  1. Yeah, but Walmart has sold out and Costco doesn't carry that brand.
  2. What's the price per pound on prime beefcake?
  3. That explains the warm snugglies I felt a bit ago. Thanks.
  4. Uhm B, you're thinkin' about the bread right?
  5. Sadly Albert no but thank you for asking.
  6. Since they're savory how will you serve them? As a side to soup or salad or as accompaniment to a meal.
  7. Mornin' WQ.
  8. How did the bread turn out. Tasty as you'd imagined?
  9. Stay safe as you can B. If you work from home does that mean you can work wearing your speedo?
  10. Interesting that when chocolately goodness is involved Thor and the rest of the herd are so easily forgotten.
  11. The high temp yesterday reached 84/29°, this morning it is overcast, breezy and a chilly 54/12° which may not sound bad but the high is forecast to only reach 59/15°. That's well below the seasonal average and the breeze makes it feel colder. Rain is forecast for later, better than the potential snow I see some may get. The migraine continues but I was able to take Thistle for a long morning walk and made mum and I bisciuts for brekkie. Don't get too excited, I just opened a can of Pillsbury Grands. Still they tasted good. Mum is feeling okay. We think it's mostly a case of allergy. The pollen is currently heavy and the breezes the last few days have scattered it. Anything left outside for any length of time develops a coating of yellow.
  12. Hi Page 🐶
  13. Greetings 👋 (I'm practicing my virtual social-distancing)
  14. Was out a bit more than an hour and a half and had to quit. The temp and bright sun got to be too much. Fortunately I accomplished what I'd hope to. Now, after a shower and lunch, I'm relaxing and hoping the building migraine doesn't become too severe. It's currently 81/27° and sunny. The sea breeze is just beginning so that should help moderate things. Tomorrow's high is forecast to be about 20° cooler than today.
  15. Gonna go out and play in the dirt ...
  16. Isn't that how the "Herd" got started ...
  17. So @Valkyrie are you effected by the governor's order that all non-essential workers stay home? I see the Governor of Illinois is issuing a similiar order.
  18. Is your mare likely to kick her hard enough to hurt or just enough to make a point of leaving her alone?
  19. Yeah, I think it was just yesterday ...

    The Graduation

Okay, I read this before and cried and reading it again I cried. We know from Hail to the Chief just how successful Brad is in meeting his dreams but this is when he first tells someone what he wants for his future. I am so damn proud of him ... and you, because he sprang from your imagination. Thank you for gifting him to us.

Not to worry eventually you'll get the porridge to be just the right temperature. I'd have said the bed would be just right but who the hell cares if the mattress is lumpy with this bunch ...
  23. I went to Publix when they opened at 8am this morning. The first hour for older shoppers. I was greeted with "Good morning. Yes, we have toilet paper." Sadly I did not need toilet paper as there were two skids of it. I was more pleased that I could get milk. Also picked up a small bottle of Southern Comfort at the package store across the highway. Mum has been feeling a throat tickle recently, I blame it on the pollen, so has requested a hot toddy the last few nights. My bottle of very nice rye whiskey is just about gone and as it came from a small purveyor in Charleston I'm not likely to replace it soon.
  24. G'day y'all from warm, very warm and sunny SC. It's currently 75/24° with bright sunshine. I understand it's much warmer further inland, potentially record breaking. However, the temp here near the beach is being moderated by a lovely sea breeze. Ocean surface water temps are 60/16°. Because it's Spring Break the Myrtle Beach city beach has crowds of college students. They're not worried by the virus because they think themselves invincible. My understanding that today the police are dispersing them.
  25. It took more than 20 seconds but then there was more than hand washing involved ...
