitual. It’s very disturbing that Miss Vessey is chatting so freely about tribal business with her daughter. If the mom knows her daughter enough to share, then the implications are that she doesn’t care herself. If sharing without knowing the habit of gab, then she is using tribal business and authority to connect with her daughter; either way, as a council member she is betraying the tribe in discussing the council busy in larger circles…unless cleared by tribe, yet, we know the intent was strict discretion and that the looting is a security concern. So did Pam really get the info from mom, or is mom good with notes but poor on securing them?
