    The doc is excellent and wrote everything out. I've got an alarm on my phone as a noon reminder and another for 8pm. The other times correspond with waking up and bedtime.

    I saw the eye doctor this morning. The good news is the pressure in both eyes is greatly improved. Need to continue the current regime of eye drops. Four different ones, two of them three times a day, one morning and evening and the last at bedtime. Return in three weeks after the course of steroid is completed to evaluate the bulging/double vision issue. Looking forward to dinner tonight. Mum is taking me out to a local Viennese restaurant. Planning on jaeger schnitzel, spaetzle and red cabbage as my birthday meal.

    The bright side for Mr Fanning is that it was the rehearsal dinner and not the reception. Hmmm, then again ... Imagine someone becoming apoplectic as the result of a conversation with CJ.

    Mum and I just finished a late dinner. Shrimp oreganotta with crusty ciabatta and a salad of mixed spring greens followed by homemade Christmas cookies and a bit of bourbon pecan turtle fudge. I'll wish y'all a Happy New Year now as I don't plan on staying up until midnight. I've got an achy head. I'll likely know when the year turns though as there are a number of folks here about that like to shoot off their guns and backyard fireworks.
