The pattern in question is tattersall check. A pattern of colored checks and intersecting lines resembling a tartan. Some sources consider it a type of plaid. Myself, I do not. Hence, this lad is yours Clo. 😉 WHAT!?!

I spent a bit of time doing the early spring cleanup in one of mum's flowerbeds, potted up some tulip bulbs and swept the patio. While the temp was only in the mid-50's, ~13°, the sun was warm enough for me to work in a tee shirt.

I'm sorry much in your life currently seems to be going awry. That sense of one thing after another slipping out of control. While you can't make it to the funeral you still need to grieve. Don't deny yourself that. I hope Steve improves soon. My best to you both.
