Hey Billy, I just started reading this story yesterday and I couldn't stop! The kids weren't too happy; they didn't get to eat and the dogs were growling at me b/c I wouldn't feed them......but in the end it was worth it b/c I finally finished all seven chapters! What a fantastic story you're telling. I love the developing relationship between Joey and Andy. They are so sweet together. I was in tears reading about Joey's abuse at the hands of his "father" and I use that term loosely. How could a parent do that to their own child? The "mother" isn't any better. She may not be the one to physically abuse Joey, but her turning the other way is just as bad. Poor Joey grew up not knowing love; not knowing what real parents are supposed to be like. I'm just glad he found Andy when he did. Andy saved his life. I look forward to the next chapter Billy!

Well, I'm glad Andrew decided to talk to Brian. Brian is turning out to be the best friend Andrew needs. Hopefully he'll be able to share the rest of his past with him. That's horrible about his mom having lung cancer (I know what that's like first-hand, and the second hand smoke which I grew up with. Disgusting). I'm really curious about what botched up the operation and why Andrew can't participate in gym. Great chapter! Looking forward to the next one!

When Chase showed up I had a feeling Kyle called him. But I didn't even know Kyle had his number! And WHY would Kyle have his number? I'm actually surprised, pleasantly surprised though. Is Kyle putting his feelings for Coop aside so Coop can bask in Chase's glow? lol Oh, and Brit is a bitch. She shouldn't have come in the first place. She knew damned well Coop was going to be there. Why would she think otherwise? If she couldn't handle seeing her bff's soon-to-be-ex, then she should have stayed home. Coop is right; it's not fair to Bass to make him choose between her and his friends, mainly Coop. I mean, I understand where she's coming from. If my bff's husband did what Coop did, I wouldn't want to be in the same room with him either. So I wouldn't have gone to the event. Simple as that. But don't make your husband choose between his best friends and you. Oh, a thought just occured to me: how did Chase get Mike's number (or Brit's number) to call Mike? Obviously he didn't call Bass, since Bass was surprised he was there. I loved reading about Kyle's match. The way you wrote it sounds just like all the wrestling matches I watch. I've been watching my kids wrestle for twelve years now and I STILL don't know all the moves and the names of the positions, so I understand how Coop feels! lol I was proud of CJ for sticking up for his dad when that other kid was making fun of him and Chase. Even though violence isn't the answer; it just goes to show how much he loves his dad. And as far as Chase is concerned; I'd be jealous too if he picked up and took off every time Morgan got a hangnail. Enough is enough; he has to learn to let Morgan go. He's just enabling him and LETTING him be dependant on Chase. Morgan needs to survive in this world w/o Chase, but Chase keeps running to him, supporting him, etc. Morgan will NEVER get out of Chase's life if Chase keeps enabling him. Morgan is a user; a mooch. He's living off Chase for free and he will always be a thorn in Coop's side b/c he will never leave. Coop will always feel threatened by him b/c he knows he will never have 100 percent of Chase; there will be a part, albeit a little part, but a part nontheless, that will always belong to Morgan. Chase needs to let him go. It's like the ex-wife always hanging around or calling up about the kids b/c she doesn't want to let go of her husband. Morgan is the same way. Why would he want to let go of Chase? He'll always be around unless Chase refuses him. Ok, awesome chapter Jon! Can't wait for the next! Hope I didn't leave out anything! lol

What an amazing story! I keep wanting to smack Quinn upside his head for all the stupid shit he's pulled. But then I just want to give him a hug and tell him everything will be ok. lol I can't believe he did that to Cameron in the locker room. I was horrified when I read it. He was acting like a psycho. And he's wondering why Cameron doesn't want to be his friend? Duh! I think Quinn's mom is so cool. His dad's a major prick, but at least he has his mom on his side. Anyway, awesome story! I can't wait for the next chapter!

Jeez, why is Andrew such a bitch? Seriously. People are just trying to be friendly. And why does he have so much anger? Especially towards Brian? Brian seems so nice. Andrew talks about being lonely and how he covers it up, but the lonliness can tear him apart. Well, having friends does take away SOME lonliness; why doesn't he try it some day? Wow, those two chapters were very powerful. I could feel Noel's emotions, his confusion over what he was feeling for Adrian. I don't understand Adrian though. Ok, he didn't push Noel off him and seemed to respond to him and I understand that a negative reaction could have definitely been delayed, but he's leaving after being best friends with Noel and all Noel gets is a "goodbye Noel." That's it????? (sorry for the run-on-sentence!) Ok, I know thirteen year olds don't want to be overly emotional and whatnot, but seriously, just goodbye. I'd be heartbroken if I were Noel, even if I didn't feel like I was in love with him. That was one lame goodbye. I was shocked when Noel's parents took him home from the hospital. The nurses (and I'm assuming the doctor) suggested he stay overnight for observation or something. Noel said no, so his parents just took him home????? I have a thirteen year old and would NEVER leave it up to him to decide if he's staying in the hospital or going home! His parents should have been adamant about him staying in the hospital! Omg, Kevin's a keeper! Don't let him go Andrew, and if you're stupid enough to do that, then for God's sakes, send him my way! lol Kevin is really an angel, to do all that for a guy he doens't know anything about. Wow, awesome that you update so quickly! I was about to read this chapter when I noticed another one up! Andrew is so lucky Chaz found him; he definitely would not have survived the night. Kevin was really nice to carry him to his house. Sounds llike a beautiful house, right on the beach. I noticed a few errors, if you don't mind me pointing them out. Just in case you wanted to go back and fix them: I've noticed since the first chapter that you don't like apostrophes! lol For example, Andrews wine or Kevins house should be Andrew's wine and Kevin's house b/c the wine belongs to Andrew and the house belongs to Kevin. You always use apostrophes in cases where you're talking about possession. Did that make sense? Also, when Kevin told Chaz to stop barking you wrote that he quick barking. I think you meant quit barking. Also (and I've noticed this is past chapters) you use David's name when you mean Andrew's. For example, when Kevin picked Andrew up off the beach, you wrote David wrapped his arms around his neck, but you meant Andrew wrapped his arms around his neck. Anyway, I don't mean to offend you. I absolutely LOVE this story. Just wanted to point out a few things. If it bothers you just tell me to shut up. Ok, on to chapter five!

I love how you write. I can feel Andrew's pain through your words. I was crying along with him when Diane was comforting him. It'll take time, but eventually Andrew will feel better about himself. And then maybe he'll take out that napkin! lol I look forward to the next chapter! Great job!

Boy have I missed you Jon!!!!! And of course Coop, Chase, etal....welcome back to the land of the internet! lol Hope all is better with your computer. Well, Morgan is a manipulative little beyotch, isn't he? I don't believe for a second that there's something wrong and he's strung out or stoned. He just did that to get Chase back. That lying sack of shit. He's using Chase; can't Chase see this? Chase is gonna pay for his rehab, he pays for him flying back and forth, and lord knows what else he pays for out in LA. Morgan's a mooch. Chase needs to open his eyes and smell the vino. Chase and Coop will never be 'alone' as long as Morgan's still in the picture. Now, on to CJ: no more Mountain Dew for him unless Coop is against grandchildren. Old news: Mountain Dew lowers sperm count. Anyway, glad that CJ and Chase are getting along. I tell you; CJ's a great kid; he's friendly, talkative, helpful and he has a good sense of humor. Not all thirteen/almost fourteen year olds are like that. I know; I live with one. I can't believe CJ got the feeling that his dad didn't want him or Liz. Where the heck did he get that from? Coop has been trying to fight the whole custody thing since day one. And thank you Coop! I am so glad he's insisting the kids stay together. And I get the feeling that even though he says he'll be good with seeing them once or twice a month if they choose their mom, it won't be as easy. CJ has his karate, Liz has cheerleading. These happen on the weekends. Unless Coop flies up there every other weekend, I don't see them coming down much. Maybe it's the pessimist in me, but the weekends are the only time the kids get to hang out with their friends also. And Liz will start dating; she's not gonna want to go back to Texas and ruin her plans with friends/boyfriends. They're not little kids anymore; they have their own lives. I think it's gonna be really hard to stick with a visitation schedule once they move. That's also from my personal experience. And that was within driving distance, not a plane ride away. lol My 'Cooper' doesn't see the kids as much now as he did when they were little. I think Cooper is in for a rude awakening. As for him not taking Chase to Kyle's big announcement, that's good. As Spencer said; it's Kyle's night. Cooper shouldn't be shoving Chase down his throat so quickly. He needs to remember that Kyle is still in love with him. He needs to remember that he is Kyle's Chase. Anyway, awesome chapter! Well worth the wait even though I was checking on updates every day! I even stalked your profile page, or forum page, I don't know; I always get lost on this site! And get rid of Morgan the Mooch; send him to rehab somewhere on the North Pole or something......

Ok, so what's wrong with Andrew? And I'll tell you, he really got off to a bad start b/c now Brian probably won't even acknowledge him in school. I can understand that he doesn't want people to know what's wrong with him, but he should really try to be a bit friendlier. All he had to was tell Brian he didn't want to talk about it; he really didn't need to be so rude about it. I'm really enjoying the story and look forward to the next chapter. Hopefully he won't get bullied at school, like he seemed to get in the mall. Oh, and I noticed a typo: principle is spelled principal, if you're talking about the principal of a school.

Oh shit, what a nightmare Andrew's having! I'm sure he'll be relieved to finally get to school and things will be different. I'm gonna have to re-read the first chapter though, b/c I distinctly remember Malcolm living with Eli and moving out. I just can't believe that if David was so smitten with Eli from the start, after their first date, why the heck didn't he ask him out again? Or was it b/c he knew that Eli was hopelessly in love with Chance? Speaking of Chance; I miss him!!!!!! Do they talk? Email? Text? Eli hasn't mentioned him since he left for Germany. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!

Omg, I was so crying at the end! Even the second time reading it, already knowing what was going down, I still cried! Of course in my fairy tale mind, I see Candes and Matt living happily ever after. Hey Comicality! I just started reading this story last night and couldn't stop! Well, I had to stop but as soon as I had time I went right back to it. The dogs need to go out, the kids need to eat, but wtf, I NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!! lol I'm on chaper six and I gotta tell you: I'm a female Tristan! I can obsess just like he's obsessing over Jesse. This story is so endearing; I'm totally in love with all three boys, no, make that four; Scotty is just too cute with his puppy love. lol And Lori and Michelle are a hoot! I woulda died if my online crush mentioned my name numerous times AND TOLD ME TO EMAIL HIM!!!! Why isn't Tristan EMAILING HIM???????? Omg, I bet if Tristan never got the nerve to go back upstairs to the food court when Lori and Michelle prodded him, Jessie would have made his next video asking about the cute guy on the escalator! I just know it! Ok, I gotta get back to the story; I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful, well-written, funny, endearing (I could go on and on) story this is! Totally awesome!

We had this huge nor'easter tear right thru our state, cutting our power for GASP! FIVE days!!!! I was so thrilled once I got my power back to find out you updated! I feel so bad for Percy. It's like he's living his RL as a total lie. How can you live your life and not ever 'be yourself'? It's so sad. I know exactly how one can pretty much fall in love with someone online w/o ever meeting. When you're online talking to people who don't know what you look like, what car you drive, etc., it's so easy to kinda trust them and tell them your secrets, things you wouldn't tell other people you actually know. You can become really close with an online friend. I was just as giddy as Percy when I saw Max come back and apologize. I thought it was hysterical that he was running around, showering and shaving for someone who won't even see him! It was pretty comical. Love the story KC, can't wait for more!
