Just a smidge; wait, who’s pregnant? Is that why he’s leaving?
-
No, I won’t let you go.
-
Put me down for a standing order on non-school nights.

OMFG you bring up a possibility, even though mom says Nick has been gone all day and rad went to a friends house around noon, we all know this could be brothers coordinating; even if thinking he spells for a bathroom break but wants eyes on to not lose the POS. So now you have me worried that maybe both are sticking their heads into the mouth of the beast.

By Nick following we’re shown that despite Corcoran being questioned either he thinks he’s untouchable or he is so obsessed that he’s right back to stalking Rick. Therefore Nick sees him and thinks himself junior detective.
-
Oh goodness, hopefully Rick can get there before anything bad happens to Nick, he has put himself at great risk, and it’s seems unimaginable that Corcoran doesn’t know he’s there, This could be his hopes, that Coop would show up, but this may very well trigger Corcoran into his more primal behavior too. So, Hopefully Rick follows his own advice and brings Helen and their trusted agents to bear on this POS before he too falls into Corcoran’s clutches. While the cliffhanger is a humdinger. It’s refreshing to see the growth in Jimmy and Shane, as they get to live more normal lives. It could be had to get them away from Tom and Beth, despite any bumps along the way, I think the shared feelings are working both ways. The boys still hold Cooper in highest regards and were deeply affected by the news on Corcoran and Coop’s concern for his neighbor boys. I don’t know if Rick can take the loss of another boy after all he’s been through and knowing his connection to it all now.

Are you saying that blue pill really works?

What? A Katz that can scratch up an apple pie? That’s not what my cat scratches up. 🤦♂️
-
The thought that counts…hopefully.
-
Just keep the cayenne pepper away! Flaming Apple Pie, no not a play on the gay pride of the apples 🍎 .

It does bring them closer…

It is great when you have someone cuddly to share the neck-hole with.

I’m no vegetarian cook, like pizza is vegetarian until you load the good stuff on it. Soup and salad would be a quick indicator of my vegetarian recipes. Although many thought it strange, my great aunt used to make a very tasty banana, cucumber, and iceberg lettuce sandwich. But you can’t make a BLT without the pig. 🐷 Does anyone know what a tofu plant looks like when it’s got a block of tofu ripe and ready to pick? Hahaha 😝 Just joshing as I know what tofu is and eat it frequently. It may be a meat substitute, but it’s no substitute for…BACON!

Some are good, some are bad, and some are ugly. But you have to appreciate a guy that can unload as quickly as he flips that poncho out of the way.

The age old problem has not been other than preventing young ones from making babies before considering the consequences or obligations they would incur or impose upon the family or community when that applied. The problem with applying the same principle to the gay boys is…which one does it apply, is it Davin or is it Joel that gets to stay on the camping trips when the boys have to take the girls home? Will Joel and Davin be allowed unsupervised visits to the pond? Are they even allowed to work the fences out there without supervision? So it’s not just a liberal flower child bending of the rules or not applying fairly. It’s looking at the fundamental facts that they are not subject to pregnancies. Therefore, understanding they are not of the opposite sex subject to in-discretionary pregnancies, the rules are different…for all gay relationships, it is applied fairly. If Lacey wants to have a sleepover, do we have to start asking if she or her friend is gay? Oops, sorry no can stay. Yet gay or not, she would not normally be allowed to have a boy sleepover…but if she and her male friend is gay, do you now allow that, as they are not boyfriend/girlfriend; so under that implied equality rule, she would be allowed the gay boy sleepover??? Having a gay child changes the traditional thinking, because if you apply the old rules based on couple vs gender, then watch out the curve balls are going to smack you up side the head; with a petulant child asking why your suddenly changing the rules. So is it gender, or is it couples, are is it just time to do the ostrich and hope you’re not a grandparent soon? I know I’m playing devil’s advocate to some extent, but I did actually have this situation with my bisexual daughter for a while. I think Lacey is likely to be pissed if she has to start certification of her and her friends’ sexuality…just because Joel moved in and Davin is now turned gay and goo goo for Joel.

Hmmm 🤔, we’re at nearly 200 comments, but that’s with several days remaining until the next post; of which @Krista is currently scheduling as approaching the end. NOOOOO! 😭 Let it not be true, I’d be more than happy to wait for more of “Another Best Year : A Coming of Age Journey with Joel.”

Most parents would have probably thought child services would need to sort Joel; home, psychiatric care, etc. yet Trace loaded him up and told him he’s ok, brought him home and into his family’s care and space; with a pre-teen girl and late teen boy. There’s been a whole lot of trust…just with Joel. Then talk about the twins, they practically live there…they definitely feast there! 🤣 So I’m not convinced, that all of a sudden, trust would turn to huge suspicions and paranoia over two boys that have feelings and may explore…the ranch grounds. Just think of Colt and twins drinking frequently before Joel showed up, Joel was surprised they didn’t come unglued yet they chose to let the teens learn in a safe place as long as they weren’t driving or being careless. I don’t see Javin being sequestered to separate rooms or someone sleeping in the barn.

Indeed, they loved him and welcomed him back; even staying in touch with my dad as if expecting another try.

So sad when love only dies for one. I initially had that too, but mine went through a phase of not friend…enemies. She fed off bitter ladies and a snake of a lawyer. He bleed us for thousands before even starting to move beyond discovery. She finally realized just exactly how far she had gone…with even a false claim to gift me one free night accommodation in the county lock up. Then she begged to keep the marriage as divorce was never what she wanted; she was just frustrated and angry…more with her life than mine. We separated; I could never forgive or put any trust in her again. We are somewhat supportive and friendly for family’s sake, but there are no real present day feelings. I feel that that person died and one of her friends wants to live in her memory. 🤷♂️ Trusting another is unlikely, I feel that it’s been removed and you just learn to live without it.
