Greetings Albert and also to Steve. Hope things are good for you. I'd like to say I'm well but that is not the case. Migraine issues are on going. Some days worse than others. Fortunately Mum is doing well for her age. Thank you for asking.
I see Gary's "crush" Carlos Alcaraz has won this years Australian Open becoming the youngest man to complete a tennis Grand Slam. Now if he could just get those Leafs to win the Stanley Cup.
Our beach has snow on it. We got roughly 5 inches overnight. It was 20/-7° but felt like 5/-15 at sun up. Currently 25/-4° but feels like 15/-9. Forecast is for high of 32-34°. That's very cold for here since normal low temp is 37/3°. The positive is that the sunshine is warm and melting the snow on hard surfaces, i.e., sidewalks, driveways and roads. Though need to be wary on bridges and overpasses also areas where the pine trees shade the roads as though remain icy.
While I applaud your accomplishment please for the love of all things holy and Drewcifer do not tax yourself over much. Your enthusiasm sometimes leads to faulty judgement and you can just "chair" any argument on that.
Remember how concerned we all were when the wildfires were burning near you? Maybe don't wish ill from natural conditions on others even if meant in jest.
Spikey and Drew, I hope What'shername, the winter storm, doesn't effect you too badly. It looks like Mum and I will be okay - the benefit of being within 5 mi of the ocean - while my home in PA could see 12+ of snow plus intense cold.
