Good start to this story, Dave. Intriguing. A murder mystery right from the beginning. Being woke up with a bullet crashing through the window...wow! Can't wait to see what happens!

I think we all agree that Amanda has went off the deep end. She's wacko but smart, that's not a very good combination. Ethan has never been the smartest kid on the block and she knows that and uses it to her own advantage. I still like these 2 as villains, I love to hate them. Feels so good! Belive me, I want to tell you what happens. I could whisper it to you or pass it to you in a note in science class but you have to swear not to tell anyone LOL I'm glad you're liking it and having fun with this story so far. I've been having a great time with these characters and seeing the readers have a blast with them too! Thanks so much! KC

Evil? Me?? No I'm cute and fuzzy and everyone love meee That was a huge cliff wasn't it? LOL, sorry! Amanda is beyond rational now, she knows that Tanner doesn't want to cheat on grades and she is convinced that he's going to out the rest of them. Here is her trigger and unfortunatly Ethan is her weapon! Hot Topic is my kid's most favorite store ever, she get's giggly thinking about going to the mall to go there. :lamo: I'm listed under the white pages, my real name is: Comic Fan and I live at 123 Main Street...LOL I don't know about other small towns but the schools here where I live do not have metal detectors. Yeah, she could have caused a lot more trouble but she's too focused on Tanner. Ethan is a dumbass, he's so insecure that he's not thinking straight and Amanda know just the right button to push toget him to do what she wants. Kid's might be an adult at 18 but they still are just kids. They make mistakes and bad judgment, hormone filled, sex crazed animals. What's up my sleeve well lets see if you still like me after chapter 9...I think some readers are pulling their money to hire a hitman!

Thanks Wayne, I'm glad your reading and more important liking this story. I've worked really hard on this one. It's not the typical high school story. I tried to pull a lot of real world into this one. I'm surprised you're reading this evening with your headache feel better!

I'm sorry to leave you on a cliff. It was a hard decision where to do the chapter break on this one. I thought about cutting early but didn't want to end short, so I pushed a little further but inched ever closer to that darn cliff Thanks for reading

Most mental disorders don’t manifest until late teens or early adult. There is usually a first trigger and the person can act irrational and unpredictable. Just because she’s been highly functional doesn’t mean that it wasn’t there before…just well hidden. I lived with a schizophrenic for years and believe me, you can’t always tell when someone is mentally ill. The smarter they are the more dangerous they can be I hope you still like the story once I've gotten to the end but I haven't written it all so I'm not 100% sure what the final outcome will be (please don't kill me) Thanks for reading

I think we knew that Amanda was going over the deep end. Ethan is a jealous, horny, teenage boy...he's easily manipulated and she knows that. We will still see a lot more about Gibby's scars and the fire in future chapters. Thanks for reading.

Monday couldn’t arrive quick enough. Thoughts of Tanner teased Gibby as his mind drifted off to images of the handsome boy standing by the edge of the pool, the muscles of his broad back, his round butt in that tight wet underwear. Gibby let a groan rumble his chest with the memories of the delightful, yet brief encounter. Rushing into class just as the bell rang, Gibby nibbled at his lower lip to hide his smile. Tanner had already set up their work area and was gazing into the microscope.

Don't be late for work! Gibby and Tanner will still be here when you get back. AND I'm posting new chapter early tomorrow. My holiday treat to everyone I like how the story is going, I hope the readers do too. There are still lots of bumps and twists and turns ahead. Thanks for reading Waynie-poo!

Short chapter? What are you complaining about? There's still a few more posted for you to read I'm glad to see that you're liking it so far. I've worked really hard on this story. I think people are getting into it, which makes me want to work even harder.

Tanner is an interesting guy. I like him. A few of the characters haven;t had a major roll yet, but there is still a lot to come. I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the names, they are mainly a group of American kids with pretty normal all-American names with the exception to Sunshine Blackfeather (Native American) Ooooh if you drop kick Amanda, I want to watch
