G'day and happy new year y'all. Ours has dawn moderately warm and damp. Not pleasant at all. As the pup is still a bit out of sorts he and I had a bit of a lie in. Biscuits are in the oven baking. Later I'll prepare smoked pork chops, collards and grits. Not the new year's tradition of pork and sauerkraut I grew up in but rather a bit Carolina low country though no Hoppin' John this year. Blessed be.
Is it only since 2014? Seems you've been around much longer biting ankles and bums.
I wonder if Eagle still has teethmarks. I miss him and hope he is well.
It's currently 68/20° and rainy here along the SC coast. Not a pleasant day at all.
I have a migraine and Thistle is out of sorts too. He's cuddled in my lap under a light blanket drowsing while I sip at a large mug of milky Scottish Breakfast tea lightly sweetened with orange blossom honey. Mum is downstairs reading and having a cup of blueberry black tea.
2013 was the year I turned 55 and that birthday was the date for my disability to be officially declared though I'd been forced to quit working about 19 months earlier.
I'm still holding out for a leniency commutation of my sentence of a lifetime ban on his momma's tamales but the clock is ticking down towards midnight.
I just refrained from saying so for fear of appearing an odd duck. I mean I know I can seem so but why offer confirmation. However, in support I can resoundingly say ... YES.
One would think seeing those mating bonds would answer that question but I'm sure you could deliver engaging doses of daily angst ... should we be expecting daily postings?
Such a wonderful respite. Time to just be together. Sawyer being able to see the threads of the mate bonds bode well. Were you aware that the full moon that occurred last night though it has other names is sometimes referred to as the "Wolf Moon".
