I asked my man to marry me when it became legal in England and do you know what he told me? I could not believe my ears ... He told me in front of my oldest son that, and I quite ... 'It's TOO gay!' To this day he still hasn't and has never explained what he meant by it. Loving the story, its getting better by the second. Loving the name of the business "Luck Stars" ... I just wish that I had a few.

Hell I'm no music man, but even I remember Captain and Tennille ... ask my man and he could tell you the year their songs were in the charts over here and if they were more popular in the US or the UK ... Some people like sport he always liked his music. Loving the Old one, don't ask me to remember how to spell their names though. Can't wait for the next chapter. Oh yes I forgot, it's already waiting for me!!!

I think if I was that little man and Dragon did his eyes thing on me, I just wouldn't keep coming back for more. I'd most likely offer to roll my sleeves up and help to get them off my back. I love Mark how he stepped in and said how it was. Also if I was Stan, I'd a said yes as well ! ! !

Having been in a marriage where I was only there because I was a baby making machine I have to question if being alone would have been better ... Sometimes I think we often do things because we feel the world or loved ones around us expect us to do it ... Like getting married with me. I love how Wayne and Amasis had this explained to them. It's a shame so many end up in loveless marriages and relationships because of world / family / religious expectations and trying to please everyone but the most important person ... yourself!

When I was a kid there was old caves in the area we lived and we loved exploring them. I was just thinking what it would have been like to walk in on something like what's happening with all of these people ... would we have been able to believe? Would we have walked away, blinded by disbelief or would we have wanted to help? Hell what would young kid like me at the time have done it I came across someone like Wayne and Amasis naked and ..... Knowing me back then I'd have just joined in and sod the consequences. -

Cogs ... Not all of them are huge and often the most important one is the little one that holds all of the rest together. Stan is there and they know that that little cog has possibly got the most together mind that any of them have. Not just a computer guy!

What's to say investment isn't in the plan as well? Eric is a pretty special type of guy in the story, I like giving it was but just hope there isn't too many slaves to pay. He could create a foundation with a proportion of the money "The Lucky Man Foundation" which with the interest and funds he could then fund projects like this. Being the Luckiest man in the world others would want to donate and support the foundation and it could become quite a force for him to use. -

I think I prefer the banter above to the actual story ! ! ! When I'm writing I have the links to the name generators that you get online. Might be the wrong way, but then I record the names I like in a book Justin Case I ever get to write the story. Or since my family and my ex-wife's has been researched back tot he 1600s I often use a family name. Absolutely loving this story. After all of the turmoil recently it's like sitting down with an old friend being able to them again... Thanks -
I loved this chapter and can see where Eric is coming from... Everyone wants to do what's right and to make a difference but what will he choose to do? Rain compliments his so well and in away Lola and Aunt Pearl are a good fit too. My mother in law is the same age as Lola, I just wish she was as strong! If we had a billion how would we use it to make a difference? Having been abused when I write it's always something to do with helping homeless and abused kids, but what would be the best way to use a billion in the modern world???

I never had a Grandma but I knew my old Aunt and she was one formidable lady from Yorkshire ... Lola reminds me of her. Absolutely in love with these guys ... Thank you!!!

Sounds like Lola is a woman that has been hurt in life and not having anyone there for her ran to escape the hurt. I think if I'd been born a decade earlier I could easily have been a hippy. Then again you always second guess. When I sent our wedding invitations out, I got an invitation from a missionary that I had worked with inviting me over to his wedding at the same time as mine. The idea was to go there, travel with him and then work for his father. I still wonder what if? Where would I be today if I had moved to California then?

I love my man, but can I have some of that Marine ass please... They sound edible! I love how he's renovating the house, but more than that I love the hotel. My first job in the north was at an hotel that looked out on the sea. I loved it more than any other job I have had. It was so peaceful when yo needed to escape to think.

People have obviously lost their tongues or fingers to type ... I am loving this ! ! ! ! Rain is fantastic, have you got a spare one that I can have. The press conference sounded horrendous not sure that I could have done that. I love Rains attitude on life, it would be a better world if everyone felt the same.

I like Susan ... At least she was civil, my ex will talk on the phone and even chat to my man but then turn the kids against both of us. Shame my oldest has read right through her and he and my man even go out drinking together when he comes up for a visit, leaving me with the grandkid! Loving the story .... As usual all of the characters are human ... Strange when the ones that I used to read were vampire. Thanks.

Sorry! I didn't disappear, it might sound weird but I just needed space and still haven't gone back to the old stories ... Bad news from doctor had me in a right spin! doing better now just something have had to learn to live with. Loving the new story, but may be slow in picking it up as I have new glasses coming next week. Even trying my hand at writing for the first time in months. 2012 ... WOW didn't realize it was this far back... All of that seems like history now. Loving the story again 🥰🥰
