    Chapter 32

The legal team (for the stepbrothers) will do their best to paper over the trail. They have a vested interest!

    Chapter 32

I knew the second that Maryam and Bik heard the word "Freak" that the nuclear option would be taken. Of course, it didn't help that the two idiots came to the meeting dressed as if they were going clubbing. Let's hope this pregnancy goes better than Mickey's cousin's birthing.

    Toxic Condo

What makes anyone think that Will would answer a call from Jeremy? As for going to Boston, I'm not sure that Will would even look at him.

    Toxic Condo

I think now that Jeremy has the proper medication, he is much more balanced than he ever was. That doesn't mean automatic forgiveness on the part of Will. Jeremy is going to have to find a way to show Will he has changed, and he needs to do it soon.

    Chapter 16

I can tell you haven't read many stories by our brothers down under! "Maccas," is Aussie for anything McDonald's! Good that Raffa is on Gray to get tested. Gray initiated the kiss?! I didn't expect that, but happy he took the lead. Who knows how long it might have taken, otherwise!

    Chapter 31

As I said in my last post (Chapter 30), this has to be first. If you can't put a plug in the drain, nothing will be saved.

    Chapter 30

With everything else that has been said here, Mr. Patterson, with his Corporations and money would have been advised to have a prenup made and filed. It would have been a very stupid mistake to have gone against the advice of his attorneys at that point. Then Mickey's firm needs to lead the way in investigating the two stepsons and their friends. Hopefully, something criminal will be found, and then he can file for divorce, holding the criminal actions over the witches' heads for a quick settlement. Well, that would be my strategy. Fixing the Corporations would be secondary to getting out of the situation that is causing the downfall is first.

    Chapter 29

I totally agree with this thought. Most parents split their children up to a year and a half, maybe two years apart. This does allow for better bonding, both with siblings and parents.

    Chapter 27

We kinda knew this was gonna happen. Although I thought that perhaps Ellen's parents might give a bit of a damn... Guess not. This wasn't the way that Mickey and Drew wanted children but here we are!

    Chapter 23

I know exactly what that asshat was thinking. Perhaps you misunderstood this: In his not-so-politically correct way of saying... Ditch Drew, if you want a good future. Earlier, he intimated that certain connections would be made to further Mickey's career. It could have been considered a veiled threat if Mickey didn't follow the recommended course of action.

    Chapter 22

He was an appellate court judge. If you're in that judicial circuit, you would have another associate as the attorney of record for the case, right from the start. At least until he retires or goes on Senior Status.
  12. Um, I beg to differ. My five brothers and sisters were treated with love. My mother couldn't wait until I left home for good.

    Chapter 20

I agree. Then again this current interview appears to be different than the "normal" corporate interview. Yes, he should have known. Corporate firms are a shark tank!

    Chapter 19

Since you generally only clerk for a year (at the SCOTUS level), being invited to clerk for the Chief Justice is such a feather in your cap, that I would think it almost impossible to turn down. No matter where you go after that year, you will command a higher starting salary than would be normal.

    Chapter 13

OK... This is new to me. I don't recall sorcerors in the original. If Alex was one, then my memory has taken leave of my senses! Do I need a new hard drive?
  16. Al Norris

    Chapter 17

While I can't speak about how others do this, I will generally use single quotes and italicize the thoughts:
  17. Are divorces in Great Britain that hard to obtain? It seems to me that there is a clear-cut case of abandonment of the wife to her husband and also of abandonment of her child. We shouldn't even need to mention the criminal case against her.
  18. Al Norris

    Chapter 15

Hmm, I think Tom Goodwin's ass is grass! An American euphemism meaning, in this case, that Tom is fired.
  19. Al Norris

    Chapter 14

Yup. They should have called 911 as soon as he collapsed.
  20. Al Norris

    Chapter 13

As long as this isn't a subarachnoid hemorrhage (sudden onset headache from hell)!
  21. Al Norris

    Chapter 11

Too bad that Dave is only a character in a fictional story. There are things I learned going through E&E (Escape and Evasion) school, back in 1968...
  22. Al Norris

    Chapter 10

So, Drew did know and was fighting it. This! Times 100!!!
  23. Al Norris

    Chapter 9

Let's not forget what Dave promised to do to Drew >> He thinks he's gonna out Drew about his attendance at the Health Center. Let's get one person to help him... Conspiracy to Violate HIPAA. It won't much matter that Drew isn't there to seek treatment. Dave doesn't know that.
  24. Al Norris

    Chapter 8

I bet it is! Does Dave not understand what that family can do to him? Regardless of what may happen to Drew.
  25. Al Norris

    Chapter 7

This is gonna be a MESS!
