  1. I coulda swore there was a chapter five! When I started reading this story this afternoon, I was positive I saw a chapter five! Now it's gone. I love this story! I feel so bad for poor Miracle. His life is definitely NOT a miracle. So his birth mother gave him away after his father left? That's horrible! Not only did he lose his father, but then he lost his mother. And to realize that his adoptive parents love their biological child more than him is tragic. Why did they even adopt him then? He's just trying to find the love he used to have with his parents. He's substituting sex for love. And he doesn't even see Brad for the shit he is. He'll tell Miracle anything just to get into his pants. I hope Kyler can somehow warn Mircale what an ass Brad is. Awesome story! I can't wait for more!

    Chapter 8

I think James's sister should mind her own business. She's a little bitch. Although what James said to her was pretty bitchy. lol I wanted to comment on your comment to my last review. I wasn't questioning Patrick's father kissing him. I do that all the time to my kids; hug and kiss them and tell them I love them. I was questioning the picking up part. I think Patrick's father should lean down to kiss Patrick; not pick him up. That's sort of infantilizing him. Even though he is small for his age, he still should be treated like a thirteen year old. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Looking forward to the next chapter!

    Chapter 7

What a sweet story! It made me laugh, it made me cry; it was wonderful! Certain parts I didn't understand. When James' mom grabbed Patrick and put him on her lap and when Patrick's father picked him up and kissed him, I kept thinking: he's friggen' THIRTEEN!!! He's not five anymore! I have a thirteen year old who is under five three, and I can't pick him up! And I would NEVER put him on my lap! lol He'd be mortified! Also, when Bert the Bully attacked Patrick and he wound up with a concussion, the doctor gave him a sedative. I thought you were supposed to try to keep the person awake; that it was dangerous for a person with a concussion to fall asleep. Why would the doctor give him something that will make him sleep longer? And lastly, be careful of run-on sentences; you have quite a few. Also, when the characters are asking questions, 99 pecent of the time you don't use a question mark at the end of the question. Anyway, great story; I'm looking forward to chapter eight!
  4. Omg, the doctor is CRAZY!!!!!! Run Derek, run!!!!! But seriously; this has got to be a dream, right? I mean, what doctor would brandish knife smiling like a crazy person, in front of their patient? Holy shit. I'm also wondering what's going on with the jacket. The first thing I thought of was that Charlie had it. Would Derek's memory loss have anything to do with his "fugue" states which are becoming more frequent? Due to some trauma? I bet Derek goes into a fugue state now after he runs from the crazy bitch doctor! lol Awesome chapter, as always! Patiently (not really) waiting for next Tuesday......
  5. Ah, poor Coop. I know how it feels to have your whole life turned upside down, but for Devon to go to Chicago w/the kids is like twisting that knife further and further in Coop's back. Making them choose which parent they want to live with may be in Coop's favor for CJ, but how about if Liz doesn't want to be away from her mom? I think it's terrible, for example, what Chase's parents did, and separate the kids. I believe the kids should stay together. They already lost one parent, I wouldn't want them to lose each other. I don't remember if I asked about this in the last chapter: was "All Cooped Up" written before Coop worked at SMU? And if so, then why did they hire him in the first place? Wasn't "All Cooped Up" (the most awesome title, btw) also a little risque? I mean, I know not like "The List", omg, no, but still knowing Cooper, it must have had its fair share of sex in it, even if it was the straight kind. lol Wouldn't the school see it like they're condoning his behavior by hiring him? Then why are they giving him such a hard time over this latest book; just b/c it has to do with gay themes? Lighten up you Texans! It's 2011 for God's sakes! I absolutely LOVE Chase even more than I did before. He is amazing. I just hope that he doesn't disappoint Coop again. Coop is falling for him maybe faster than before. Ok, not faster, but Chase better not hurt him again. And if I were Winston, I'd feel the same way. Kyle will always love Cooper as more than a friend and Winston knows he's sloppy seconds. I imagine it's not a good feeling. He probably feels insecure and vulnerable and he knows that if Coop gave Kyle just a glimmer of hope that they could be together again, then he knows he'd be gone before he could say "campaign strategy". Awesome chapter as usual! Made my day to see it updated! Oh, and whatever happened to BHB's? You're not quitting on Logan and Co., are you?

    Sex and Sexuality

Wow, what a fantastic story! I laughed, I cried, I cried again. I knew as soon as Shawn heard Sam's confession and he ran out in tears; I knew it was b/c he felt he and Sam wouldn't be best frends anymore. It is completely different with a girl I think. There are things boyfriends can't do with girls, but with other guys (or other b/f's) they could. Shawn just felt that once Sam got a boyfriend, he wouldn't need Shawn anymore. I was a bit confused at the end though; who's Alex? A child they adopted? Awesome, awesome story! It was so well-written and emotional; really wonderful! =)
  7. Ha, in reference to your author's note at the bottom: you did awesome, but I think it's way too advanced for a fourteen year old. My youngest will be fourteen soon, and he could never write something so eloquent and advanced. And he's pretty smart. So....great job! I didn't understand the end of the chapter. Why did Jace get upset with Merry? Obviously Jace wasn't being as discreet as he thought he was stealing all those looks and glances at Merry. Why didn't he just come clean? What's he afraid of? That people will look down on him b/c he's with a younger boy? And wait; I don't remember; do other kids besides his friends know about him? I just wish he wasn't so abrupt with Merry. Anyway, great chapter! Hopefully the next one will be out sooner.....=)

    A Fairy Story

Hey Mark, I don't usually read anything "out of the ordinary" (I am boring that way), but wanted to read this only b/c I read something else you wrote and it was really good. Your writing is beautiful and so descriptive. I feel like I'm a fly on the wall and can see what's going on just by your words. Great job!

    Chapter 11

I had two awesome chapters to catch up on! Mike's an ass and so is Lisa and their father. I just can't stand these Bible thumpers who are so judgemental. They don't even know what they're talking about and they sound so ridiculous and stupid. I was cheering for Zach when he punched Mike. I hate violence, but Mike certainly deserved that and more. I just feel so bad for Zach. It seems that every time something happens to him, he pulls away from everyone. I don't want him to retreat into himself so much that he'll never find his way out. He really needs to speak with someone, a therapist, or social worker; anyone who can help him deal with all this shit he's going through. I did notice a few little typos, in case you wanted to go back and fix them: in chapter ten, Lisa waived, should be waved, and loves of bread is loaves, and Alex was talking about manors, it should be manners. And the last one was in chapter eleven, towards the end, when Zach was talking to his idiot father, you switched Zach's name with Alex's name at one point. Sorry for pointing them out; you can tell me just to shut up and I won't do it again.... Anyway, awesome chapters and I look forward to the next one. Hopefully Zach can speak with someone and try to work on his feelings for his family.

    Michael

Ashtrays, ewwww! lol This must have been a loonnngg time ago! Anyway...I'm really enjoying the story so far. I hope everything works out for Michael. I have to say though: yes, Jason was an ass. If he's engaged to a woman, then shouldn't he only concentrate on her and be faithful to her? I really think it's gonna be hard on her. Jason is gonna see guys he'll want to hook up with. What's gonna happen then? Obviously she can't handle it, otherwise she wouldn't have been an ass to Michael. And hey, I don't blame her; I wouldn't want to share my fiance either. (not sure if it's fiance or fiancee). Somehow I don't see their marriage lasting. I'm looking forward to reading more!
  11. I actually feel bad for Derek. I know in the last chapter I felt sorry for him b/c he just had such a convoluted sense of self, but now I feel bad for him b/c I know he truly wants to apologize to Charlie. I love the fact that Travis is protecting Chalie. Travis has no idea that Derek doesn't mean Charlie any harm. Maybe Charlie feels a bit intimidated by Travis or with Travis there. Charlie knows Travis hates Derek, so he knows he shouldn't talk to Derek right there. Maybe Charlie can call him later. I can't see Charlie not wanting to hear Derek out. I also think Sloan's an ass and should mind his own business, instead of making things worse. And now Derek has to worry about people wanting him off teams and committees. After all; he's representing the school and no school wants bad publicity. Awesome chapter as always Hamen! Can't wait till Tuesday!
  12. Wow, what an amazing chapter! I really think that Chase has grown up and matured (same as Coop). This chapter just proves it; he was the one who pulled back and stopped whatever was going to happen. He knew Coop would regret it and maybe even blame him, even though Coop started it. Coop would be angry with himself and take it out and transfer his anger to Chase. And I totally did not see Devon almost ready to pack up and move to Chicago. Wow, I can't imagine how devastaed Coop feels. After all, he practically raised those kids working at home, while Devon was establishing her dental conglomerate. Now, I can't remember if I wrote this in a review already, but if the kids don't want to go with her, they may not have to. I don't know about the laws in Texas, but here in Connecticut and Jersey(where I'm from), at age fourteen I believe, the child can decide which parent he/she wants to live with. So Devon may not have choice about leaving them with Coop. I also don't think Kyle should be Coop's attorney. I've always thought this and can't remember if I mentioned it. Isn't it a conflict of interest? Since they're friends? Anyway, awesome chapter! And oh, btw: what's going on w/BHB's? Haven't seen any updates in awhile....

    Chapter 9

Shit, I ran out of fucking Kleenex; I hope you're happy. What a tragically sad (does that even make sense?) chapter. Poor Zach. How can his family hate him? It's not his fault he was born; it's not his fault his parents decided to have him. It was horrible what happened to his mom, but none of that was his fault. What a horrible thing to carry around with you your whole life. So the lady who barely cared he was in a car accident was his step-mom? I'm assuming. Awesome chapter. I hope now that he was able to trust Alex with that, they can move forward in their relationship. Great job!
  14. I purposely waited a few days to read this latest chapter b/c I don't know when you'll update next. I didn't want to wait long in between chapters. This was a terrific chapter! Micah is so good to everyone; even with his anger issues. I love that he's trying to teach the others self-defense. I especially loved the questions he had for Ken, omg, he comes out with real doozies, doesn't he? lol But the best part of the chapter was all the dialogue with Patrick. You can see them getting closer and feeling more comfortable with each other. Patrick's such a sweetie. Also, the whole tar and feather thing w/Brian and his goons was priceless! What a great imagination Micah has! I really hope he doesn't get in trouble for this! Oh, and one last thing: Reese is straight??????

    Chapter 6

I really laughed out loud with this chapter! Jason is hysterical! They don't have bags big enough for Zach's dick, lol. And he's just so cool; he didn't care in the least stripping and holding Zach so Alex could wash him. What a character! I'm glad everything turned out well with Mark; he was starting to worry me! Great chapter Greg; can't wait for more! =)

    Chapter 5

Jeez, I had a review written, but GA ate it! What's with Mark? Why does he need to speak with Alex? The way he was looking back and forth between Alex and Zach, what he has to say doesn't sound promising. You better hurry up and update! lol

    Ch 20: Remorse

I was really proud of Derek in this chapter. He really seems to have grown up a bit. We see a completely different Derek. He is sad and remorseful and I'm glad he was able to break down in front of Mikee and get it out. Mikee is very insightful, just like Andrew. Of course Charlie misses Derek as much as Derek misses him. Just b/c Charlie didn't talk to him, doesn't mean he's not missing him. Charlie's probably waiting for Derek to make the first move, to apologize maybe. I still don't trust Luke. I think both Charlie and Travis should watch their backs with Luke. And Derek shouldn't be seen anywhere near Luke. I think Luke will try to set Derek up and Derek will wind up taking the heat. Awesome chapter Hamen! As usual! Oh, I did notice two errors though, in case you wanted to go back and fix them. You wrote Derek thought the principal was phishing for information. It should have been fishing. Isn't phishing only used in a computer-related situation? Also, when Derek was leaving Principal Walker's office, you wrote.....still unable to believe how Mr. Sloan, who was just earlier furious at me (should have been furious with me), was letting me off the hook. It should have been written Principal Walker, not Mr. Sloan. Anyway, sorry, I always pick out little things when I'm readiing when I should be paying more attention to the story. Can't wait for next Tuesday!
  18. I think Coop handled the whole debacle with Liz and Mike fine. There were many parts in the chapter where I was really laughing out loud and reading the lines over and over. Coop (read: you) has/have a wonderful sense of humor and I find myself laughing reading all your stories! And with laughter comes tears. Which I dd shed reading about how Liz is interpreting the outing and meeting Chase. Cooper has to realize his daughter's life just got totally turned around (same as CJ and yes, even Devon). Her normal is gone and she has to find a new normal. And trust me; she's not the only one who's gonna be thinking that oh, my family used to do this and when she sees other families, she'll be thinking of happier times when her family was still together. Devon will be feeling this also. Every time she sees other families going out to dinner, or to the movies and just doing things together, she'll be brought back to a time when she used to do that with her family. Every time she sees those asinine "family stickers" on the backs of cars, with the stupid stick figures of the father, mother, 2.5 kids and the pets, she'll be reminded that her family as she once knew it is gone forever. Coop handled the whole lake scene very well. And how can you blame Chase for settng up the boat thing? Like he says; he needs to impress the kids. You gotta do what you gotta do. One day Liz will come around. Coop can't expect her to jump for joy at meeting her dad's new significant other. When a month ago it was her mom. But the whole Mike got the groceries and hung around; wow, they both have major balls! lol After Coop waiting IN THE FRIGGEN' BATHROOM for Liz, she has the NERVE to let Mike anywhere near her dad! Balls I tell you, balls. And shit, the whole scene with Chase and Coop on the bed. I was in tears again. Chase is really trying here and I love the fact that he's the one chasing Coop for a change and he's the one adhering to Coop's demands. It's good that Coop didn't back down, even tho I secretly wanted him to say f**k it, c'mere Chase! haha And the "I love you's" always gets the tears going. Great chapter as always Jon! Looking forward to reading about the brunch with the guys. And yeah, Spencer certainly has nerve blaming Cooper!

    Chapter 4

Poor Zach. His parents are assholes. His mother didn't even ask how he was feeling or get any information about the accident. I'd hate to find out what she would do if something worse happened to him. When I read about parents like this, I always wonder why they even bothered to have kids. You can't play favorites with your children! I'm so glad Alex's dad and brother (who's a hoot, btw) are there for Zach and are so welcoming. Awesome chapter; can't wait for more!
  20. Lisa

    Chapter 3

Awesome third chapter! I'm glad Zach felt the same way about Alex! Oh, I noticed a little typo: when Alex went to peak under the covers, it should have been peek, not peak. Looking foward to chapter four!
  21. Lisa

    Chapter 2

Damn it, damn it, damn it! Where's chapter 3????? What an awesome story! I absolutely loved reading about the Halloween party; sounded like a blast! Holy shit! I just looked over to the left with the recent story updates and VOILA! There's a chapter 3! lol Thanks Greg; gonna read it now.

    Spider Webs

And what's with this new reviewing system? Did GA revamp the website yet again?
  23. WhewI I finally caught up! I love lyrics in a song! Especially loved the Knee Deep song! Oh, and it's the Zac Brown Band, not Zach. It's one of the few country songs I actually like. I think reading the lyrics of a song, especially like the Good Charlotte song, where the meaning is pretty powerful, can really set the tone of the chapter, or at least that part of the chapter. I'm really glad they'll be more chapters to come! I love all your characters and this last chapter and the chapter before were so powerful in regards to Joel and his breakthrough and Micah and his reaction to seeing his father. I was in tears reading about how much Micah blamed himself for Joel's inability to speak after their mom died. My God, he was only eleven and he's been living with all this guilt ever since. I'm so glad Patrick was there to support him. I love all the support Micah's getting from Ken, Elizabeth and even Avery. Him and Joel got exceptionally lucky when Micah tried to steal the Ferrari! Can't wait for the next chapter! I've been reading this on and off for days and now I'm gonna be going thru Micah and Patrick withdrawals! You are an awesomely talented writer and I'm looking forward to more.

    Sync

Love this story! I read all four chapters today. Can't wait for more! I did have a question though: if Dexter and Sam were online buddies and they knew each other was gay, how come they never exchanged pictures before? And if they were such close friends like Sam had hinted, why didn't Dexter tell Sam he was moving to Colorado? Shouldn't he have known which town Sam lived in? I mean, they were online friends for a year; he should have known. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!
  25. Shit, I'm loving Chase more and more now! I'm surprised at Liz. I really thought she respected her parent's wishes and wouldn't go against them. After they reneged on their punishment for that night and let her go to the party, to blatantly go against what they told her is a big "F U" to them. Imo. Devon's gonna have a cow. Coop shouldn't worry too much about Kyle. Kyle will get over Coop's drunken admission to Spencer. He was going to tell Spencer anyway, right? The thing I'd be worried about is Kyle being so pissed off he's not representing Cooper the way he should be represented when they go to court. Although Kyle seems too professional to let a personal fight get in the way of winning a case. Great chapter as always! Hope Liz is prepared for the wrath of her father in the a.m.!
