  1. When I first saw that I immediately thought of you.

    Chapter 32

    I am without words ...
  3. You survived the day, I call that an achievement.
  4. That one is on my list to make soon.
  5. We had soup. It's becoming a trend. Last night we had beef barley soup. We have an abundance of ground/minced beef in the freezer we'd bought in bulk at Costco and portioned into .5lb packages. I used one of those, unsalted beef broth, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, roasted red pepper and a carrot plus pearled barley of course. It was wonderful. Tonight I made soup using fresh cheese tortellini, chicken broth, chopped canned tomatoes, onion, roasted red pepper and fresh spinach. Again very good. Mum is fond of soup and there has been a damp chill to the air the last couple of days so soup is both warming to old bones and fills the tummy.

    Cold Blooded

    Intriguing.
  7. Aww, geez.
  8. Aww, sorry sis. Hope things get sorted. If not you've got Albert's flamethrower
  9. I'm pretty sure he winked at me.
  10. Wow ... and Clo makes a move to poach Val's herd.
  11. Albert! It's cold where she lives. She's not gonna want to be walkin' around dressed like that.
  12. Careful bro, remember @Drew Espinosa is one of his minions. I foresee glitter nukes ...
  13. What?!? Who's a lady? I mean she's my WQ sis I should know something like that right.
  14. Lookin' good. You've still got that mischievous grin.
  15. It became rainy here too and only got up to about 47/8° so it has a raw damp chill feel to the day. Not very conducive to accomplishing much. Though we now have most of the Christmas decorations packed away until next year. I've got the makings for beef barley soup simmering in the crockpot and a loaf of sourdough French bread I'll warm in the oven to serve as tonight's supper.
  16. Was he any help? I meant posting the chapter.
  17. That Mr. Corker seems a right corker but he loves his horses. I thought it interesting he saw Duke and Molly as being of equal value. I've often encountered studs costing more because of their ability to sire more colts than a mare can bear. Too bad we missed their purchase of the land. Might have proven entertaining. I like that while the lads might make purchases separately as a precaution they view what they have as shared. Will there be one house or two? I suspect just one along with one barn for this winter as there too much work to do to devote time to building a house they don't need.
  18. Yeah, me too.
  19. It took years to grow into that tangle so it's likely to take a bit of time to undo. Any progress is still progress.
  20. I suspect the Imperial Dreadnoughts will soon be sailing just off the western coast of Ireland.
  21. I didn't know Johannes Gutenberg printed the first issue of 1984. Do you still have that First Edition?

    Chapter 3

I had hoped it would be otherwise ... It seems that Eddie is meant to be Aric's future.
