  1. Wanna know what's sad? I had to go back up to my post in here to see what my "nice decision" was LMFAO. Yeah, selective memory sucks hahah.
  2. Lol, my current resolution is 1440x900, so it's only dictated by your video card and your monitor... obviously a normal aspect ratio monitor won't support widescreen. Running widescreen only gets tough for me to do when I'm in high-end games, in which case increasing the resolution beyond 800x600 slows it down a lot... but that should be fixed when/if I go to dual-core, dual channel DDR2, and I get another 7600 GT to use SLI
  3. Then you clearly haven't met my father... to date, my sister has gotten a lower back tattoo, a nose piercing, a tongue piercing, and an eyebrow piercing, on top of dying her hair every color under the sun, becoming pagan/wiccan, dressing punk/goth. No wonder his hair is white.
  4. I'll be taking Statics, Computational Mechanics, and Nonlinear Systems next semester... supposedly Statics won't be so bad since I already went through the hell that is Mechanics of Materials.

    Gaydar?

Gaydar? What's that? Never heard of it...
  6. Meh, for much of the day I was proud to be Bimbo No. 5 lol sorry, i had to
  7. OS has nothing to do with monitor style... GPU does. I use a video card with a GeForce FX 7600 GT SLI chipset, and I can run wide-screen resolutions just fine on my 19" widescreen LCD monitor.
  8. I seem to recall that maybe a week ago I said he was 30 posts behind me... now look at the difference between our post counts
  9. 94% She wrote A on it next to the numerical grade, and I almost fainted.
  10. Closet status has come to the point where if I got a boyfriend (not happening in this lifetime) I would be completely comfortable being gay with him in public. The trouble would come when I wouldn't want my family to meet him, at least not as my boyfriend and not until after I've graduated, been employed, and officially moved out of the house (those things will likely occur all at once since my dad plans on retiring, buying a small yacht --39-42 footer-- selling the house in Jersey and cruising the American/Canadian waterways for a year). After that point, I would likely show him off to anyone and everyone that cared... especially if he could put up with that crap until 2011 (my likely coming out date). But yes, if I got a boyfriend tomorrow, I would hold his hand in public and probably come out to my roommates and friends. I've decided that I have no problems with them since the biggest hurdle, my roommate Brian, is good friends with the lesbian couple whose house I will be going to in two weeks for a "Queermas" party. I think some of them might have figured me out anyway.
  11. 99% you can't buy it without software. You can call and ask, but I doubt it. So long as you aren't charged for the software, just get it, format it, and install whatever OS you like. I understand completely why you would want Win2k or XP. I prefer Win2k, but unfortunately it seems as though compatibility for new software is slowing going out the window... starting with games. But those who are tech savvy tend to prefer Win2k still! After all these years! The most stable OS and the lightest OS Microsoft has built to date!
  12. I view that as more of a personality disorder than a category... I mean, there are a lot of guys who wear designer or go nekkid... I'm friends with one who really wants me to go to a gay bar with him and a few others... I don't consider him in a category, though. lol
  13. Oh right, that explains why My Assistant tells me that todays top posters so far are Kevvers, Beasty, Graeme, and CJ, in that order!
  14. I would use it... but, meh, I'm not a chatroom kinda guy...
  15. Thanks for calling me shallow. I think what you're trying to say is that HALO appeals to that end of the spectrum, in which case I agree. Most of the time they're just antagonizing the enemy in order to gain the advantage... make them feel weak and they'll crumble. A handle like that opens up WAY too many doors.
  16. I understand what you're saying with the statistics so far Kevin, but as a person who views the glass as half-empty, I view that result as saying that 25% of the gay population refuses to date me simply because of my sexuality (such as it is), and that is both startling and disgusting. I had more nasty terms to use in place of prick, so consider the usage of the word "prick" to be me holding back, as hard as that is. Let's hope that I can keep this clear of my blog or I might just go all out.
  17. I see no reason for why I shouldn't date a gay man. Any pre-dispositions he has about me being possibly bi-sexual and being entirely in the closet are his own problems. Sure, I have my own criterion for dating people, but they lay almost entirely with personality and a little with physical qualities. Sexuality? No. Race? Not always (nobody's perfect). Upbringing? Only if it affects us directly and negatively. By the way, I know of a couple involving a gay man and a "not straight" man. As far as I know, they're happy together. In fact, the not-straight one likes to say, "I'm not gay, but my boyfriend is." to confuse people lmao.
  18. 97/103 on my Optics exam getting another chance to pick up my Physics III exam grade
  19. I agree wholeheartedly with the above two posts. It seems very hypocritical when gays and lesbians fight straight people for their rights, and then turn around and bash bi-sexuals because they are different. Bi-sexuals have it the worst, being hated by EVERYONE! It is also very discouraging that I, a virgin who has NEVER had a solid relationship (excluding that 6 mo. fling in the 7th grade), will likely never have the chance to do either. Why? Apparently no gay man will touch me, and no straight woman will touch me, solely because of the stereotype that I'll leave them for the other sex. Gee, I didn't realize I had that track record... oh wait, I f**kING DON'T! I won't deny that bi-sexuals have abandoned their relationships for the atypical gender, but they aren't the only ones who do that. Did anyone ever stop to think that maybe they just didn't offer what the other person wanted? Excluding body parts, maybe Demetz just didn't have something that the ex-girlfriend had. Guess what, just because your relationship is different from the norm doesn't mean that it's immune from the common act of going back to a previous lover. Have you never seen one of those crappy romance chick-flicks? Going back to an ex-lover, running after a hotter catch, cheating, wanting something else, all of these things are common and blanket every type of relationship in the known universe, and probably in the unknown as well. So, what do I have to say to those who would never date a bi-sexual or someone in the closet? Get over yourself, and try being open-minded for a spell, prick.
  20. Careful when you sneeze
  21. Being that I'm in the closet and completely understand why someone else would be in there too, I would have no problem with dating a guy who is in the closet as well. BUT, there would certainly come a time when the closet would become too confined and we might wind up breaking the door down and falling out in a piled of limbs and torsos... maybe with our pants down, who knows.
  22. The way I see it, if you can maintain a healthy (and sexual) relationship with some of the same sex with meaning and for any amount of time, then 'figuring out your identity' is to be with the opposite sex is being confused lol. But I get what you're saying. And, there ARE ways of satisfying him regardless... a girl in the GSA here has a bi boyfriend, and he recently asked her if she'd be willing to use a strap-on. Not sure if she did, but we all suggested to her to at least try it once and see how it goes...
  23. OH NO3Z!!!1!!1!!!!one!! The second-most prolific post-whore has found us out! The jig is up! The cat is out of the bag! Run for the hills! *cackles maniacally* lol
  24. Then it's a choice of calling them and blowing your cover, or suffering. Covert ops teams operating in other countries have to deal with that all the time, not knowing when the opponent last logged into Facebook
  25. And what's wrong with bi's? *evil-eye* Until I figure out my identity, I'll take offense to that, if only to piss people off haha
