Albariño is a sure bet, I’m pretty sure I can surprise you with a really nice white not-Albariño wine (you might want to have a look at Rueda, Godello…). Take your word for it, getting a good friend of mine to organize a good firewood-cooked paella!

It seems I'll have to stock up on Vega Sicilia, just hope "Único" will be enough as a thank you... 😆🤣 As usual, good scenes, perfect dialogues... the banter among the family, even while dealing with important issues. Masterful, Carlos, thanks for the extra treat. Will be later checking on "Doña Carmen Azul añejo", even when I'm not a tequila kind of guy (with or without lime and salt)! Happy President's Day!

Excellent chapter, Carlos. I keep returning to the impression I'm just a witness to the going-ons of this big family you are crafting, the proverbial fly on the wall... The way you connect your stories with others here on GA is just the icing on the cake. At a loss for words, @Parker Owens, thank you. What you describe here could be put in clinical, sterile words, or in the dirtiest way possible. Going with your skills, you just chose an elegant way to simply suggest, to just trigger the imagination of the reader and get a picture, a very personal picture of intimacy at it finest.
