I suspect that Asa will be asleep for quite a long time! That had to be exhausting, just going by the way you wrote it. SO... Next chapter we get to see the results. Or are you going to make us wait a bit? If this works, more and more I see a 'cure' for the kids!

Umm, only partially correct, as I see it. See below... Since both the human side and the wolf side use the same brain, and since mercury poisoning affects the structure of the brain, this has to affect both personalities.

I've only read the comments on the first page (you folks are way too fast for me)! Hmm, mercury poisoning, huh? At least we now know the reason behind Caleb's treachery. We also get to see/hear about some of Asa's abilities and what a light shifter can do. The thing that popped into my little mind as I learned more about Asa... Might he also cure the kids? I saw that @84Mags thought of that too.

I don't think it has anything to do with the bullet. Knowing how you write, the reveal won't really be a reveal. Besides, we need to learn why Asa is out there in the Big Lonesome!

I wonder how much rumor gets around? Xavier, being a great dragon, might be a bit upset about hearing some Halfelf killed a great Green, a Great Black, and a Great White... Of course, we don't know if the time period that Xavier is in is the same as Kandric. Is it before, during, or after Kandric has his killing spree?
