"“There is pig heart, liver and belly fat cooked together in a crock ..." All minced together and wrapped int he pigs belly membrane. What's worse they sell them frozen as Brain's Faggots (Think Mr. Brain was the Butcher)... Personally I love my faggots with homemade chips, peas and thick meaty gravy. My X included any pigs meat that most people wouldn't buy heart, lung, liver, kidney, the lot!!!. Must say having lived in Scotland and I fell in love with Haggis just as much, and to eat a TOAD in the hole is sheer heaven! I love Edwin the Brit version of Colin and a great character to set a spin off about. UK-VUN fights for right!!! I love mum... she is one feisty lady and willie is totally smitten with her. Love how it set right in the center of the mining country ... Newcastle and Durham as well as Yorkshire were strong mining areas and the area of Bedale is smack in the middle and the abandoned mines where the others are hiding all fits with the area. Love it made me really feel homesick....

I absolutely love the chapter this is the best so far... Sir Edwin sounds like the lads I grew up with in Yorkshire and it was often a common thing way back in history for the land owner, often the owner of the pit or the "People at the big house" as they were known to take in the children that were left homeless when their parents were killed down the pit. In the 1770s Edwins mother and father would most likely have worked in the mine often taking the children down there with them. It was only form mid 1800 there was any regulations. In those days the boys would have ended up int he stables or working with gardeners of the big house. I look forward to seeing how it shapes up ... If anything at the moment I see the humans being the problem, not Edwin. Really looking forward to seeing if this is the start of UKVUN as it would be a perfect setting for the British headquarters.

Been to London on day trips on the bus from the north to attend West End theater with my man who hates musicals, but got him to Mary Poppins and Hairspray... Then before the bus leaves what is a qualified ticket holding gay man supposed to do in London? Shop on Oxford street of course!!!
-
Being a Yorkshire man Faggots are a main stay to the diet, as is Toad in the Hole!! Pub grub in the north will often have Faggots on the menu. Having been married, my X was and expert at making them (not telling what they are!) The frozen type are nothing like the real stuff. Often been to London but they are hunting me as I must be the only brit that has never shopped at Harrods or been on the London Eye. Love the way William and Mum are developing almost their own story in the background. Trying to work out what will happen when they meet the British Vamps. There are so many options open to the story now, a new branch being opened with it's own problems and needs. What would the Brit version of Colin be like ... A 17th century land owner? Landed gentry? Lord Fitzwilliam? Head to the North and settle in the West Riding of Yorkshire and my great-great-great-great grand daddy will look after them!

I am loving this, especially the twist with the PDTU... I was always close to my mum, but she was taken from us when I was a boy. Reading the chapter a loving mother / son relationship made me wonder what mum would have been like if she had not had cancer. The doctor said it was because of all of the coal mines around us and the coal dust. I even was wondering if she would have made a good member of UKVUN forces. Really looking forward to where this story is heading...

The Forces of VUN return .... I life is complete ... I love it, it could not have started in a better way ... I must admit I did wonder how the world would react to the message that Colin sent out, but like them I am amazed at volume of the response. Mind , not having been able to see what the thousands of emails said has left us wondering exactly what they are going into..... "The only thing I know about England is they drive on the left, have a monarch and talk funny.” ... I'll have you know that I resemble that! Being from and growing up in the Yorkshire mining area you would the accent that we have as even other Brits do not understand a broad Yorkshire accent! “We’re like pioneers.” I said. “Going into uncharted territory. ... I've heard this before or something like it ... "To boldly go where no man has gone before!" Love this chapter and the Forces of VUN are coming over here

Wonderful as always the forces of VUN are trully taking their place in the world now. I agree that there needs some organization before things start to take off ... Colin is a natural leader, but I want Devon in there as well as he has a natural ability to sense things remember... Obviously Willie has to be head of security as he as combat experience and Stan IT director. It would be interesting to have one more chapter where things start to happen and they realize they need a structure in place and we see the Council of VUN being created. Can't wait for the next installment whether it be the next chapter or Blueblood 2: The World!!
-
The battle is on and the forces of VUN now have their goal and aim in life.... More forces need to be created and they need to realize that they can't win every battle. I love the thought of PAPA Willie? But will mummy agree to being changed? Watch this space!!! Love it !!!

I fucking love this chapter .... Totally awesome!!!! Great to see Colin able to get some retribution for being turned by Bret. Totally agree with the comment " Shelly may be human but she was amazing!" I feel sorry for the Darcy's. I am a father of two girls and a grandfather of one and I know that I would gladly rip the head off anyone that harmed them int he way Adrian did to Karen Darcy. Absolutely love the forces of VUN ! ! !

Can someone take me away to that hotel and spoil me for the night .... WOW !!! Great chapter yet again ... Worrying about the new twist. Is it Adrian? Is it a rogue by himself in the area, the fact that animals were killed makes it appear that it maybe more than Marissa and her gang. Loved it mate ... keep it coming!
-
How do you do it??? Yet another great chapter. I liked the banter between Marissa and the VUN boys. I also liked the history that she was able to share with them. From the sounds of it there may be a vampire council, a controlling body. It will be interesting to see how that takes having VUN around changing vampires so not more teeth trouble. I think if the boys think she has revealed quite a lot of information , possible more than she would want. The little trollop how dare she proposition them? I'm first in the queue !!!

I love the chapters where Colin and Devon try to work out what is happening, or what should happen as they have such a wonderful partnership. i would love a partner that trusts me enough to consider anything that I said... Colin does devon and Devon likewise. At least it cleared up the fact that they don't believe in magic even if Marissa does. It makes me wonder if they are going to find the place is like the roman Catacombs... a warren or tunnels and living areas under Charleston like Stan hinted at. If that is the case how do they get the upper hand to gain control to make sure the place is safe? Didn't like Adrian last time and still don't now. Wold love to know why Colin can't sense anything from them though? Is there more than one strain of vampire venom and if so how can they control it?
-
I not sure what to think at the moment. How do we know her group has fewer vampires? If Marissa had no feeling that Colin could pick up and all they could sense from Adrian was DARK... Magic...They also mentioned magic remember. We thought vampires never existed so how do we know that they do not have magic and wanted Colin's group because they thought being a Daywalker involved some magic that they could learn. DARK magic is dangerous and that's all that I am getting from Marissa at the moment. Magic would be able to cloak the truth from those around her. The old world is full of tales of magic and witches, what's to say a witch didn't get turned and now she's Marissa. Around the time she came over tot he new world even America was rife with tales of witchcraft and witch trials ... not sensing anything good from this alliance. Kev

He might have been there, but security are now aware of his affiliations and he is not welcome now... As for knowing about wentworth it's rather in your face so they know about it anyway. I agree though, they may still be human but I just don't trust them at the moment.

The first vampire "IN" Charleston. She doesn't say she was made there. It sounds like she was the first to come there for a new life and so the first IN there... She doesn't say she WAS she said she IS, which make it appear that she still has the control she always had. The way that they are bowing to her is almost 'Old Country' nobility recognition and paying homage to royalty. So is her background from the old houses of Europe and she has royalty in her? They are all obviously her men the way they wanted to protect her and keep her hidden. She obviously has not lost her humanity so it will be interesting to she how her story develops. I loved the way they overwhelmed David by coming at him from every entrance and exit that there was... I'd love to be an agent of VUN !!!

I love that mum made Willie grow and become the man he is ... William. I always loved that name, hate mine though!!! William showed just how brave he really is by deciding to have the surgery, he could have just lived like he had for maybe centuries more. Surgery at any time must to hell to face no matter who you are. I worry now that they are being led by a very accomplished vampire into a trap, though as the humans are willingly giving the blood and he is not killing his victims it shows that he has not lost his humanity and is not the animal that he so very easily could have been. I think there are a few twists in the pipe line ... Leave mum nursing William, I think he will be happy if they do. Love this chapter ... very human and nice to see the counselor developing in Devon.
-
Love this chapter... Always felt Devon had the savvy to help others ... worried about his mother though. If this David is connected to a nest of vampires then Colin and Devon may be in danger as well. Absolutely stunning writing, love this new world you are creating. I write, but mine is a garble compared with this masterpiece. This is my daily dose of serum that I have to take. I love it !!!

I think it would be great to get the shrapnel out... I can't see him out hunting others, but I would love him and Stan to hit it off and for Willie to find an affinity with the computer. something that makes his ability unique to the team and really gives him an ego boost. Of course for Devon to call him daddy now there is a twist.

I am falling in love with Willie ... I already lust after Colin and Devon, but Willie is stealing my heart. PTSD is a title or letters that governments and authorities hide behind when they fail to be able to support our boys who suffer the horrors of war. I grew up in 60s when the WW11 was still and open wound in the hearts of those that had fought and lived through it. My own father would tell stories of how his friends went into a fox hole one night to sleep and because there was only room for six he claimed a single one and bunked down the the night. When he woke his hole was covered by a fallen tree so he dug himself out only to find that the place where his six friends were had been where the bomb had struck and nothing was left. No wonder when you go through that and worse your mind suffers and you lose yourself. Willie I some how feel is like he is because he was turned so close to when he came home and he never got chance to integrate back. If governments would only realize that many times these people only need a little love and direction, then they can be integrated in to society, not left to become homeless and reviled. Come on a little support please...

Excellent chapter and really captures the confusion at the new world Willie would be struggling to come to terms with. I love the link that he and Colin has and how Willie is accepting Colin's family first. Devon has shown his measure yet again by being the only one that recognized that Willie needed the room to feel like home. Not white and bare. He needed clutter and his treasures in order too feel safe. Being a Brit it's a shameful fact and true that so many men came home from that insidious war and the medical man did not have the knowledge of how to care for them. Many think that PTSD is used almost as an excuse to explain what they can not explain. All we know is these men faced the maws of hell in the trenches and still our men face these maws today ... Then once they have faced them and battled the demons of war they crawl out of hell leaving their old lives behind never to be the same again...and we wonder why they have problems we can't explain. I loved my Grandpa, he was so like Willie. WW1 had stolen part of him ... the vacant looks ... the need to be alone ... his only smile when his grandchildren chattered away about nothing and a tear rolled down his face. I miss the hours he cradled me to his chest and we both were in heaven for a few moments. The world might have been buzzing around us, but we were alone in our own world together and he was happy.

I love how the character of Willie has been revealed and now we understand why he trusts Colin. I remember when I was younger and married, many times when I was reading the chapter above I could see my oldest boy as he was growing. "I knew what to do dad because you taught me. Willie may seem simple, but I have a feeling mix him with Stan and the two will click and be a force to reckon with and possibly Buddy will become his treasure like it has for Sam and finally he was will able to find a reason in life other than hiding, I know I love Colin and Devon, but coming from a family where father beat the hell out of me when he found out I was gay I want Willie to be my daddy too. I was hooked on the Caped Crusader and Boy wonder every week on TV ... Please though don't turn everyone in to colored power like either the film or one of the episodes did... I can only believe in so much...

I love this chapter. Now we have a badass chick who on the surface has better senses than the men!... I loved Gabby anyway, bit this new twist gives her character a lot of possibilities ... Must say I am worried about Devon's mother. Than new man in her life left me cold and she is all alone down there.... Sam and Mark are so sweet ... and don't anyone tell me that there hasn't been that someone special that you have been hooked on and scared to tell because it would ruin your friendship!!! Love this chapter I think the most so far!

Seriously I would be the first in the queue over here int he UK to buy your books!!! Love them ...I need some new books...

WOW the story only gets better... having been bullied all my life I would have loved someone like Papa Pussy Cat in my corner... Love these guys and want more!!!

Absolutely love this series of stories ... this this is turning into my favourite as I get withdrawal symptoms between chapters being posted. Would love to have been in that conference to see how Dean acted... Think I'm falling for him and his little mate.
