The first positive case in this area was announced this morning. The govenor has ordered schools closed for two weeks. My barbershop is closed until April 1st.

While it sucks you'll be alone it's good to know they're taking your health seriously. I've decided to reschedule my doc appt in Phila until June. I am scheduled for the Tues after Easter but the idea of two day long train trips with potentially ill folks and then bringing it here to mum decided the matter. Like you mum has a cardiac issue and at 84+ is doubly at risk. It's just not worth it.

It's bright and sunny here too. The temp is currently 67/19° and forecast to warm a bit more before a cold front arrives later with potential showers and/or t-storms.

Shifting barometric pressure suggests to me a very different and unwelcome sort of change than what your words conjure though in both cases there is an aching. The joy and laughter of children can be a soothing balm for many of life's hurts.

There will be more Albert. This virus is easily spread and a large number of folks have it without realizing. We're only beginning to realize the extent. Best advice is to remain calm and listen to the experts not to the snake oil salesman.
