OK, I will try to wait patiently for the next chapter. I’ve been binge-reading it till I got to the latest chapter tonight. I kept refreshing the page hoping I would get a surprise & there’d be another chapter posted. 😀 I would also love to read about your other ending that you’ve written. And as far as who I think whacked Five — I think it was Ethan. I just don’t trust him at all. It seemed like something was off with him when Percy baby was talking to him, trying to let him down gently. I actually thought he was the one who took Percy’s undies from the hot tub area that day.

Wow. What an amazing story, @CasualWanderer82. I do agree with @austinbiguy; I felt sadness at the end. I really thought the last chapter would have Jackson, Cash, and Blake living together, but I get it now. Jackson and Daisy knew Blake could never settle down in one town, and I got chills in the last chapter when Blake asked Cash about Jackson not really coming for him. Jackson just made it seem like he was coming for him. I could also feel Jackson and Blake’s sadness during their Sunday call. I like to think that Cash is making the roof big enough for the three of them at some point in time, like @The Donling said. Where someday they can all live together. One of your commenters pointed out how there were so many metaphors and similes in the story; I also saw a lot of personification. I must say, @CasualWanderer82, I reread sentences multiple times because I just loved the way you painted such a great picture of rooms holding their breath and doors breathing and the air just shifting when, in the earlier chapters, Blake would show up at their rodeo in town. There was one line in particular that I read quite a few times because I thought it was just so beautiful. I’ll have to scour through the chapters to find it. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent, @CasualWanderer82. This is definitely one of those stories that touches your heart, and you think about it long after you’ve finished reading.

I haven’t been on here in so long that I forgot/can’t find how to wish someone a happy birthday. Didn’t there used to be a comment section or something similar on a person’s profile page? I can’t find any place where I can wish someone a happy birthday, besides the mail option. I remember years ago there was a section on the forum page listing members who had a birthday that day. Mrs. Gnomie! When I saw that you had completed a new story I hadn’t read yet (what the hell kind of rock was I laying under?!), I dropped the other story I was reading and started on this one. OMG! What a great story! I love Kyan so much; he’s so cute, and his kids are perfect! I love Perry too; he’s so wonderful to Kyan and the kids, and I can’t picture anyone else who would be so invested in Kyan’s life. I’m sure others have beat me to the punch because I haven’t been on here in forever, but I do see a sequel in the future with Max and possibly Reid (like a love/hate/love relationship? ) Anyway, I know the story is complete, and unfortunately I only have a few chapters left to go, but I wanted to stop by to tell you what a terrific story this is, Mrs. Gnomie. I can’t wait to read your next one!

I got angrier and angrier at Corbin the more I read of the chapter. All I want to do is slap him upside his head! lol And the next chapter; he just doesn’t know what he wants. He flip flops between boys more often than he changes underwear! 🤣 Seriously, though, thank you for agreeing with me. I just don’t understand him at all. You bring up a great point, though: I don’t want Jon to think I’m attacking him personally. I am definitely NOT. And yeah, as I read each chapter, I think the same thing: how much of Corbs’ personality and motivation does Jon have?

What a wonderful story, @Mrsgnomie! I absolutely LOVE this spinoff of Boss Nanny, and I can’t wait to start the Epilogue. You are such a fantastic writer who can mix comedy with drama with action with suspense…I just love all your stories I’ve read so far.

And the most power-hungry, self-absorbed, narcissist (I could go on and on) douchebag I’ve ever read about. All I want to do is yell at him and slap him upside his head a few million times. He FINALLY got what he wanted, who he wanted, and what does he do? He throws it all away for what? A place on the EC? Was it worth it, Corbin? The Brit was FINALLY on the same page as you, all in the relationship 100%, everything you’ve been obsessing over since you laid eyes on him, and now you blew it royally. Ok, so you think you were protecting him; I’m sure he did not think that. He was most likely thinking that you betrayed him and chose your little frat committee over him. Corbin, you will do whatever it takes to get what you want and sacrifice everything and everyone around you. You and Pete are still so young; you have your whole lives ahead of you, and who knows, you probably wouldn’t have made it past the end of the semester. But you bailed before giving the two of you a chance. And you would bail on him anytime something came up regarding the frat or moving up the frat ladder. And I ask again, for what? Three years from now, being on the EC won’t mean shit. But you might have had love in your life, and that is definitely worth way more than some Greek committee. Oh, and one more thing, Corbin: talking to your friends in front of Adam about how your first time with Pete went, was so not cool. And since when are you all buddy buddy with Adam anyway? Ok, I think I’ve said my peace. 😆 I’m waiting anxiously for the next chapter, Jon!

Ok, I had to log in in order to read a chapter of a story I’m following. When I logged in, I was not directed to the story. All these little options in blue appeared in a vertical zig-zag down the page. It wasn’t until I scrolled three-quarters of the way down, that I finally saw the story. Is this the new format, or did something happen to my phone? This format is very difficult to navigate. I logged in a week or two ago, & everything was great. Now I can’t find anything. 🥲🥲

What a fantastic story, @kbois! Omg, those twins were sick af. Jesus. I’d be afraid if I were Kyle and Megan; I wouldn’t want any of the Greene’s dysfunctional, sick, twisted genes in my DNA! As much as I love all the characters (well, obviously not the sick af brothers), my three favorites were Bruce, Rosie, and Tator. And I loved the short story about Lucy and the little monsters. lol 😆 It was very cute! I’ll have to start stalking your profile to see what other gems you’ve written.
