The Field of Love Chapter 12 “And to think, that was their best pitcher,” Andy declared as he fought the urge to kiss his boyfriend right there in the dugout. He threw his arm around Joey instead and added with a triumphant grin, “Good game.” Andy knew his dad was about to announce his run for Governor. Every move Andy made reflected on him, and there was no way he’d risk doing anything that might hurt his father’s chances. “Thanks babe,” Joey beamed at his boyfriend.

I've lived in a motel room since November and I no longer have a car and even if I did, I'm now blind in one eye and probably shouldn't drive anyway. As for exercise, does walking from my laptop to my spacious bathroom count? I stopped running when I stopped playing softball in the city leagues. We won't talk about the other type of runs. As for rain, the sunshine state may be a nickname, but it's highly misleading, except when it's not liquid sunshine. Am I fit? Fit to be tied maybe, but not otherwise. I do give my eyes, or one eye plenty of exercise reading awesome stories here on GA by some very talented authors. Shout out to the staff that keeps GA interesting and flowing like the mighty Mississippi.

You are very insightful. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. We build walls around ourselves for protection, but they are also barriers to others to navigate. However sometimes there are those who will take the time and spend the energy to break through those barriers and become life-long friends or family.
