    Prologue

Whether trying to force two closeted friends to be out, or be it pure bullying blackmail, this is a cruel and dangerous thing to do. One can never know the emotional state or how that person will react. That pressure could be enough to push the individual to tragedy. Such private moments captured when there was an expectation of privacy is just plain rude. At best you can share it with them person to person, while letting them know they can count on you, or that they should be careful as you and/or others don’t want to see such affections…but be polite and no manipulation. The story is looking to be either disturbing or hopefully marching down a path where discovery and acceptance is an ironic side benefit of the misguided conduct of what is likely a peer. This has an intriguing mix of mystery, drama, and possible a coming out or accepting one’s self journey. I’m probably already hooked…as I now clicking Chapter 1. 😊

    Chapter 8

The “shit” uttered by Hank, seemed to have more of a history of him and Miller than it being just a response to Jesse’s presence being known. Yup, on the surface Miller seems to be more linked to dark networks than to the official law enforcement channels. The reference to a lot of money being spent to find Jesse doesn’t look like a lawful process being anywhere near the area. I love the storyline being mysterious but now about to give us backstories of the players, which in turn gives me the impression of ratcheting up the intensity of what kind of exchange may be coming….the final paragraph tells much. The sheriff knows Hank, he doesn’t expect to pull one over on Hank, it’s going to get nasty, yet he smirks as if he will win…again? Stay turned as the backstory brings on the drama of the past with promises of an engaging future.

    Chapter 1

This has a nice personal feel to it, though sad. This is giving us a feel of their bond sadly ripped away, yet the memories paint the depths of their bond and likewise helps us understand the depths of his wounded soul. Getting out was wise, and his new project seems sincere. Hopefully it does keep him engaged and mending while somewhat honoring the memory of his partner as he immerses himself into their shared business. I see much room for drama, healing, romance, and maybe love; now where is chapter 2? What’s the posting schedule? 😇

    Chapter 7

Then sausage brought them together; their likeness in vegan taste was influenced by sausage.
  5. This is a wonderful story that reflects upon the growth of two teens raising their caregivers. It shows us neglect versus nurturing, but also shows the power of family, whether given or chosen. But growth is an ageless commodity with equal opportunity for all with an open heart and mind. It’s a virtual guide that could be labeled; “All You Ever Wanted to Know about Pizza Delivery,” when it’s comes special ordered with extra sausage.

    Chapter 7

Sausage is a necessity, like bacon, it just makes vegetables, or anything else) taste delightful.

Then it would need new shocks too, and the two 14yo would be learning mechanics too; or at least the function of shock absorbers.

    Chapter 10

Lily was emotional but only in response to Prof Asshat incensing her and being disrespected her family rights. His grabbing Lily prompted Jacy’s more aggressive behavior, defensive and protective. Prof Asshat is still the antagonist, as he was not truthful and denies the concerns of the tribe of artifacts and the family for safety while observing progress on their private property. Getting physically defensive was argumentative rather than airing caution or respect to the dig. Good for Jacy to quickly recognize the burial site. Hopefully Killian can get an understanding of the spirit energy and its focal point. Much excitement as the suspense builds with a rather open ended list of suspects being thieves and Fletcher’s assaulted. Then to find out whether that person is the focal point of the spirit anger.
  13. At their age it wouldn’t be unusual for a new boy or girl of interest to show up, then jealousy start to poison their relationship. But you’re probably more on track for the underlying issues, emotions, and bonds the boys have building.

    Chapter 7

Hank sure knows the way to prime those wells; he got two of them going pretty well into a full flow today, one yielded a cold refreshing liquid while the other released the heat from an otherwise overheating system. Lucky that Hank knew how to handle each situation. I think Hank is already working on gaining Jesse some confidence and dare say respect as a hard worker and his ranch hand. Any negotiations required will likely come at Hank’s discretion as to monetary or a force of nature…hopefully no teeth will be re-homed.

Indeed they are handy at times but sometimes you have to have a camera on the camera when dealing with the two-legged creatures of the night/shadows.

    Chapter 9

Having the professor being so pompous is not a vote of confidence for his administration of the dig. Any mention of contacting the university president or department head that is behind what money, effort, and recognition, would probably humble professor asshat rather quickly. But having Jacy there in tandem with is likewise gift new friend/student may invite…some insights into the spirits and the one(s) responsible for pilfering the site and endangering Fletcher. Either way things go, I’m sure it’s just a hop-scotch jump to another mysterious event or person; it’s an adventure already, yet it builds.

    Chapter 42

Some very good question in my mind. I would think Skai father, or…perhaps the original lineage of the Skai; do gods always have parents? Or can some be created more elementally? Either way, I’m betting Jacob is a rarity in meeting this god…perhaps the only one living these times so far removed from the original god. Which ask the question, could he be visiting Akuzio for the very reason you mentioned….Akuzio doesn’t have his, or the collective memories of the Skai yet? Akuzio is unbiased and perhaps remaining unprogramed for war with the Nave, which could possibly give hope for new direction from the god?

    Chapter 2

I think that was a very rash generalization of American culture. I’ve not seen the judgment or scrutiny in that same light. Some might be curious as to the maturity of the teen but if they are demonstrating maturity then all is well. I would say not all 17yo are mature enough for relationships regardless of age differences.
