Thanks again for the new chapter. The tension again is rising. So many things coming together. I get the feeling the coincidence of 9-11, Will’s departure and the revelation of the things they found out about Kris, all will add to the tension and ‘fireworks’ in the coming scenes. The mood rings sound nice, but not sure if you can trust the colors really or if they just will create misunderstandings between Will and Travis, or with other people once they know the meaning of the colors. Captivating like all the chapters before and as always the end of the chapter comes to soon. 😉

Thanks for continuing this story. I think Tom needs ‘family’ more than he realised before. And yes once kids get involved in your life, as godfather, you will get involved more. But the whole of Mitchell’s family seems a happy bunch and from Tom’s view I can see the attraction to that too. Tom and Mitchell I have the feeling they will find they match well long term, but they need to learn that spending much time together and learning all about each others feelings. Had too read some older chapters again to get back into the story flow. It was easy getting back into the flow of the story. Somehow this chapter sort of was not as I remembered. Edited it and changed it a bit ? As always it was captivating and funny to read, thanks.

A story that in my pov should have had a lot more attention. For me certainly a story in the CSR (can’t stop reading) category. Simply grabbed me from the start till the end.

Not sure how many people in the admiralty would have seen that letter. Did secretaries at those days open letters? My guess is St Vincent got a personal letter at the admiralty. For in chapter 9 St. Vincent said Chalmers wrote ‘him’ a letter: ‘I explained to Captain Calvert that I had received a letter from Lieutenant Chalmers…’ Why would St.Vincent tell Calvert and George this before telling the king. Was he hoping for money or what…? So I do question the motivation of St.Vincent. Money, jalousie, The Guild, family ties ?

Great chapter again. Thanks. Though the letter was destroyed, we do not know how many people were alerted by St. Vincent, other than the king. George however seems to be still a favorite to the king. And I guess the presence of the singer will not harm him either in his position with the king.

Indeed. I guess, in the longer term, it will be not that bad for Calvert. George himself has had positions at the court and other positions or times away from a ship and it did not harm him. Still not understand St. Vincents action though. He could have destroyed the letter himself, but opted ‘to out’ Calvert to the king.

Absolutely enjoyed the story. Thanks. The story maybe was also special to me because the big items of this story all were part of my own life. A hidden gay romance, a very loving LTR, kids, marriage, loosing loved ones when young.

Granger has been doing well in lots of bad situations. This will be a different battle though, as in the admiralty he can do almost nothing. But as he pointed out to St. Vincent it may become a battle on another level if this ‘uncorroborated story’ about Calvert will get out. And yes stories about Granger may come up too during that. Will be interesting to see what Caroline will do in that situation. I do not understand the attitude of St.Vincent towards Granger though. It is almost as if he wants the story of Calvert out knowing it will look bad on Granger too. Thanks, lovely chapter. Got me hooked once again with these series 🫶

Thanks for the new chapter. Had expected a bit more fall out from the attack on Will. But maybe that is still coming as the Olympics are not over yet. Not sure what sudden business troubles will mean for the story. And why they should be with JJ for that. I guess we will find out soon. The family visit to JJ can stir up some trouble too. My opinion is that JJ simply has still to learn to stand up for himself, facing his family. Simply sometimes say ‘No’ or ‘No, not now’ . It is simply not respectful the way some of JJ’s family think they can ‘visit’ there whenever they want and think they can make last minute changes on their visits without consulting JJ and asking. JJ must let them understand that it is his place and his place is not like Escorial and that visits in his place may not be convenient at times. Thanks again for the new chapter. Thanks for another nice chapter. Another weirdo hit the dust, I hope. A bit surprised though that Jake would only inform the the Olympic Committee people and not local authorities as it was in a public park. let’s see how these people will handle it. Would not be surprised if they would try to turn the table and make Will the bad guy.

Thanks for the chapter. Enjoy this story series a lot. Though funny and though I can understand their action towards the nasty neighbor, it is an action again that could turn easily against them. For instance if there is a cam with night-vision… And… never underestimate a nasty, suspicious old woman or man 🤭😉.

Thanks for another great chapter. JJ has a lot of baggage and insecurities from earlier relationships, so he needed that firm reaction from Kris. JJ’s insecurities are something that probably will haunt him again and again and not sure he might grow out of it completely. But the way he handled ‘Seb’ is a good sign he is learning to stand up for himself and his partner. Thanks 🫶

Yes, a necessary thing to do. You cannot reset from last time. You can only move on from the present and they both need the confirmation again and again, they will be there for each other. Will be the most important person for each other.

Great chapter again. And I like the setting with the olympic games. Many gay athletes have the feeling they can not be out as long as they are in competition. And in some sports you will not find any ‘out’ players, like in soccer. And there, in soccer, most will not even come out after their careers ended. Unfortunately in many male sports there is still this big problem when being gay and out. And in professional settings lots of clubs will not have or hire openly gay players or Athletes.

Thanks for the chapter. Liked the part with JJ and his Dr. JJ has issues, I think, not only from his past. And starting again a relationship without both being in love (yet), might not be the best action. I guess we’ll find out if JJ and Kris could be more than bed partners or fwb.
