That reminds me of my dad’s dear friend, tested as a genius, IQ above all others tested, he said, only one had sense between us. Dad also said he was the dumbest genius he knew, Married his high school sweetheart, first love, nothing askew. That was until a second appeared, then what the hay, He divorced the first wife, went with the second, felt Ok. Until he missed his sweetheart, then first became third, This was his final marriage you’d think, a fourth would be unheard. Yet, still intrigued by the second, divorcing the first/third wife, So Ms second became second/ fourth wife, he was living the life. Then came a new lady, strong and no non-sense, now #5, They did seem a true match, kid to boot, living family life. Many years later, still with 5, circle of life closing his queue, The genius took the long way, but learned what others knew. The sweetheart and her replacement were never his match, He needn’t have married once, definitely not second catch. His legacy; married five times, with economy of three wives, Woah to the social security agent spouse benefits divide. Marriage divorce, marriage divorce, etc. start stop again, Lucky for Junior, mom had only one stop with the man.

Nothing nature doesn’t already show on the farm; just humanizes it and the Puritans did not approve of such sins of the skin…yet they did have children. 😂

Yup, a common hard wood variety.

Having lived with the trauma of Martins vicious rape/murder, the event and then the many replays in his nightmares, I believe Rick probably has that protective nature to do what it takes to nab this POS. Though tough to consider leaving the others to the care of his trusted family, his overwhelming concern remains stopping CorCoran.

Hold up to, but it depends on the evidence that establishes probable cause for charges; beyond suspicion arrest. But it sounds like they only detained him based on proximity, nothing more. Therefore, holding without any evidence puts them at risk of excessive force, abuse of power, exceeding authority, etc., depending on local laws and judicial precedents. If they had anything that required corroboration or motives then max hold allows a higher level of charges or even confidence in bringing those charges. If dismissed they possibly lose the suspect and definitely lose the element of surprise, but also face harassment if tailing without judicial oversight. These things get quite complicated, right?

Both Lacey and Davin are working on that; different objectives though.

Do epilogues qualify for interludes? 😊

Imagining patriarchy insights; Ya know, this was never intended to end, we don’t give up on what we’ve earned…

Nah, we need more development of the new friendships and Joel not having to give up on his most consistent thing in his life; baseball. So show the acceptance of the whole Joel; gay, but who cares, former Tiger, who cares, the one that finally puts Jaxson in his place, everyone cares and appreciates it.

Yes, I like most teens, that phone is an absolute necessity…as long as they want it. But when it comes to the very thing that truly justifies the expense of the dang things they’re not important; oh, I didn’t want to get it dirty or I needed to charge…after hours of intense playing on it. 😖 They can’t understand the worrying, until they’re actually affected by not having it when Murphy's Law kicks in. Likewise, when my girls were in high school, I kept very number of the boy classmates. When girls go to their class parties, their phone are often left in purses that get tossed on the collective coat bed; are even it the girls keep their purses with them, they can’t hear/feel the phone ringing; girls are terrible about that. Conversely, I’d call a boy classmate and would always get an answer, never failed; so the relay was complete to either call me or a reminder to everyone that their city curfew time was approaching, otherwise they would have to have a parent drive them home after dropping off dates, etc. So no teenager wants that after winning their driving freedom. 😂 Yeah kids, I’ll come pick you up in the mini-van.; 🤣 date downer.

Back At Home And The Birthday Dinner, Plus
Philippe commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Back At Home And The Birthday Dinner, Plus
It’s not the new menu item, it’s the fact that it CAME at 30mph and probably a little gagging stab; oops, sorry babe. Like the monkey jumping around in the coconut tree, laughing at the ridiculous claims the ant was making that he could make the elephant grunt as he screwed it; he had mounted that elephant and gave her very bit of hell he could, monkey is beyond hysterical laughing and nearly falls from the tree…knocking a coconut free. That coconut accelerates to hit that elephant on the head with the full might from that fall. The elephant, hit unexpectedly in that tender head area and lets out grunt from the impact… meanwhile, from the rear area the ant is then heard saying, yeah, take that you big ole Pachyderm! Many a story is told as a matter of perspective; so take that, as Darren sports his pride and joy, oops, I didn’t realize I was so big as to hurt you, love. -
Back At Home And The Birthday Dinner, Plus

Oh goodness, I can only imagine the horror she must have felt. I remember my middle daughter freaking out while we were all waiting on mom to have a doctor visit. Of course, she clammed up and wouldn’t tell me the reason , but from the mouths of babes, little sister told me exactly what Mother Nature and her evil timing had done… We had only been gone from the house for 45 minutes, but that was too far to drive for the length of moms appt and we had several obligations following that appt…to include dinner, in a restaurant, with friends from their school. Her world was collapsing like a the gravitational collapse of a supernova. From the parking lot, I saw in my rearview mirror a small blessing…a Ross discount store. We drove across that road to do some power shopping. I told the older daughter to go pick out some underwear for sister and the check her own purse for the needed feminine products. The other two I directed to go find two or three pairs of blue jeans, that she needed more pants anyway. Meanwhile I went to speak to the elderly lady monitoring the changing rooms; I asked her to check for scissors to remove tags and a trash bag for the daughter’s clothes, and shared my plan. Upon the daughter’s arrival I asked her to guess which pants had to best chance of fitting…she was actually confident of all. Great, I had the lady check the inventory, cut the tags, and to remove the package wrapping on the undies. I told the daughter to bag her clothes and come out wearing her new clothes; ironically, we stayed in the habit of having wipes as the girls were still growing up, so cleanup was no problem. The pants worked out perfect, with spares in hand. The monitor went with us to the register to see us checked out using the labels and tags, then thanked me profusely for treating her to having a dad coordinating a daughter’s rescue and new wardrobe. She said she had never seen a dad come into a store to buy rescue wardrobes and do so without possibly hiding the items out of embarrassment and then getting much more attention. Ironically, my military drills had our plan made, executed, and back at the rendezvous point, before the wife had finished her appointment; the girls didn’t even tell her until we were back at home that night and the dirty laundry bag came out. 🤣 I love it when a plan comes together! Needless to say, I got extra hugs and dad points that day. -
Kinda like a sun dial, butt this seems to be a tabby dial…
