    Chapter 7

If it oinks or squawks, throw it back on the grill, otherwise, it had best Moo!!!

    Chapter 25 S1

I believe that our good Paladin answers this perfectly. Uncontrolled fear never uses logic. Add to that the skinwalkers were still Haatali, so as both @drpaladin and @Bill W have conjectured, it might be possible to change into a non-hideous human form. Bill I had figured this might be the same Haatali that changed Isaac. Regardless, it was a very good chapter. You have spun your universe well.

    Chapter 24 S1

I went down that rabbit hole a long time ago, Bill. You need to look at how the Hebrews, the Greeks, and the Romans looked at numerology (arithmancy). Suffice it to say that "7" was considered the perfect or ultimate number. "6" became the almost perfect or penultimate number. The most I will say about "666" is that it became a perverted Christian thing along about the time of the first Council of Nicea in 325 AD.

    Chapter 24 S1

The fear of "666" is an actual phobia called, hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia (if you can pronounce that, you are a better person than I). Diné is pronounced: Die-nay. It was the Spanish Conquistadors that named them "Navajo" and we don't even know what that word means or why they were given that name. Hmm, housekeeping is done. Great chapter Bill!

Um, folks? We just saw the start of a thruple!

    Chapter 23 S1

This does not surprise me. As a people and as a nation, we still ignore what the law and the courts say, whenever it regards native americans.

    Chapter 23 S1

Almost correct. If you are not a member and your victim is not a member, tribal police can detain you until the local LE has been notified and arrests you. You will face state criminal charges. If either you or your victim are members, tribal police can detain you until a BIA officer or the FBI is available to arrest you. You will face federal criminal charges. If both you and your victim are members, then tribal police will arrest you and you will face a tribal court (depending upon the tribal structure a tribal court is a federal court), if one is available else a federal court (Oliphant v. Suquamish Indian Tribe, 435 U.S. 191 (1978)).

Ah! But he did conjecture as to why the A-. Speculation? Yes. Likely not provable.

    The Way Home

Wonderful story, overall. It had all the emotional pinnings to keep the reader engaged.

    Time

Home is where you are... No truer words were ever said.

    Figure it Out

I was introduced to blowjobs at seven. Anal came the next year. Long story. So reading about young teens having full-on sex was not something I wondered about.

    Confuse me Plenty

Oh boy! Here we go again... But with so few chapters to resolve everything. sigh
  15. Rory needs to remember what Luke told him, just a few chapters ago. Luke will not go after someone who is not going to be around. So many clues!

    Mom in a Box

Heart-rending, gut-wrenching, tear-jerking... What everyone else has written. That and more. It was sheer brilliance to put this chapter in the story the way Dom has done.
  17. Please, please let the bloodletting begin!

    Very, Very Bad

On the flip side... Second verse, same as the first!

    Realization

We already know that a hardball upside his head didn't do much damage... I think it will take at least one more episode.
  20. Aaron is a player and Rory is a naïve, inexperienced gay boy who is having what is essentially his very first crush. On the other side of this... We know (more or less) what's gonna happen, but it's like watching a train wreck. Can't not watch it.
  21. Naïveté, thy name is Rory.
  22. What he ( @PrivateTim ) said! Rory needs to get his gaydar checked, LOL. He's being played and doesn't know it.
  23. Al Norris

    A Little Fun

Yup. I've always stayed away from that sort. It's unfortunate that Rory is so naive.
  24. Al Norris

    Reason

I agree with @PrivateTim. Despite the common literary tropes being used, DomLuka's use to tell the story is superb. If we are going to play the blame game, then it falls squarely on Gina's shoulders. Since she didn't let Rory know, then the next culprit is Alice. By letting Rory walk unknowingly into this mess, she had to know what the end result would be. I think I'll even slam a bit of blame on Luke. He knew. And the truth coming from him would have been better (at this point in the story) than anything else. But hey! It's complicated... A line that Rory has heard from everyone, up to this point. Perfect characterization of Rory's responses.

    Dropped

This is my first story by DomLuca. I have to say this chapter grabbed me with the first paragraph. By the time I was halfway through the chapter, I find myself hooked.
