Just arrived in my hometown, reading about our CJverse while enjoying some really good tapas. Please, @Carlos Hazday, let me know when CJ & Co want to make holiday in Andalucía… Thanks, Carlos!

Barcelona is always worth a visit, it's really interesting city with lots of architecture, culture, history... and fascinating people all around.

Glad to help, @Carlos Hazday, it’s really impressive to see how Gaudí was able to design such beautiful light effects.

I think Carlos is talking about this picture... ... or maybe this one:

Carlos, the way you shape up dialogues among your characters is really masterful, you create believable characters, so the action is even more believable. I guess I’ve just started sort of fanboying around. Again. I hold you responsible, Mr. Hazday’ 😊

I have to admit that I am quite partial to @Carlos Hazday's stories, so, don't go hoping for some sort of objectivity, because there will be none. Once this disclaimer is out of the way, "Loving Anniversary" is once again a beautifully crafted reading where fictional characters tell a more or less simple story, but the author is able to weave much more into his storytelling. Here we deal with racism, but also with headstrong people (Liebe is undoubtedly CJ's daughter) who are ready to go to fight for a good case. I've told in other places how fond I am of the CJverse: a story with lots of characters develops into sort of a parallel world where CJ, Owen, Harley, Thiago etc. become real to the reader, to readers who await more or less patiently to new installments, new stories, new chapters. Every story, short or long, fills a cluster in the timeline which started with "Summer" and CJ's arrival in Washington. I'm borrowing WolfM words to sum up this rambling: If you think you know your way in the CJverse, you have to read this. If you still don't, it is a nice appetizer. Thanks, Carlos!

Whenever it gets to commenting one of @Carlos Hazday’s stories, I have a deja vu feeling: the first impression is always “well thought, nice plot, outstanding writing, love the characters” and so on. This one is no exception, Carlos: a moment in time perfectly put into words giving us not only a story, but some food for thought as well. I completely agree with you on the idea about the “melting pot”, something that’s also told of Andalusia (with its Greek, Roman, Germanic, Muslim, Christian heritage). To melt everything together would be eliminating all differences instead of respecting and cherishing them. Thank you for -again- allowing a peek into the CJverse! All the best

Carlos, it is flat out cruel: I was so happy to get a new chapter of Everhope, made up in my mind you were going to post twice a week, and then I get to those two infamous words: “The end”. That’s cruel, man. Seriously now, thanks for the new chapter in the CJ-verse, good writing, perfect storytelling… and another peek in the lives of our favorite family. Thank you, Carlos, will celebrate with paella and a nice cool rosé wine from Navarra (northern Spain).

It’s been raining a couple of hours today, maybe humidity won’t be killing us tomorrow… Safe trip back, @Gary L

I’m just falling hard for Rusty, such a beautiful character you’ve crafted here, Laura. But that’s no surprise after Hans (Collateral) and every other “second tier” people you gift us with. Thanks so much, this Friday is definitely looking up!

Big great surprise after a couple of very busy days. Thanks, Carlos, I hope your threat of letting us wait a whole year for the next installment can be helped with a glass of Ribera (already on the way, LOL).

And you do it so good… 🤣🤣 Thank you for including me in your team!

Excellent chapter as usual, Carlos, I'm looking forward to their next adventure. You know how fond I am of this CJverse you are creating, glad to be a witness to this world. Pity Northmann didn't get hang out to dry... or to serve as crash test dummy, or even punching bag... Hoping you are saving that scene for a later adventure of our young temperamental diplomat. By the way, thank you for not keeping the cliffhanger going for a whole week! All the best, congrats for another IMHO perfect story!

Seriously, Carlos, you just crushed my hopes of you not being pure evil. A bloody cliffhanger here? On another note, good writing here, perfect timing, action flow... Maybe we can get Northman's head on a platter as a way to compensate for the 🤬 cliffhanger? Please? Does he get a side job as punching bag?

Tenses (A Grammatical Digression)
JACC commented on JACC's story chapter in Tenses (A Grammatical Digression)
Just playing with the ambiguity time-tense (both “tiempo” in Spanish. Thanks for commenting, @AC Benus -
May I have a peek? May I? May I? 🤣🤣🤣

Keyword here: yet! 🤣🤣

In the past I reflected on the enticing future awaiting around the corner. From simple to perfect, always going one step beyond to reach that bit more of perfection in a pluperfect way. And I kept on thinking about what needed to be done to make a perfect one out of my simple future. Once again, I went over the paradigm of tenses and suddenly, crystal clear was the path before my eyes. To get a perfect future only attention is required to that expres

I had to check just to make sure this week hasn't had two Fridays, and it hasn't, so a very big THANK YOU for the extra chapter is in order. Thanks, Carlos!
